Good food, nice environment, curious service and too expensive. We walked in and everything seem nice the Decour was good, Music was festive. we walked past the bar and sat in the little restaurant area. We started to look at the menu and they brought us some water. The water was not on napkins and soaked the table. Not that big of a deal but for some reason I noticed. I started to check out the menu on my husband took a gander at the happy hour menu The waitress headset on the table with the others. We both picked out our food and drinks. When the waitress came back my husband started to order but she cut him off informing him that in order to order off of the happy hour menu, we had to sit in the bar on the other side of the little false wall. We looked at her and asked her if we could just continue sitting where we were since they werent very busy and it was just on the other side of the wall but she said no that she would get in trouble. So we got up and moved to another table. She never brought new water. We shared some fajitas, they were absolutely delicious. We both had sex on the beach drinks which were also outstanding and strong. The fajitas were very expensive. The drinks were off the happy hour menu but they were still five dollars apiece. The chips that they brought out were fantastic and fresh in the salsa was a little spicy but flavorful. The guacamole was a very small portion for $3.75 and that was the happy hour price. When we were eating, at the end of the meal, my husband asked me to not give them a poor review. I think it was because we really enjoyed the ambience and the food. The waitress had a nice personality though we could tell that she had us move because she wanted to clean the other area and it was close to closing time. It was a nice little restaurant though my husband said, "this wont be a Mexican restaurant in five years" he says that its a trendy location into trendy restaurant. I dont know if I agree. It was cool and tasty but they need a check on pricing.

Went in one hour before closing to get a quick bite. Was greeted right away and was asked where I would like to sit. I chose the bar. First off there were 2 glasses on the bar in front of me and the bar was wet. Since there was no bartender, I asked the server to please wipe the bar, since I already put my hand in it,and no response. Another server brought chips and salsa, asked her to wipe the bar and that didnt happen. So with dirty glasses, unwiped bar with no bartender and no drink, I decided to leave. Over 10 minutes have passed and I did not feel welcome at all. Would I come back? Probably not. Havent been back yet (4- 10) Maybe soon

Got a margarita and burrito. The margarita was good and as you would expect there are many varieties. The burrito was subpar. I would spend your money for mexican food at one of Portlands many food carts where the food is cheaper and ten times better. These style of restaurants make me feel like the food is frozen and then warmed up in an oven. The plate comes out to you at 200 degrees and is watery. The place was packed, so maybe people arent so picky after a couple margaritas. Go elsewhere.

I really like this place. Its not the setting that keep me coming back, its the stuff that matters... like really great service... a happy staff and really good food. Literally every time Ive been here, I could tell you a quick story about how I was impressed with the experience. Its not your gourmet foo-foo, dress up and look good kinda place... its your feel good, have fun, relax and smile experience. Location in old town West Linn is a bonus for fun weekend afternoon.

We happened to go there early, and still got very poor service. We were not checked again by the waitress, after we got the food; but for getting the bill. We never got our water and our order was mixed up. If you like cheap oozy American cheese in your mexican food, this is your place. About the best that could be said is that the food was ok and the salsa was decent. Hop over the river to Super Torta and get a great burrito (though it is a hole in the wall).

My daughter and son in law go here often and love this place! They have taken me there on several occasions and it is the best Mexican food! Dont know what the gripe was with drinks or the food because both are excellent. I think we forget there are different regions in Mexico therefore, different styles of cooking. Mexican food is my favorite and I have been to many restaurants in the Portland area. West Linn is lucky to have this restaurant!

Ive been here with my husband and I love the food. It reminds me very much of all the time I spent in Mexico. The food is delicious, melt-in-my-mouth, and very healthy portions. I appreciate the friendly staff, and I have never had to wait for a table, and the wait time is far shorter than I expected for such delicious food.

Went here once and food was good went there a second time and food was not good and very skimpy! Got the vegetable fajitas and was very disappointed. There was hardly any vegetables and the beans were maxed out with water!! No thanks I will spend my money at the many other good Mexican restaurants!

One of my favorite hangouts for Mexican food. Nice spot for date night margaritas as well as kid friendly lunch or dinner. Awesome service and the food is good enough to come back but its just not amazing or anything, which is why I didnt give 5 stars.

The service was slow and took a long time for drinks and food. My margraita didnt taste very good, and this is where Id give it a one star until I got my food. I had the crab enchiladas... Oh my goodness. Well worth the wait.

if i could give this company less than a star i would! it is terrible!! way over priced for not very good food. It was pretty basic mexican food, chips were store bought, and salsa was just plain. Very disappointed.

Excellent food, made very well with high quality ingredients!! Native Texan and can say that their Arroz, Carne Asada and Bistec Parilla are great. Not the largest of portions, but still plenty to fill one up!!

The steak tacos I got were great, but I sat at the bar which apparently they should just take out. I had one beer, waited forever until my server finally returned. No one works the bar.

Way too expensive for what you get, and you better watch what you order in the way of margaritas half the time they wont use the advertises the liquor stated on the menu,
