I have been a member of BJs Wholesale Club for over a year now. I joined because they were building the BJs in Gainesville. The Gainesville location is easy in and easy out with a great parking. I find it faster for me to run into BJs than for me to run into Giant. A big plus is that the lines are almost always non-existent, which was an issue for me at Costco. The Gainesville store doesnt have the clothing and books section like the other BJs, which is kind of a bummer, and the produce is okay, but not great. Otherwise, the deli counter is great, and everything else is as expected. Id recommend BJs if your looking for a wholesale club.

As a long time Costco member, I was first hesitant to join BJs, but its proximity to my home was too hard to resist. This place is great! They are very competitively priced, like Costco, but they also offer excellent sliced deli and propane exchange, not offered at Costco. The gas station is alway the cheapest around, and if you get their MC, which rewards a whopping 5% at your store purchase, you get another $0.10 off the gas as well. I am still a Costco member, but I definitely shop at BJs a lot more. I strongly recommend this place.

Not as big a store so not as much selection as Fairfax, but they do have things that I like. People are friendly and helpful and the store is clean. Milk prices are the best, gas prices are good, they have rotisserie turkey breasts and chickens (really good) and a good deli. The bakery is not as big as Costco, but they do have a nice selection and are my go-to spot for church coffee hour supplies. Vegetables are in reasonable sizes and have been good quality. Ready to eat meal selections are also good.

disorganized, very short return policy, very bad customer service. when they called me few months ago, first they said return plicy is 90 days, then they called again and said return anytime, but when you go to store they say it is only 30 days. I prefer Costco, because they are honest with thier clients. Shame on BJ !! just tell the truth to your clients. You have every right to set your own return policy, but just tell the truth before people sign up for memberships.

The employees there were very nice and willing to help out. I like the simplistic inventory of the store in general. Their headphones selection was dissapointing to me however. I wasnt convinced they would have a good selection, and my mom told me they had quite a few. So i decided to take a look and none of them were gaming headsets like i was hoping for. Maybe i just didnt look in the right place though.

Only one cashier on duty. Several people in line. But the REAL problem is the coupons they use in their flyers are to product they do not have in the store. For instance; ice cream sandwiches, Colon Health. Last week it was BJS brand sliced cheese and butter. It happens over and over and many things are not carried in this location at all. Wish Sams Club would open nearby.

Its smaller than Fair Oaks BJs, the selection is not so great either. Havent had to return or interact with CS, so no feedback there. I have used their Optical Center and I wont go anywhere else EVER to purchase frames again. Heres hoping they come in and they are correct and I have no issues. But for now, BJs in Gainesville, VA is okay with me.

The selection is not as good as Costco BUT it is very convenient and fast in/out. The deli is very good and customer service is good. 90% of the time I shop there instead of Costco even though Costco is a few miles closer. I also like the food selection over Costco. Electronics is a wash as both have good selection.

Horrible selection, terrible customer service, expensive compared to Costco. Used a one-day pass coupon given to me in the mail-- coupon says wont be charged 10% surcharge for nonmembers. I was then charged the 10% and couldnt get a refund. Collusion. Horrible place will never buy a membership. Stick with Costco.

Love the convenience and quality of the products at this location. Cell phone Sales associates arent pushy, and the deli and cake department are always on top of things and extremely helpful! The cashier attendants are really welcoming and sincere as well, which is something you dont normally come by.

Yes, the BJs in Gainesville is much smaller than Fair Oaks, but they are never crowded and the staff is AWESOME!!! If there is a product they dont have you can let the management know and they may add it. I prefer BJs MUCH better than Costcos; Costcos is a nightmare, at least the one in Manassas is!

I love BJs Wholesale Club! I do all my shopping for the month all at once. Great prices on great products, and all in a one-stop shopping club. Gasoline at discounted prices, plus hundred of your everyday needs right there all under one roof. Why would you go anywhere else?

We shop at BJs once a week. Customer Service is always good. If you decide to go to the deli it may be a good in dea to wait when the line is short, the guys are always pleasant and personable. The produce is always fresh.

Has everything we need. Plenty of self checkouts. Terrific deli. Fresh food area has good variety and the produce has a longer shelf life than Costco. Fish is fresher than Costco. Takes competitors coupons. Friendly staff.
