Located in the quaint town of Salem, lies the only halal restaurant for at least 50 miles so I was relieved while traveling back from my road trip to see a halal restaurant! The service was friendly( well the woman was really really sweet!!! The man was so busy he didnt even bother to welcome or acknowledge us or even say bye) I ordered beef shawarma, chicken gyro, beef kebab plate. The food came out warm and fresh. You can tell alot of care had been put in it. The only problem is that it wasnt really good. It was just a straight meh. The food was seasoned but it was just okay. The beef from the shawarma was the same as the beef in the kebab plate so nothing too different. The chicken was also decent too. As someone who tried many many many Mediterranean cuisines, I expect it to be just as goof as the best pones or at least different or creative. Even if prices are really amazing for the amount you receive, Id suggest getting a snack instead to hold you off for better food down the road

Worst place ever! They have someone that doesnt understand nor speak English taking the orders. She took our order and never submitted it nor told her parents that she charged us. We waited an hour and everyone received their food but us. They asked us have you ordered already? We said yes, which to them meant have you gotten your food already not the same thing people! So since we answered yes they didnt even make our food! Makes no sense why the girl seeing we didnt get our food for an hour couldnt communicate to her parents in their language that we hadnt gotten our food! I even paid for parking for nothing cause I never got my food. I asked them to give me that money which they refused and told me to never come back. Off course I wouldnt come back to such a lagging place with terrible service. The family that owns the restaurant even prepared their own food to eat and were out talking among themselves! Horrible service because they dont put their customers first!

Holy smokes! Tastiest Mediterranean anywhere near central Oregon! My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant because it offered the cheapest and most authentic euro around, but we did not expect the level of quality of food or service we received! The hummus is to die for and their Baklava was exquisite! I would absolutely recommend this for anyone that enjoys restaurants such as the Mad Greek in Portland or just loves a good eat that is a phenomenal quality for the price :) This is definitely on my list of restaurants to visit often :D

Yummy dinner, found a lil family owned hole in the wall here in Salem Definitely adding this place to the rotation Everything was fabulous pictured below: cardimum coffee, beef Sharma with hummus and warm pita bread & their dinner special- lamb shank on a warm bed of seasoned basmati rice, Greek salad, freshly made hot sauce (you know this was Kens plate) and tidziki & finished dinner with a pistachio baklava Highly recommend this place

Simply Amazing! We just had dinner here and the owners were so gracious. This is definitely our new favorite place to eat. My wife had the chicken and humus plate which she absolutely loved! We also had the chicken and rice plate along with the okra lamb and rice plate and they were wonderful. =) The food was so fantastic that I got Lamb Shawarma to go! If you like wonderful people and amazing food, this is the place for you.Austin =)

Delicious!! Weve had chicken and lamb shawarmas, incredible every time. Chicken and rice dish tonight was to die for. Seasoned so perfectly. The hummus and pitas are so fresh! Must try it! Spinach pie is super. Turkish coffee is delicious. The owners are delightful nice folks. :-) If you havent tried it, do. You wont regret it!

Interesting experience. This little family-run place doesnt look like much on the outside or inside - but the food is superb! And the mint lemonade was divine! So friendly! Will definitely be back when we need some Mediterranean food! There arent many options in Salem but this is worth the stop!

A coworker and I went for lunch. I had the chicken gyro, falafel, and mint iced tea. I t was scrumptious, tasty and fresh with perfect seasonings. The food came fast, the service was warm and friendly, the prices spot on. Oh, the baklava for dessert was amazing!

Very friendly staff and the best falafel I have had in Salem or Portland. Excellent shwarma and quality control. The only thing I havent found to be above average is the lamb, their source can be slightly gamey. Difficult to find an excellent lamb source though.
