After reading reviews about a good gluten free menu, I called into the restaurant to see what they had to offer after not being able to find it online. When I asked if there was a way to view the gluten free options, the person on the phone, clearly irritated about during her job, aggressively stated "theyre marked! theyre marked!" .... I said, "oh, well I cant seem to find it anywhere online." After she realized the options are only on the printed menus there, she quickly read off 3 items "dip, salad, chicken" (what an entire chicken just sitting on a plate?.. thanks for the details) she abruptly followed up with "WELL what are you even looking for?" I began to end the conversation, but couldnt even finish my sentence before she hung up. I dont expect my hand to be held in making my decision for dinner, and I can even understand if she was busy, but there was no need for the aggressive tone and rudeness. That is no way to make me feel welcomed to your restaurant. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

This review is for our wedding, which we had in the Valley Top Ballroom (upstairs). All around it was a great decision to have our wedding here, especially with it being decorated for the holidays. Our guests were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the ballroom was (see GAP photos) and the venue was the perfect size for 80-120 people. Service was excellent. We worked mostly with Geri and she was friendly, honest, and worked with any special needs we had for that day. Kim (our venue coordinator that night) and Mike (head chef) also did a great job. Everyone enjoyed the food and the beef tenderloin was a big hit. We did buffet style, with the salad being plated ahead of time and it went very smoothly (we had a little over 80 people). One other thing we really liked (if you have a family of drinkers like us) is that we werent limited to 2 or 3 beers or wines. Basically what was available downstairs was upstairs too.

I come here for Quizzo on Wednesday nights. The Quizzo guy is awesome. Best Quizzo anywhere. Unfortunately this location doesnt come close to the quality of the game. The hostess is incredibly rude and huffy. I understand a bad night but she is consistently angry, literally dropping menus on the table and yelling at customers who mistakenly seat themselves (it should be noted there is no hostess station so its easy to assume the bar area is "seat yourself"). The wait staff is nice enough but they arent very familiar with the beer list or very quick. The food is ok, though the menu could use some more vegetarian options. The room is actually pretty nice with lots of room and attractive wooden floors and a fun pub-like atmosphere. If you are looking for a relaxing drink or fun week night activity you should check this place out, but I wouldnt reccomend coming here for a good meal or service.

Ive only been to the bar once for St. Patties day and it was a great time but my wife and I actually ended up having our wedding there. I do not regret it one bit. We were originally having it at the Manayunk brewery but that was the week/year it got flooded and a week before the wedding the accommodated us and were awesome with everything (plus alot cheaper without the Philly tax). It was a buffet style but the cook was amazing and was there until it ended making sure everything was perfect and everyone loved the food. Most may not think of it for a wedding but its was perfect for a laid back casual wedding we wanted(not saying it couldnt be used for a more formal wedding, the ballroom is very nice and had a lot more to offer than we even used). Great place and thankyou.

My first experience here I thought it was a great experience and so I decided to have a happy hour for my Birthday. As we where having drinks and I thought the Bar Manager was a pretty cool guy, I was wearing my baseball cap backwards and He instructed me to turn my hat to the front. I was like are you serious. He was very serious. In all my years in going to bars & restaurants, I have never encountered this situation. I was the bigger professional and gave my money to this ignorance and turn my hat around for the sake of the crew to not be a spoiler. That Manager was very unworthy of his job and the restaurant really looks bad behind his ignorance. True story. Since when is it unAmerican to wear your hat to the back? Great happy hour bad Bar manager.

night bar service was terrible. shots are served in a plastic ranch cup. they serve knockoff redbull through the soda lines and charge you premium price. mixed drinks were too strong or too light worst bartenders ive ever dealt with unfortunately. immature and inexperienced "WHAT DO YOU WANT?".. are you guys twelve? no wonder why half the bar was yelling at both the upstairs and downstairs bars because you guys couldnt seem to get it right. at all. half a glass of foam with beers, and dropping drinks on patrons, then getting mad at them? what? if youre the owner and are reading this, fire the staff and hire new bartenders if youre looking for a place around town, literally go anywhere but here.

Three and a half stars. This place has very decent pub food, but at night on Fridays and Saturdays, this place is a meat market. During the day, fine - check the place out! At night, its a different story. I mean... if you LIKE collar-popping tools, moronic meatheads, and/or vapid chicks, go for it! If not, get ready for a headache. Its a shame too, because the demographic here used to be decent, even at night. Now, its become what Spamps was on weekend nights two years ago - and thats not good. (Dont even get me started on Spamps.)

First time going there and although the scenery was nice i felt thats basically what i paid for. Some appetizers are very pricy for the portions u get. The service was good but the food did not come close to my expectations. I ordered the Cajun style chicken sandwich, way over seasoned very salty, and they literally just give u the chicken and a plain bun with some sauce on the side a slice of pockle with a piece of lettuce, no cheese no onions no tomato. Prabably never go back to dine anyway.

We recieved great service, except someone ordered an appetizer for dinner and they brought it early. Then a big party arrived. After that, no drinks, only some food, and an occasional "how are thing going" check-in. No managers on duty, but after complaining, they sent a bartender, then another server over, mostly to tell us they were there to "keep it civil". Come here to make other restaurants seem better by comparison.

We had a great lunch outside. They were so kind to accommodate our dogs too. I had the fish tacos- very tasty, my daughter had a plain stromboli, fiance and family went more traditional Italian dishes with the drunken shrimp etc. Parking was easy and the smaller plate size on the dishes for lunch was a nice option. We will be coming again. Thank you!
