This place gets way less business than they should and the staff is the reason why. This place has no management and because of such its all over the place. The staff just doesnt care and it shows. They dont know what customer service is and they mess up on orders left and right. I waited 15 minutes standing in front of the register while the "cashier" was scrambling with the other workers throwing together orders. Then when she felt like it she decided to do her job and take my order and then ended up overcharged me after she messed up my order. A lot of times when Ive been here you ask for spicy they give you regular and thats been one too many times to count 6/10 visits and were talking over YEARS. Theyve been screwing up orders for a long time here. The staff is the problem. Theyre mostly kids that dont understand customer service or quality and they treat Popeyes like its a playground joking around in the back while food isnt getting made so they end up "running out" of what they should of spent that time making. Then when they run out of stuff they give you what they have. You order spicy and theyre out you get mild. Your order calls for breast and theyll give you thighs and youll drive home only to find out when its too late and they just except you dont come back and complain. Popeyes food is good so good that even the yoyos working there cant make it taste that bad but they can certainly hurt the business and Popeyes parkinglot is way too empty. Whenever I go there or drive by its mostly empty. I have to blame the owner of this place because its clear they dont care about this business. If you saw the pot holes in the parking lot that have been there for years youd understand that. If you came in and saw how lazy the staff is youd understand that, if you watched the customer interactions youd understand that. This Popeyes is terrible and needs an overhaul. The only reason its still getting business is because its popeyes and the only one in the area. Worse now though is that the chicken the sell is even more expensive than it used to be so why pay 12-25 bucks for a dinner when its going to be a botched order and rude customer service on top of it? The Food still is good if you come at the right time but sheesh is this place ever backwards.

Rude staff, cold food, no courtesy. I went in to get a big order, nothing that shouldnt have already been made. Its 8:05 pm when I go in and they close at 10:30 pm.I asked for a large order of spicey chicken tenders. The response I got was" we are out of them and wont make any more for the night". Chicken tenders, one of the main staples of the business and they arent making any more for the night even though they still have almost 2-1/2 hours before closing? So I order something else besides spicey chicken and order shrimp. Now do you think I would have been offered dipping sauce for any of it, nope! Or how about an apology because there wasnt any more spicey chicken, nope. And talk about attitude, it was like the girl serving me was being told that she was going to pay for the meal. Well long story short, dont waste your time going to this place and expecting good food, the food you want or expecting good customer service. And if this note gets to anyone who cares or has ties to popeyes, I would tell you that the manager needs training and that one girl needs to find another job where she doesnt associate with people. This coming from a manager and restaurant worker.

I had the misfortune of visiting this Popeyes(677 North DuPont Highway Dover DE) on Monday 2/23/15 @ 6:00 PM. I encountered a severely disgruntled employee. He was beyond rude and impolite...he was a down right piss poor excuse of a human being!!! I politely asked for him to separate my order into 2 bags; at which time he became borderline maniacal!!!! The manager had to restrain this man (child) from jumping over the counter!!! It is pathetic when one lacks etiquette and self control...especially on the job!!!! Lady Luck was truly on his side. For if my husband would have been present, the outcome of this situation would have been COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!! However to avoid any future encounters with this horrible, deplorable, piss poor, excuse of a human being...I will never patronize this establishment again...or at least until he is terminated!!! There are many other places to eat at and be merry that provides wonderful service...unfortunately Popeyes is not among them. Although this is fast food, there is no need to be rude!!! Please rid your organization of the scum that stains your company!!!

Went there to purchase the magnolia chicken dinner at the drive thru. Waited a while for someone to respond. Then told that they were out. Asked if they could replace that special with something else and was told just order something from the menu. Went inside to ask for the number of the store, not the phone number. At that point the mgr abruptly told me that the special is over. I in turn told her that the special is still posted on the sign. Her smart ass ass response was I am not tall enough to take it down. There wasnt anyone in the store. I have 25 years in the food and beverage industry. She disgraced the company and the store. I will never return there again. Will be posting my experience on Yelp and on Facebook. I will also contact corporate to let them know.

Went drive thru, placed 3 orders. 2 adults (spicy chicken with mashed potatoes) 1kid (non spicy with mashed potatoes) Came home. No mashed potatoes, adult meals were mild. Kids meal had 1 spicy tender. Seriously? what incompetent cannot get this right. Called right away and talked to a manager. He told me he was the manager and also put my meal together..... Way to go bro!!^^ Even my lemonade was watered down. Atleast the daytime manager made up for his incompetence. But will still never return to the worst popeyes ive ever been to. If that night manager is a manager, then that reflects on the person the made him a manager.

Generally have a good experience but this last time I went ordered a sweet tea and was given a small cup, upon asking the cashier I was informed "It doesnt matter price is the same between soda and tea it doesnt matter cups all that is different" I felt that was very rude considering it was a to go order so now here I sit typing this from my desk, with my Luke warm sweet tea from a paper cup that I cant even refill with water when Im done.

A couple nights ago waited over 40 min to get my order went again tonight a whole 45 min before close but sold out of this and that a customer should be able to get what they want the manager rude as hell then I call asking for corporate its I dont have the number handy trash service completely unacceptable every time its were about to close or we dont have this or that all because people are lazy extremely poor customer service

Order the food thru drive thru odered 2 5pc chicken nugget and 2 sides of cole slaw. Paid and had to pull over behind another car and wait for it to be prep. Woman ran it out to our car after a 10 min wait. Had to go back to get the ranch we ask for with chicken tenders. Not a place to go if your on a time limit.
