Wouldnt even give it one star. So unorganized and rude staff that has no clue what is going on or any knowledge on customer service. If you dont go to panera often, dont go to the one in chambersburg because you will be expected to know everything. My bagel was left sitting on a counter thats not even a pickup counter on a crummy plate that looked like it had half eaten food on it and I was told it was mine after asking 3 people. Also, it was incredibly unclear where to pick stuff up at so if you like organization, getting your food in a timely manner, and being the only person who eats off of your plate, dont go to panera. Cross the street and spend your money at chick fil a where they know good customer service.

I want to love this place because we usually have good experiences with Panera. This has to be a management problem. After several visits I finally decided to write a review. The staff is just unfriendly and lazy. Whether they are slow or jammed with business, they are always out of coffee in the Hazelnut urn, and the Half & Half creamer is always empty. The last visit, it was actually a manager waiting on us and his attitude just stunk. I guess that explains it. Ive had them mess up our order about 50% of the time. When weve had bagels coming to us for free from our Panera loyalty cards, they refuse to heat it or give you any butter. Weve learned our lesson and will just spend our money elsewhere.

I visited the Panera in Charmbersburg Mall yesterday evening. Had dinner with a friend. We talked for hours. As we were about to leave. I was going to buy bread. About that time a group of teenagers entered as I was standing at the bread area. The casher began taking the kids orders. I walked up to the manger and asked if someone could help me. He told me there was a line. It is import to note this was about 9:30pm the place was empty. Three cashers were talking to each other, wile the manger was looking around. He said there is a line!!!! That is the last I ever visit a Panera. The sloppy fat slob, that called himself a manger cost Panera a good customer.

I dont normally choose Panera Bread for a meal. My visit today reminded me why. The food was fine. Fine. However, in its entirety it was not what I ordered. My sister, whom came with me, also found an error in her order. Where she requested chips, she instead received an apple. How they confused the two is beyond me. Where I asked for half a sandwich and a cup of soup I got a sandwich and bread. Admittedly, they were busy at this time. Overall, I was disappointed, as was the rest of my family.

This location always provides a positive experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. When I want to make changes to how a sandwich comes, they never seem to mind, and it is always made correctly. Coffee is always fresh, and iced coffee is great. Clean dining g area, and pretty landscaping outside, well maintained.

If you look up what youre eating beforehand you will be astounded at the high sodium content! A bowl of mac n cheese is 2200 mgs! The cold meat sandwiches are also high in sodium. Its about prevention folks! I have written comments about it on the FB page without any replies

I ordered on the go and when I got there my drinks were water downed.. your not supposed to make the drinks tell the person gets there. I know this bc I have worked fast food before. And 2nd my bread looks like it was half eaten before I even got to touch my food.

Once, the dinkiest pickle came with my sandwich and I was really looking forward to said pickle. Seriously. Otherwise, this is a decent Panera location if one can stand the traffic in this area because it can be chaotic at times.

Had the Tomato Mottzerella Flatbread and the steak and cheese panini, they were inedible. It was like microwaved canned tomatoes on old bread with a gallon of oil. The "steak" was just too disgusting to eat.

This was busy place on Sunday morning. I was impressed with the service and the place was kept clean. My friend and I enjoyed a nice relaxing time while we talked drank coffee and enjoyed a pastry.

This is one of the nicer paneras I have been to. Tons of seating, where the line accumulates is a bit awkward, it backs right into the entry way. This is a solid choice if you are in the area.
