Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and sat immediately. I saw food and previously used paper mats under the table from the previously served and disregarded. Although when I ordered coffee, I went to put cream into it and noticed two (2) used creams left in the bowl. So my impression of the restaurant from the beginning was not that good as far as cleanliness. The order was taken, however, our server never gave a name and seemed upset the whole time waiting on us (Very short, not social and did not ask or offer anything other than asked). When I asked to see if crayons were available as we forgot ours in the hotel, the server seemed bothered by the request. Our bread was served about five (5) minutes before our breakfast came out so was cold by the time our food arrived. I ordered another side so I could eat warm toast with my eggs. Food was average, although food portions were generous. I felt there was not much flavor to the homefries or pancakes we ordered. Real maple syrup would be nice if offered or carried, makes a big difference to taste of food. Received the bill and noticed the English muffin my wife ordered instead of toast was an up charge as that is not a big deal. What is a big deal is it was not mentioned to us while ordering ($2.25 difference). Unfortunately my family was not a fan of the experience or the food and will not be back. I would rather pay more money for the quality of food and not the quantity. It could have been a one time bad experience but first impressions are important to us.

Let me fist start by saying that this place is not for everyone. If you consider yourself to be a foodie then dont go here. If you want simple fare then this is the place for you. This was far and away one of the best restaurant experiences that I have had in a long time. The food was magnificent and well priced. My wife and I shared the meat sampler and we have agreed that that sample MUST be part of our last meal on earth (whenever that may be). There was a moment when we each felt that we were back in ouir grandmothers kitchens while eating the kielbasa. The decor can be best described as "country kitsch" with the wood paneling and the big pink pig. There is a gift area with wood puzzles and travel games I remember from road trips as a child. I loved every minute of it The service was warm ad friendly. We were welcomed immediately and sat straight away. Our waitress was very attentive and as we were visiting the area she even helped with some suggestions for places for dinner. All in all this was a great place to eat and we will be going there again.

Terrible experience!!! We have been to this restaurant at least 10 times over the past several years. Today, we left wondering if they are under new manage because it was such a different experience. 1. A long hair on the crust left on the dirty coffee mug they game me 2. Entirely salt-free grits 3. Assuming the buttermilk biscuit was frozen and not home made, and it came cut in half and fried (???) 4. Chipped beef with only a few specks of beef 5. No maple syrup, only corn syrup products. They clearly no longer care about quality and the service was par, at best...avoid at all costs.

I stopped there today just for coffee and it was $ 2.45 just for 2 cups of coffee free refill?? for another 3 or 4 bucks you can buy a can of coffee and have 100 cups of coffee.and breakfast can be a bit high just for eggs and h/f or bacon. they serve it to you in the pan they cook it in which is ok but what food is in the pan would fit on a plate they just leave it in pan to make it look like more food. dont let the looks fool you. I give it 3 stars. foods ok but coffee is way over price.

Came here for breakfast today with my girlfriend. Our servers name was Danny, and he was EXCELLENT! Everyone here is so nice.W got the Big Bad Wolf Combo, which we shared. It was sooooo good. Large portions and fast too. Of course everything came served in pans which I loved, some people expect the pan to be the same one theyve cooked the food in, but I dont think thats very good for the long run. Anyway, no complaints, seriously. Definitely recommend this place.

Visiting Kalahari with family and decided to take a break from the water park to get some food. So glad we bumped into this place. First off the food is delicious and served to you in a pan! The coffee is also good and strong. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. If youre in the Poconos area and want a hearty tasty country style breakfast this is the place to go. I also got a bacon egg and cheese on a roll to go before heading home which was also amazing.

Went there yesterday for breakfast and had a good experience 4 stars, good good and service. Saw biscuits on the menu and decided to come back the next day for take out, couldnt stop thinking of how they were gonna be.. Went today, got back to my room for an awesome breakfast of sausage biscuits and gravy....no gravy, REALLY..I guess no checking of meals for take out...off to a crappy start. Check your take out meals because they dont. Real shame.....

We ate there on a Wednesday morning with no crowd to compete with. The service was very friendly and fast. The portions were very big and the kids loved how it was all served in skillets, The food was good, my kelbosi was a little over done but overall we enjoyed it. We attempted to count all the statues, pictures and paintings of pigs throughout the place... an impossible task!

We stopped this a.m. and it was DELICIOUS. Breakfast served in skillets and served all day,. Very big portions, super friendly waitress, very clean and welcoming environment. The waitress even asked if we wanted her to take a pic of us since our mother was trying to take one. If we are up by the wolf lodge again we will definitely be stopping there again.

This place was a rip off. Overpriced bad food. The food was not good, no flavor.. The burgers are overpriced and flavourless. Forced 18% tip for basic service. ($13). AVOID THE SAUSAGE GRAVY AT ALL COSTS. IT WAS TERRIBLE. I honestly felt robbed eating at this place. I was better off eating the crappy food at Kalahari. Would have came out cheaper too.

Great breakfast, real comfort food. We went here while staying the Great Wolf Lodge nearby, and the food and ambience were great. What stands out is that they serve breakfast in the pan that you then directly eat out of, which is kind of unique. The kids really enjoyed the eggs and pancakes. I had the breakfast wrap that Id recommend.
