The Coopersburg Diner is a typical small town diner, which means that customers can expect things they wont find in other resturaunts. For example, The Coopersburg Diner has a huge menu selection, unlike other, more corporate eateries that have pared down their selections; likewise, they tend to serve large portions of good, solid comfort food. Unfortunately, service at The Coopersburg Diner can also be very "small town." Sometimes, it feels like neither the wait staff nor the management can see beyond the very small horizon of Coopersburg, treating customers as if there werent hundreds of other eating choices only a few miles away. Here are two tips: Call in your take out order; take out orders seem to be fairly safe. Also, DO NOT eat at The Coopersburg Diner within an hour of their posted closing time; at that time, the staff seems more interested in pre-closing the resturaunt than actually serving customers.

The Coop in our opinion is the best diner in Lehigh Valley. You get friendly service, great food, and welcoming atmosphere. The servers are always moving but still have time for a friendly smile and small chit chat. The food is always hot and cooked just right. A suggestion to those with crispy bacon or overcooked sausage, let them know and theyll redo it. I always ask for soft bacon because its crispier than I like though my husband loves it. Some of our favorites are the Triple Play breakfast, the cream of chicken orzo soup, the 309 burger, the wiz burger, and their coffee. Their coffee in my opinion is some of the best served around the area. If youre in the area give them a try.

One of the best of the few remaining quality, family owned and operated diners in the Upper Bucks/Southern Lehigh area. True Diner without the kitch. Portions are ample, quality and selection of food is outstanding, salad bar is very well done [not the logs and massive chunks of veggies often found at diner salad bars], and the service personell are genuinely pleasant, courteous and attentive. Simply the BEST. They do close at 9 or 10 so not an all night place.

They always say when visiting a small town, look for the diner with all the cars. The Coopersburg Diner is no exception -- and its hard to find a parking spot especially on Sunday Mornings. They have the best SOS (er.., chip beef) around. We like it on well done home fries and it is terrific. The menu is loaded with choices, but they also make a good eggs Benedict (which isnt on the menu, but ask for it). Prices are reasonable and service is prompt.

The service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We were seated quickly, waited on quickly, got our check quickly. The only reason I gave four stars instead of 5 is that there werent really many vegetarian options. I got a veggie burger, which was sufficient. It was a MorningStar Farms veggie Burger, which wouldnt have been my choice of veggie burger. But the fries were great and the service was so nice that I didnt mind too much.

Better than average diner with very friendly service. I ordered a Reuben that was a good size, substantial but not huge. Leave room for dessert. I had the baked on location Apple pie, and it was very nice with large crisp chunks of Apple. The coffee was a little weak for me, but is a mere quibble for what was a good diner lunch. The parking lot is also great for large vehicles ( I had a trailer in tow).

One of the best places in the area! The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast. The staff is always nice and fast. The prices are reasonable too. I love the salad bar and the french onion soup. The only thing I would change is the bathroom, too small. We travel from Allentown, not that it is far..but goes to show how much we love this place. Great place for families!

This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to PA from Phoenix and it left me craving for more. Food is a notch above diner fare. Wait staff and manager was very friendly. Dont let the dessert prices scare you...you are getting what you pay for, a home-made-on-site pie or cake thats a mountain, not a mole hill...very tasty, too. Definitely recommend.

Bad cheap food..... Been going there for years this last year horrible.. I understand the economy is not great who is cooking and skimping now???? I would rather pay the extra dollar .. Salad bar is not the same , rolls are cheap, meat is dried out quality is not there... sad always loved this diner... If you read this (owners) please go back to the way it was.

There were waaaay too many options on the menu, but the service was super friendly and attentive and the food was extremely good when I finally decided! The portion sizes were rather large too! I dont think the locals see many groups of tattooed people though. We got a lot of stares from the other patrons upon our arrival haha.

Do not eat here unless you want to be ill. My boyfriend had lunch there today and has been ill all day/night following. He had the Caesar wrap and the salad bar and has been sick all day since. He also mentioned that it was very busy there and the service was slow/poor.

The staff here is excellent. The food was delicious and the service was super fast and superb. I recommend anyone in the area or even driving through to stop in and enjoy the food. Make sure you get Nikki to serve you. She provides excellent service.

I come for breakfast every week and the service is great! Lunches are very filling and their burger is huge. Great place for breakfast or lunch. (Not a fan of the bacon - only gave it 1 chance and it was way too crispy. Almost seemed like they fried it)

If youre tired of going to diners that have half of your food pre-made and served cold then try the Coopersburg Diner. There always seems to be at least a bit of a wait to get in but once seated the service is quick friendly and perfectly executed.

Special menu read Stuffed Chicken breast parmesan. Disappointed it was those frozen chicken Barber brand breasts I can buy from Giant. Salad bar , nice waitress & fabulous chocolate mousse cheesecake moved this review to 3 stars.

Extremely crowded for a Tuesday. Food ok. Waitress a thumbs down. Maybe she had a bad day. But she was not pleasant at all. Looking for pleasant staff and good diner food, check out Plain and Fancy in Quakertown

The food was pretty good. It was crowded but we didnt have to wait more than 5 min. It was a little unorganized upon entering. You didnt know who to give your name to and employees were talking over each other.
