My family went here to celebrate my daughters birthday February 4th 2017.as we were being seated we saw some staff chanting the birthday song to another customer..my boyfriend told our waitress it was my daughters birthday and asked to really give her special attention..in a positive way, of course! She responded by asking what do you want to drink and " i know you just saw what we do here for birthdays and i dont get paid enough to even sing to her..I was shocked at the rudeness. After sitting there for 5 minutes or so our mood for celebration ruined we decided to go to olive garden instead..I would give this a zero but when we left we called the manager and she sincerely apologized and said she is fairly new to the area from Medford Oregon and that unfortunately our calling helps in evaluating her staff and offered to send gift certificates for us to revisit..well see..how unfortunate someone like this has made my daughters birthday meal and unpleasant memory..

my family and I live in Roseburg, Or. And for the longest we would go to Tom Toms restaurant off of gardenvalley. After tom toms closed it was really hard to find a place to get a good steak. Decided to go to Eugene and go see a movie and go out to eat.. we decided that we would try out Original Roadhouse grill. I have to say. The service was not bad and the food was absolutely remarkable. I got a 16 oz prime rib steak cooked mid-rare and it was cooked to perfection. My either half got the grilled salmon and it tasted great as well. The prices are not too bad and the drive was well worth it. I have found my new favorite place to eat. We will definitely be going back. If your passing through Springfield, Or. And looking for some great food. Its a good family restaurant. The kids loved eating the peanuts and live even more they got to drop the shells on the floor.

The place has an overall griminess to it. From the broken urinal and inoperative towel dispenser in the mens room to the tables and dishware that look spent and well past needing replacing. When I went in the place was about a third full but the waitress seemed too busy to actually come over and take my order or even offer water for 5-6 minutes after my arrival. I added a beer to my food order and again the waitress seemed more interested in gabbing with the hostess at the front door than just filling the order. Im not sure why I didnt just get up and leave. I guess I was just waiting to see what else could would happen during this sad excuse for a $19.00 lunch.

Use to be my favorite restaurant. This review stems from 2 years of visits with bad experiences. The cheap burger is LESS tasty than a fast food joint and you know it from the moment it hits the table. My medium rare steaks have been sent back from being purple and raw in the middle-it was obvious no meat thermometer was used or they would have known that my steak was nowhere near 165 degrees. I actually have stopped going all together because Applebees next door prepares a delicious consistent steak for less cost!

Sometimes, you just need meat... even in Eugene/Springfield! When the need arises, Roadhouse is one of the few steakhouses in town and fortunately it is pretty good. We typically eat off of the "Little Less" menu which saves a few bucks and is still plenty of food. I also come here often with co-workers and have an all you can eat soup & salad. Service is welcoming and generally pretty quick. I would assume it is a decent place to work because I recognize many on staff as having been there for years.

This place has severly declined over the years both the food and service. They always seem to miss something major of you order to go and many times the food is either over or undercooked ie you order a steak madium and it comes out rare. The waitresses seemore interested in the days current gossip then actually being timely with your order which many times results in luke warm food and I think the cooks might be allergic to salt because the steaks are seasoned horribly I have quit going all together

I ordered the prime rib served medium well. What I got was a very well done prime rib cut that could not have measured any taller than an 1/8th of an inch. It was the saddest and THINNEST piece of meat I have seen. It belonged on a sandwich. I brought it home for my dogs to eat. Also, the Au Jus tasted like nothing more than salt in water. Very unpleasant with no flavor. The rest of the meal was good and the waitress was nice. Sadly, the peanuts were the best part of my prime rib meal...

Absolutely perfect in every way. The service was world class. The fellow that worked with us must have had a photographic memory. There was 46 of us. He didnt forget so much as an extra dressing that I asked for. The food was also perfection. I had the 9 oz. Sirloin steak. It was cooked to perfection I just found out my server name was Matt and Nicole. They were fabulous. Just about the time I would start to ask for something, he would be there with it. I Will be back Soon.

We came in on a sunday about 1pm a little busy but nothing crazy. We waited 20min just to order drinks, then it was at least 30 more min before we asked the manager if we could order. The girl finally came over and took the order and gave us the check. We waited 45 MORE min then we finally asked some random waiter to cash us out. Its now 3pm and were just leaving. In this economy there are THOUSANDS of people who want your job, remember this when you go to work each day!

Warning, this is not Texas Roadhouse. It looks very similar, and you may think you are at Texas Roadhouse until you pick up the menu. The prices are a little higher, and we felt like the quality was much lower. We agreed among our family that the BBQ Sauce on the ribs tasted like something out of a cheap bottle, and the other meals at the table werent much better.

The food is amazing! I usually get the broil its marinated and always juicy and delicious. Fresh homemade soup everyday and the chili is so good! Always get a flavored lemonade, they are so good and free refills too! Fyi kids eat free on Tuesdays! Great service and amazing food. I would recommend to everyone!

Their ordinal drinks ate good but the food is okay. Plus we got uncooked rolls, informed the waitress as she proceeded to tell us thats how they come. Next round of rolls were actually cooked correctly and she tried to play stupid like that now how these are suppose to be. Eh

Ive ordered from here a couple of times, both when theyre slow and when theyre slammed. The wait times for our food are always reasonable, the food is tasty (the prime rib in particular), the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is fun. All in all a great experience!

The bison burger is delicious and cooked just right and the sweet potato fries delicious and add a lemonade you cant go wrong. The people who where waiting on us was attentive and polite. They only over cooked one meal in the 5 years I have gone there.
