This place is definitely a step up in "mom and pop shop" feel compared to the Starbucks down the road. So if that is what you were going for, then it is settled! Their pastries have been good, but I am never very impressed with the drinks. They are all a little on the weak side, and that is just the all around flavors. The mochas are like warm milk with a weak chocolate and coffee flavor. It could be the roast they use, but I always think about how the drinks just dont have much flavor. Still, it is a nice place to have nearby when Grand Central is closed.

Cozy place to meet a friend, and I like to support local businesses. However, there comes a time when value enters into the equation. 12 oz coffee is $2.15. Starbucks up the street $1.50. Baker and Spice with your own cup $1.00. I would rather put my money towards goodies, and not an expensive cup o Joe.

Cute little coffee joint! Great tasting coffee and atmosphere. Newly remodeled seating and rotating local art for sale makes this place my favorite coffee joint in Multnomah Village. I like to come here to read a book on the weekend, or sit outside and chat with friends.

I like the Village Coffee for its down home feel. Good coffee in a very non corporate environment. Not a lot of laptops and lively coversations. The food selection is the same and NEVER changes, with an odd almost quirky sense of variety. Comfy and Tiny.

I love the coffee... but they dont have wifi... maybe they dont want people sitting in their shop working, only hanging out. I would be in there everyday if I could use my laptop to get some work done. But hey its a coffee shop, not a cafe.

When you dont want to hit up Sbux in Multnomah Village - There may not be WiFi but the beverages are great, everyones friendly, and its an adorably cozy coffee shop. Also, they have a billion options of Italian soda.

Yes they absolutely do accept debit cards now. I love to hang out on a Saturday or Sunday morning in the old movie seats, read and watch the people go by. Great coffee, nice people on both sides of the counter.

Multnomah Village is super cool/historical. Wooden houses, super creative food and people. Huge trees. My coffee latte is delicious: no need for sugar. Comfortable. Happy staff.
