The food here is solid. All of the food is made to order, so plan your visit accordingly. The service is basically self-serve after the food is brought from the kitchen. The atmosphere is comfortable, though I dont know how well the establishment can support large groups. While I didnt go in to check for rails, the bathroom is on the first floor and appears to be handicapped accessible. There is an outdoor seating area, and indoor seating area, and another seating area upstairs that we didnt check out. There is both on-street parking and a lot with meters. Now, for the food! We went on a Thursday for 50¢ wings — they are the pieces, not full wings. We tried the Memphis Dry Rub, Pumpkin, Rootbeer, and Butter & Garlic. The Memphis Dry Rub and Pumpkin were both on point, 5★. While the Rootbeer was also 5★, it wasnt a stand-out flavor. The Butter and Garlic was on the bland side. The garlic flavor was mild, like they didnt sautée any of the minced garlic in the butter to infuse the garlic flavor. Id rate it as 3.5★. If you like light, fluffy cornbread, their cornbread is for you. We werent overly fond of the cornbread since my husband and I both prefer heavy, dense cornbread. I really love poutine and was excited to see it on the menu. I was a bit disappointed with it when it arrived. The fries really werent warm, the gravy was starting to congeal, and the curds werent melted. I prefer a poultry-beef mixed gravy or straight-up beef gravy on my poutine, whereas they serve their poutine with poultry gravy. The poutine tasted good with the wings but I wont be ordering them again. If you look at the photos, you can see they have a respectable craft beer list for Mon Valley. I wanted to drink cheap, and a $1.50 16oz Yuengling fit the bill quite well. My husband got Tröegs Nimble Giant. I cant tell you how much that was because the cashier, while nice, was really confused about whats a craft beer, what isnt, and how much the craft beers cost.

I have had BBQ in many different places, mostly throughout the Carolinas, who claim to have "the best". I have had experiences in the Eastern NC Vinegar based BBQ region, The upstate Mustard Based BBQ region and many along the BBQ Trail in between. Fourth St has your typical BBQ feel an atmosphere. Which was welcoming in SW PA. Now down to the business, I had a pork platter as well as a small order of brisket. Both were very good. I also had slaw and mac and cheese. The slaw was course and lightly dressed, which is a matter of personal preference. While I like course, I would have liked to have seen a little more dressing in the slaw. The mac and cheese was exactly what youd expect from a BBQ. The weak spot of 4th Street was the presentation of the sauce. You must order your sauce with your meal. I have never seen this, and you must ask to try sauce. There is a charge for extra, to me this is crazy. Every BBQ I have ever been to has either had all sauces at a condiment station or all sauces bottled at the table for your use as needed. To me BBQ is about the sauces and this is where 4th Street is lacking. I had Carolina vinegar and Carolina Mustard which were both excellent. And I did try the Brown Sugar and it was sweet for my liking. All in all it was a good experience, I would recommend to others. Hopefully they will see this and change their mind on the sauce presentation!

Definitely not a typical small town restaurant in a Monongahela River town. The food and atmosphere are more East End of Pittsburgh. Starter options are all good from the fries with toppings to the nachos with meat of your choice. The variety of main courses can work for even the pickiest of diners. I went with the pulled pork while others in our group tried brisket and the ribs. All solid options. The list of brews from smaller local breweries were fun. We also shared some desert which included a version of cornbread.

We went with a party of 6 and had reservations. Seated right away. Our server was great and didnt keep us waiting for anything. I got the two meat combo ($10) ribs and brisket. There were not a lot of ribs, but there was a ton of brisket. Also, with the meal I got two sauces on the side. The wife and I split a large fry, which was really good. All the food was great! They also had about 10 craft beers up on the wall to choose from.

Food is terrific, best wings around. Would be 5 stars, but our last visit on 6/20 had the poorest server weve had. Walked away from the table in the middle or ordering drinks, brought the wrong drink, walked away again before I could order something different, and were told she was roo busy with 3 tables to take our order yet. But that was only one time, out of numerous trips. It is highly recommended.

Great food! The first time we went there we had gotten tacos, the service was a ok for how busy they were and the food was great. The second time we had gotten takeout. It was so fresh. We all got the 4th St sandwiches. They put the sauce on the side so the food didnt get soggy, much appreciated! The coleslaw was very fresh and crisp. Definitely will be our local favorite for eat in and takeout.

Great food and service. Tuesday is taco night and Thursday is wing night. There are lots of beer selections and you can sample most of them. And Hoho cake!! What more could you ask for? Just had the nachos and they are to die for. They are half off on Taco night too. I really love this place!!!

Informal, pleasant, small-town mix of sports bar and Cheers-like ambience. Great selection of meat sauces and craft beers. On-site state of the art cookery and smoker for BBQ. Meats are well-cooked, moist and falling off the bone. Excellent side dishes.

1rst time I was there the pulled pork sandwich was Super greasy and the fries were cold. I asked for hot fries. They came back no better. I figured chalk it up to a bad day. 2nd time. Pork sandwich was dripping grease and yet again, cold fries.

Our favorite local go-to. We have yet to leave disappointed. The variety of sauces and meat combinations are great. Their chicken wings are smoked and our personal favorite. The servers are friendly and attentive. Gotta try them out!

I like to think I am a bit of a BBQ snob and this definitely met my standards. I had the brisket and pork belly. The brisket was a little cold but the taste was great. The pork belly was fantastic

Great wings and great prices for wing night. Craft beers on draft are little pricey and dont trust the tap board haha. We went and it was all screwed up but drink up its beer either way
