First timers - very busy place. Normally go to the other BBQ place in town, mainly because we live nearby. It was closed this evening so we thought wed try Storrs. Upon arriving we were informed they were out of wings & cheesy ?, Being replaced with Mac n cheese my husband and son were pleased. Ordered two brisket sandwiches and two sides of Mac n cheese. Cashier recommended we order the pint instead, more food for less cost. We ordered not just one but ordered a second to take home. I was undecided on which meat to order, brisket it pork, so I ordered the two meats, knowing our other son was at home and would be excited about any leftovers. We grabbed a couple beers and a soda and sat down. After a few minutes, we were informed by the cashier that they didnt have enough Mac n cheese to fill out second side (to take home). They offered to substitute another side or refund. I opted for a refund, knowing nothing could truly substitute Mac n cheese. They were more than happy to give me my money back. When we finally got our food, after approximately 15 minutes (pretty sure they gave our food to someone else - the group that came in after us was eating brisket sandwiches while I was inquiring about the delivery of our order), we found it to be exceptional. We will come back and give them another try, maybe a bit earlier in the evening.

I really want the folks in Newberg to know that theres a fairly new BBQ shop in town. The food is amazing and the service is good. The reason I am only giving Storrs three stars is because of the five attempts times that I tried to have lunch there, theyve only been open one out of the five times. Their sign on the doors reads "Open Monday - Thursday, 7a - 7p". That is not the case. I am surprised that they are still in business for the few times that I have seen them open. I gave up trying to go back and so I eat at Berts BBQ in Dundee. Sorry Storrs! Be more consistent and I will return.

Ok, just come eat here. Brought 10 people here without warning. They totally took it in stride. The BBQ is really great. St. Louis ribs needed no sauce. See the smoke ring in the picture I posted. Brisket was tender, appropriately fatty. Both meats, the rub was just flavorful enough without dominating the smoked meat flavor. Sauces included both a sweet and a spicy pinot noir based sauce - great local spin! But the big surprise were the sweet-pickled green tomatoes - you MUST try them! Prices were beyond reasonable. If I lived here (visiting a relative), I would become a regular.

Ordered Brisket, 1/2 lb moist. I got six cubes of tough, dry beef, more like a roast. The Pulled pork was decent but nothing special. The BBQ beans were tasteless, woody and tough; I think they omitted the brown sugar. Some additional BBQ sauce cured that. Greens were not cooked down enough. Service was ok; unfortunately the staff were more interested in the young man at the bar. Our meal was accompanied by squeals of laughter more like a middle school cafeteria. Overall, a miss.

This place has DELICIOUS barbeque. The first time we visited, my husband and I shared the Gran Daddy, which gives you a bit of everything. That wad awesome because we ended up preferring different things (although all of it was delicious!). Now, I order the brisket sandwich when I come. The brisket is NOT TO BE MISSED. It is phenomenal. We have enjoyed everything we have eaten here and recommend it highly!

The BBQ was HEAVENLY! The cole slaw was unbelievable. The pickles were unexpected and terrific. The beer set the whole thing off. No need to use them ( the BBQ doesnt need them) but the BBQ sauces are also an unusual and unexpected treat. This is not ketchup sauce smeared to camouflage overcooked meat. True BBQ wizardry. Came here out of luck and will definitely be back when in town.

I ordered the pork sandwich and received a heap of moist smoked meat on top of a toasted homemade bun. I got a side of collard greens, which werent great, but fresh. It was served with crisp and sweet pickled green tomatoes. I topped the barbeque with their Oregon pinot barbeque sauce. It was sublime. Maybe the best barbeque Ive had on the Pacific Northwest.

For $21.25 I had 4 ribs with 1 slice of brisket, pickle, substitute beans for coleslaw, a Pilsner on tap, and no bread. Ribs were over-salted, very dry, but good flavor. Brisket was average. The side was a joke. It costed $0.25 extra for flavorless beans and was the tiniest side Ive ever seen. $6 for a pint of pFriem beer? Sheesh! Poor value! I left hungry.

Solid BBQ, nice little storefront. Two beers on tap, bottles in the fridge, homemade ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. Split the "grand daddy" with my buddy. For $19 it was good value. Got wings, ribs, brisket and pulled pork with two pickle spears and coleslaw. It was delicious and the sauce was good. Would go back. Staff was friendly as well.

Wow. Just, Wow! My wife and I shared the Gran Daddy and it was all great. Well seasoned ribs and pulled pork, brisket that didnt disintegrate when you grabbed a fork-full, flavor-full sausage, and probably the best chicken wings I have ever tasted. Be sure to try the chicken wings, they may be a bit spicy for some.

Good meats, wish they were a bit more moist and fatty (I love franklins in austin, so my standards are admittedly high.) Really more like 3 stars but giving an extra to support local business. Dont love the sauces and wish there was a more standard choice as well. Will try in the future but not a crave...

Spent $86 on 4 lbs of meat and sides and the only gave me 4 small sauces. When you spend almost $100 on food it seems they could be a bit more generous. Gave them 3 stars because the food is good, but when your serving 5 or 6 people its pretty ridiculous to skimp on the sauces.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the portion sizes are great. My family stumbled across it and now it will be our go-to restaurant! The meat is unbelievably tasty. The prices are really reasonable for the amount of food you get too.

The food was okay. The service was excellent. Got the "Grand Daddy" for $19 and split it. Great amount of food for the price. Just wasnt crazy about the barbecue flavor. Its not bad, it just wasnt great. That being said, I do recommend checking it out.

Been here probably 30+ times. Great pulled pork and ribs. Would be 5 stars but my favorite BBQ item, brisket is a little hit or miss. Can be quite dry every now and then which is a shame because its soooo good when its good!
