Stopped in for lunch last Thrusday ordered a turkey/pesto sandwich to go waited about 5 min and ate half the sandwich at work saved the rest for the morning for snack. By 6pm the next day Friday I was sick and sitting on the toilet for 30 minutes, I continued to be sick for 3 days with upset stomach and a lot of gas etc, The only food I ate out and different from my partner was this lunch to go, I called today to discuss this with a manger all I got was someone in the kitchen telling me to email my complaint even after I told him I believe I got food poisoning there, I will contact the health department Monday. Either their food is contaminated and not fresh or someone there handling the food is sick and the hand washing, cleanliness of everything is poor and not good

They play good music and have some decent looking food options, the coffee I had was good and I found a nice place to have a sitting/standing workstation to get some work done on my laptop. It seems like a lot of regulars go through here, Im sure there are quite a few customers from the businesses located throughout the Ford Building as a whole. The location is easy to get to from within SE Portland or even downtown, the Max train travels right through this neighborhood which makes it very convenient coming from any direction.

This cafe is is in the beautifully remodeled Ford Building on the corner of 11th and Division in SE Portland. The coffees is pretty good and so is the food, though the menu is a bit limited. It doesnt have the best seating for long hacking sessions (few tables, limited access to outlets, etc.), but the overall atmosphere is nice and fairly welcoming. Ford Food and Drink was ok. I visited there on a Saturday evening and was not greeted with a warm reception. I asked for a cup of coffee and was directed to a thermos and was handed a coffee cup. The coffee was cold and not the best. The staff was very uniterested in my being there that night. Anyway that is my perception of what happened there that night. I would go back again only if meeting some friends.

Im sure this place is great but my small experience turned me off. I ordered a pickle for my daughter and the man who was cashiering went to grab it with his bare hands after handling $ and went back to cashiering. We also ordered a single bisquit that took over 5 min to get although it was tasty, with all the coffee shops around, I will probably take my business elsewhere.

I love the old school cafe feel. For whatever reason, there is something nice about a place where you can get a cup of coffee, a pint of beer, or a glass of wine in the afternoon. Sometimes you want to grab a cheap glass of wine in the afternoon and you dont want to be hauled up at some bar. Portland need way more of these kinds of laid back places.

Nice spot overall, good location, well lit, nice vibe for studying or casual meet-up. Also good wifi. That being said, the staff is a bit aloof. They messed up my order and had not even the faintest hint of reticence. The soup was bland and overpriced. Whatever. Bottom line - Come here for the spot, not for the service or food.

I work upstairs and eat here regularly. The food is excellent, truly. For the money, its all the better. There are lots of events and the place is almost always busy, but not too busy. The various kinds of seating make it work for anything youll want to do. Still havent tried their cocktails, but I expect theyll be great.

This spot is fabulous to just hang out at, or to work from. Their staff is friendly, its spacious, they have good wifi, and the food is solid as well. Theres a large table in the hallway that you can rent out for large group gatherings. I saw some guys gathered to do art there last week, for instance. Very cool!

I love FFD because of the corner couches. If you get there on an early weekend morning (opens at 9), you can watch the world wake up from a cozy nook, removed from the path of travel. Its full but not crowded. Delicious Stumptown brew- you can settle in here for the long haul.

Im all for reclaiming local architecture, but the echo-y tile, uneven floor and dubious seating stretch this a little too far. On the plus side Ive had my best ever flavored mocha latte here. ...and learned the correct use of panini here (one panino, two panini, got it!)

Easily one of the best places to get coffee in SE. A great place to get a drink and sit back with a book; unless there is standup comedy, then it gets a bit too loud. Sometimes they have some really good live music. The place is definitely worth checking out.

Bagel and Chai Latte. This was a bacon and hummus sandwich on an onion bagel. The bacon is thick and well seasoned. The hummus had a smooth texture and a good flavor. The chai is their own blend with a nice cinamon accent on the latte.

Interesting location. Used to be an old ford dealership. The food was fine. The place was good for a meeting-especially in the second room which was a lobby for a building so people were walking by but overall a good place.

I took a large group there this summer. Staff served us quickly and there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy our beverages. Great location on Division street and great history at the Ford building.

A barebones, pseudo-art-deco coffee shop tucked into the old remnants of decayed industrial progress. Bottomless cups for $2 and fresh cookery every day. Grab a slice of toast and jam for $1.50

This is a nice place to chill out and have a cup of coffee, but I was a bit surprised by lack of electrical outlets in most of desks. I had an iced americano and grilled cheese and it was good.

Wish I could rate the offerings, but they were locked up during advertised hours with folks inside and no note on the door. Im not going to beg them to take my money, so I likely wont be back.

Best coffee shop for meeting with friends or getting work done. Ive spent days here before and the ambience is great to stay focused in. Good food, tea and wine and beer, friendly staff. A++

The staff are genuinely friendly and warm, the space is pleasantly designed and welcoming, and the newly blossoming neighborhood makes for exciting wandering about, too.

Nice environment and good food. I was there during breakfast and lunch this week but it looks like they have live music in the evening? Worth checking it out ;-)

Interesting music, decent cup of coffee, no BS WIFI connectivity, lots of space and not overcrowded. They serve Stumptown & have 50¢ day-olds, if youre lucky.

Enjoyed the space available to be creative. Then have large, highly raised tables with stools. But also some cozier options on either end.

Good sandwiches and coffee but super pricey. Yet another coffee shop that feels like you need to have a new Mac to enter.
