Having lived in Chambersburg, I found Nathan Miller chocolate to be a great place to stop for a coffee. They have wonderful pastries as well. The chocolate is very good, a little pricey but he is going bean to bar right there in the shop, so its understandable. HOWEVER, my recent experience, after having moved away and trying to place an order that also deserves noting. I tried to order the dark chocolate collection online. There was no way to put anything in the basket. The website was not working correctly. I sent an email.I called the store. I was able to place my order over the phone with apparently no problems. I ordered the dark chocolate collection and requested two day shipping. She told me it would be there by Friday. Great. No problem. I received an email the following day that the website had been fixed and the package would arrive Friday. Friday, no package. Saturday, no package. I called the store. It may be seven days they then told me because it had been ground shipped. (?????) The following Tuesday. No package. I called the store again and instructed that the store phone was not to be used for orders. So apparently it was OK when they were taking my money but not too resolve issues. I asked for a tracking number. None was given. I did not receive a return call text or email with the tracking number. The person for whom the package was intended called Wednesday when again, no package had arrived. He was told I was given a tracking number and that again the store phone was not to used for orders. He asked if someone would give a return call or when someone would present to resolve the issue. He was informed this was not possible. He sent an email. The response said if I had wanted two day shipping I would have had to pay 25$. And he was given a tracking number. The intended recipient sent a copy of the email stating the package would arrive Friday sent by Nathan Miller chocolate back. Not once, in this entire process did anyone attempt to resolve this issue. Instead they blamed me. Its now been ten days from the order date and we have no package. No matter what condition that chocolate arrives in, it will not taste good after this experience. And to be certain, I will not be visiting the store or ordering online again.

Organic homemade chocolate and european style deserts including dark chocolate covered eclaires and schnapps infused black forest cake. This is the place to order all your birthday cakes. And this is on top of your prosciutto paninis, mozarella salad or duck rilette. You would expect to find this exquisite pastry shop in Bethesda but is in your back yard in Chambersburg in an elegant industrial design building next to Roy Pitz brewery. Owners and staff are very friendly, attentive and open to suggestions. Bottom line is if you think quality chocolate and deserts then you go to Nathan Miller.

Ive been there a total of two times now and both times were great experiences. Today, I was able to go to a tasting where Nathan came out and personally talked with us and walked us through the flavor profiles of his chocolate. He encouraged questions, and was very humble, personable, and friendly. I would definitely suggest stopping in and picking up some chocolate, homemade marshmallows and meringues. Its such a great atmosphere, with equally great products!

If you are tired of overly sweet concoctions full of strange ingredients then look no further. Nathan Miller chocolate embodies genuine chocolate artisanship with balanced bitters and sweets and nutty profiles (particularly the dark chocolates). And chocolate isnt all youll find here! Relax with a pastry or crème brûlée made with flavors and textures that express European roots and an espresso or tea to finish the treat.

Best coffee (I mean the drink, not the atmosphere) in town, compared to C&C, Big Oak Cafe, and of course much better than the chain starbuckspaneradunkindonuts. The chocolate is superb, the desserts amazing (try the creme bruleé!), and the atmosphere is great! When you step into this place, you get the feeling of, "Wait, are we actually still in Chambersburg?" And I mean that in the best way possible.

My first order was online to California, i was nervous about ordering chocolate to a meltable location (its been 108 degrees here lately) but it arrived and wasnt melted! I got the buttermilk collection. I had never heard of buttermilk chocolate and thought it would be a nice treat, it surpassed my expectations. The salt and wafer was excellent. Since then Ive tried the dark collection,

Im sorry for the reviewer who had a bad ordering experience, but my experience was in-person and it was fabulous. Lovely place, lots of hand made items, not only chocolate, but even the paper wrapping is hand-made paper. The decor is also very well done, a nice mix of the old and the new. Great chocolate, espresso, creme brulee, eclairs....

Hard to find place, but well worth it. Took my girlfriend here for a coffee date and definitely coming back. We had a marshmallow latte and a caramel latte with a homemade caramel Crème brûlée. It is located inside the old Chambersburg Hosiery factory, but has been updated where needed to be aesthetically pleasing.

Ive been here quite a lot, whether to hang out or enjoy some coffee and chocolate. The baristas are always friendly and are willing to hold conversations with customers and answer any questions you might have. The chocolate and coffee are all made in-house and taste phenomenal. :)

This shop features chocolate related candies and desserts as well as breakfast items. It is a fun place to visit and the staff is helpful. However, it is a rather pricey place and you need to pay close attention if you are picking up several items.
