These burgers are like "Gardein" or "Boca" burgers. There are much better "homemade" Portland burgers that are vegan in this town. I want these guys to succeed, but you have to bring up the taste a few notches. Add in the cost, and I didnt feel like this was a very good value. A few notes about the restaurant itself: Service was pretty good, if not a little slow. If they want to cater themselves as fast food vegan, this wont cut it. The interiors were bright to the point of blinding, especially coming in during a dark night it took me about 5 minutes to adjust. Their menu was somewhat difficult to read. They also apparently have a breakfast menu but its on small cards and I imagine few customers even know about it. Finally, the seating is limited if you want something comfortable/private. Staring directly into a mirror or sitting with random people as your two main options seems...limiting. Just thought Id give this chain some tips. #1 issue though is that the taste just doesnt cut it. Get a burger at Sweet Hereafter or White Owl if you really want your mind blown.

Amazing. My wife and I ate here on our honeymoon and we were blown away with how good the burgers were. When we walked through the door, we were "warned" by an employee behind the counter that everything was vegan. And of course we said, "we know, thats why were here!" First, so many choices and options to choose from with several gluten-free substitutions if you are in need of them. Definitely should cover everyone. Even hot dogs if thats your thing. My wife had the Bleu BBQ burger and shes still talking about it over a month later. I snuck a bite and even though bleu cheese is not my favorite, it was really good. I ordered the All American burger which was incredible. The tempeh bacon was the perfect accent on this burger and gave it that classic burger taste. For a side, we had the tater tots which were also right on point. Hoping we can get this level of quality vegan option on the east coast very, very soon. But we will be back. Wish they would open a franchise here in the D.C. area.

Delicious shakes! We loved the cookies and cream shake best. The food is a tad pricey, but quality. On the burner, the lettuce was crisp and not wilting. The tomato was ripe and not grainy. My burger had a fresh, grilled pineapple, not one from a can. Overall high quality fast food. I love that they dont expect tips for counter service (but you can if youd like). The service was great. The guy at the register handled so many orders while we were there, quickly, accurately, professionally. Despite being fast and busy, he was friendly about answering questions and giving recommendations.

Burgers taste heavily processed and are not very flavorful. Skip the fries with your meal as you could go to the grocery store freezer section and find the same, if not better quality. The shakes all taste about the same, and at best, are not very flavorful. If you think the salads might be decent, think again. The salads are bland and if you get any dressings with them they tend to not pack a lot of flavor nor salt. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone; spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This place is definitely next level when it comes to the burger selection. I consider myself to be average joe when it comes to burgers, I dont have any dietary restrictions. However, if I did have dietary restrictions, I would totally choose this place all the time. I will continue to come here, so that I can fill my life with healthy choices. I am so happy that we chose this place randomly. I would recommend the special sauce burger with sweet potatoes fries. #vegan#glutenfree #organic #nogmo

Great service, jnowledgavle staff, and a fantastic menu. This place takes the classic burger joint and really makes it a legitimate no guilt option for vegans vegetarians. Probably one of the best vegan burgers Ive ever had with options for all sorts of vegan staples, from tempeh, quinoa patty, black bean patty, soy patty, and their NL cheese is the best fake cheese Ive ever had. Go here. Now.

Absolutely horrible, dont call somthing a burger when its not. Maybe it would be an OK place for a non American non meat eating hippie, but for real people wanting real food go somewhere else and save yourself a ton of money. Nowhere in this place does it make it clear that they dont serve real food. Only a real moron would purposely spend $8 on a fake burger.

The core principle of guilt free goodness permeates the place. The staff is super friendly. One of them (Shrey) even remembered my name on my subsequent visit. Having been a vegetarian all my life, it is an interesting experience to taste the typical American meal. Kudos to the team for promoting a sustainable, sensible and satisfying alternative to meat.

Wow!! I am not vegan at all, Im quite the meat-eater so when we walked in and looked at the menu we decided we didnt want to go forward with trying vegan patties. The cashier convinced us to try something new so we ended up staying. I was shockingly surprised!! The mushroom and quinoa patty was so delicious! We will definitely come back here :)

This place is awesome!! Entirely vegan, organic produce, entirely non-gmo, nothing artificial... whats not to love?? mm. Remember, just because you can eat meat and cheese, doesnt mean it has to be part of your everyday lives. Give your body a break, eat good quality, and shop smart. Shop S-Mart. #Vegan #Organic #NonGMO #VeganBurger

I stumbled upon this place and could not have been more impressed. Best vegan burger I have ever had, and the chili cheese fries are phenomenal. Great shakes (though I think the soy is a bit better than the coconut). The gal who took our order was really sweet and knowledgeable. Definitely a new favourite place!

Tastes like good fast food. All vegan and the produce is organic. The staff was very friendly. I had a pumpkin shake, chili cheese dog, and the special sauce burger; all were very tasty. The fries werent anything special, basic cafeteria style fries. I do appreciate that they are baked instead of fried.

Worst burger ive ever had. Blan flavor, texture was completely mushy, i took 1 bite and spit it out. Im suprised my family had eatin theres. The meat is a manufactured pressed patty, the bacon is similar to the patty but reminiscent of maggots. Never would i recommend anyone goto this place.

Decided to check it out when it replaced the vegan place that used to be there. Much to my disappointment, its also vegan. Totally not my thing but I didnt want to just make a face and leave, so I got a pumpkin spice shake. Tasted pretty good as it used coconut milk as a base.

The pomme fromage burger of the week was my first taste here, I appreciate their effort to try and have more options for plant based foods with actual flavors. However the BBQ tempeh was vile, unless it was caramelized unsweetened cocoa by mistake they need to tweak the sauce.

Amazing burgers! I walked in here thinking I was going to get a hamburger, but was pleasantly surprised at the 100 percent plant based offering. I was even more impressed by how good the "bacon" burger I had was! Super sweet staff, cant say enough good about this place!
