Love LOVE this place!!! The mini cupcakes, and weeclairs are a PERFECT quick afternoon snack or dessert while you stroll the avenue of the arts. Bethany and Nick are super courteous folks who always chat with their customers-- considering theyre bakers, their personalities match their pastries-- warm and sweet! But the CAKES?? Ohhh the cakes! If you have an adventurous palate, you cant go wrong here-- Bethany invents the most amazing combinations of flavors, and always makes them yummy. Even combinations I havent enjoyed in other desserts-- like orange-mango, or chocolate-raspberry (yeah, Im weird, dont like that one usually) somehow become incredibly delicious! Bethany has a magic skill for the perfect blend so each flavor is complemented by the others. Oh! And the flourless gluten-free chocolate torte!!! YUM! Not to mention her cookies-- and brownie bars! Oh, its all good at Goodness Cakes, for goodness sakes!

My husband and I had Goodness Cakes do cupcakes and a cake for our reception just last week. We had 5 different kinds of cupcakes, and a delicious cake. The prices are really reasonable and you really get a lot of bang for your buck. Everyone was commenting on how good the cake and cupcakes were at our reception---and FUN! The owners are so friendly and really are helpful. Plus, they have other treats there like tarts, cake by the slice, brownies, and more. My favorite is the Raspberry Almond Tart...perfect for 2 or 3 people and only $5! My husband and I plan on going back there for any desserts we may want.

I am so super impressed and happy with this bakery. I called last minute and the owner was able to help me out with an order for my sons graduation party. She was so helpful and kind. The cupcakes were beautiful and beyond delicious. Everyone loved them and there wasnt a single one left. I probably could have ordered MORE!! I will absolutely always come back and look forward to ordering a cake. I will forever be grateful. Wonderful people.

My friend has been raving about this bakery forever so I finally got around to trying. I had the raspberry almond tart. It was ok. The edges were slightly burnt and the fruit to crust ratio was skewed in favor of crust. I also purchased the banana peanut butter cake. It also was just ok. The cake was moist but the flavor was heavily masked by the overly sweet frosting. Im not as enthralled as my friend so Ill be moving on.

Delicious! Owners are beyond nice and professional. Cakes are to die for and reasonably priced. I was able to order a 6 inch red velvet cake with personalized birthday message to pick up in less than 48 hours with no problem. The cake came out amazing and tasted even better. The recipe for their frosting must be a closely guarded secret - it is the best Ive ever had. They will definitely have all my cake business in the future!

I stopped in to Goodness Cakes by chance, looking to pick up a cake for by boyfriends birthday. Who knew that it would be the best cake that Ive ever eaten. Their buttercream is perfect- not too sweet- and their decorating is delightful. (My daughter just LOVES their mini cupcakes.) Goodness Cakes is a FANTASTIC addition to the neighborhood, and they are the only bakery that I will use from here on out.

Goodness Cakes made my wedding cake with only 3 days notice. The owners are friendly and helpful, and had a lot of pictures to choose from. The price was very reasonable, and my cake was beautiful and really, really good. We got lots of compliments on it. We went with the white vanilla cake with chocoate ganache filling. Amazing. Highly recommend this bakery!

Goodness Cakes absolutely made our wedding reception dessert table a hit. First, this was an awesome part of our wedding planning. The owners were very helpful, friendly and generous with samples! They offered to remake our wedding cake on our 1-year anniversary, which is coming up and theyre honoring that. I couldnt recommend Goodness Cakes enough.

Goodness Cakes is one of the best kept secrets in Rochester! I work down the street from the bakery and was so excited to see it open. Ive ordered many cakes for special events and every one was so impressed! My favorites are the little mini cupcakes and the nutella rice krispie treats! The owners are fantastic to work with and have a great business!

Highly recommended. My wife and I recently got married and ordered our cake from here. Goodness Cakes was extremely easy going and easy to work with. With all the stress of getting everything else ready, this was the easiest part. The cake looked great when we arrived at the reception and tasted just as good. We received many compliments.

Goodness cakes by far the best bakery in Rochester. They did my bridal shower and my wedding. Out of 80 cupcakes and a cake to serve 100 people there were no left overs. The owners are awesome to work with. I completely disagree also, wegmans cant even compete with goodness cakes.

I also completely disagree - you cannot get better cupcakes at Wegmans. I became a fan of Goodness Cakes after they made me a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake - they are wonderful.
