No question the best coffee shop in St. Johns. The staff are welcoming and kind, the sheer variety of coffees is magnificent and they even make my dog feel comfortable, with space and water bowls on the floor for four-legged friends. If you get a cup of regular drip coffee and stay in house the first refill is free, which easily gets me paying for a second cup, since they brew fresh pots constantly. Ive been to all the coffee shops in this neighborhood and never been treated better. The pastries are actually fresh (not frozen and thawed) and when they sell you a "$1 day old" it is ACTUALLY only one day old. Their focus on sustainability goes above-and-beyond, with a huge variety of organic and fair trade blends. This morning they even opened several minutes early because they saw me waiting in my car: now THATs service. Food is limited (read: not a place for a meal) but theyre so good at what they do that youll be glad they focus on quality, instead of variety. You will encounter no better product or service in Portland. They get my vote, hands down.

I want to love this location, I really do... I live in St Johns and instead of going to starbucks I thought Id get my seasonal coffees from St. Johns coffee and support a local business instead. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte over the weekend while I was out, I asked the price before paying and I was told $4.45 and I said great! then checking my account this morning I was charge $5.47!!! almost 6 bucks for a latte, I just cant afford even a decent coffee and wont be ordering with them again. The drink itself was amazing!! richer than any pumpkin spice latte Ive had before. I cant justify the price.

LOVE this coffee roasting company! (We hardly have any freshly roasted coffee choices in Seattle, right? -HA!) St. Johns knows how to choose their coffee beans and roast them well. They are artisans. Their coffee is never burned, has great aroma, and a smooth finish. -Even their darker roasts. I usually purchase a medium roasted coffee, but stumbled upon St. Johns Italian blend and its one of my favorites. Im stoked that they are opening a coffee shop in Portland and plan to swing by when we visit grandma. Check them out, yall!

Finally we have a great local coffee shop in St. Johns who roasts their own coffee! If you are so lucky you will walk into the store where you will be greeted by Mount who is the owner and one of the most genuine men you will ever meet. The coffee is amazing and you can pick any specialty blend listed on the wall and they will do a pour-over cup of coffee right in front of you. Best cup of coffee I have ever had!

I had an amazing cup of coffee here yesterday. Dark roast americano. Great depth and layers of flavors, rich creamy and fulfilling. One of my new favorite spots in the city! Prices are fair too... Double americano and a fresh spielmans bagel toasted with butter was $4.15... Keep up the good work!!

If youre a true coffee consumer you know the difference in taste, texture, flavor and smell. I have to say hands down, Mount you have the best coffee in St. Johns. I love the flavor in your different types of coffee, very dynamic and smooth. I hope to see you soon for my Mocha. Carrie

Good coffee in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Had a nice coffee this morning supplemented w a blueberry muffin. The coffee was bold and full flavored. While the muffin was good a few more blueberries would have made it better. Nice artwork in the restroom.

Cardamom Lavender Latte. Almond milk. Dark roast espresso. Hecka good. Also the service: barista followed up to make sure I like it after I expressed concern w the number of shots. That should be standard.

Once my daughter had a mocha here, she would not go nowhere else. They roast onsite, and let me sample different coffees before purchasing. Great place to stop before (and after) a walk in Cathedral Park

Expertly hand-crafted coffee drinks made with passion. The owner is a coffee genius, but not a snob at all. He is very approachable and the place has a friendly atmosphere. Superb Coffee!

Like the shop, and the coffee when I make it myself, but not a big fan of the espressos they pull in the store. Their baristas need better training to avoid over-/under-tamping

The coffee from St. Johns is reliably great quality, whether drinking in store or taking a bag home. The store-front is in a great location and has a very cozy feel inside.
