This is a very expensive place to eat! The food is pretty good for the most part, but not worth the portions and high prices!! Also, THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE COFFEE!! I have worked at multiple coffee shops and know there is a right and a wrong way to pull shots. After watching them make my coffee (the shots drip out, instead of streaming steadily, they STOP the shot instead of timing it to make sure it stops on its own at the proper time, and they dont always put the shot in the milk/flavoring, so it ends up going bad) it is no freaking wonder my $4.50 16 oz coffee tastes burnt!! They should take all that money they make and hire someone to calibrate their machine and teach them how to make coffee properly! A well known brand does no good if youre not making it right to begin with.

The Daily uses a a random disappearing cashier system. Instead of one line feeding into both of their cashiers, they use two lines. But one of their cashiers can step away at any time to make coffee or do whatever. "We do a lot of juggling" is how they explain it. But if you are the customer "being juggled" that means you get in a line, wait a while while the other line gets longer, and when its your turn, you get told that you need to go to the back of the other line. Its a crazy way of managing customer flow.

Ive never been told "no" so many times as a customer, as I have here. Very rude cashiers, very odd layout for menus and specials boards, and a "no substitutions" policy on nearly all their food... I feel so bad for the people that have to eat here every day because there is no other choice in the area for the workers. I refuse to spend money at a place like this ever again, luckily I dont work in the area.

Having worked in the Pearl for many years Ive enjoyed the Daily Cafe there. When I moved to the south waterfront I was excited to see one here. Unfortunately the service is no where near that of the pearl. Rude, impatient, and unwilling to be helpful seem to be normal at this outpost. Food remains consistent, but nothing I couldnt get somewhere else. Luckily a Pearl Bakery is going in soon.

I.was given a letter. Waited for my lunch. After 20 minutes I go up to the counter and ask " is that mine?" Oh yeah sorry. Everyone else arround me was served but I was not. Food was good but getting cold quick. Hate potato skins on my fries and almost all of them had skin on the entire fry. And they are a bit spendy. I am going back to the food carts.

Food is really good but most items are overpriced. Some of the staff are very nice but most arent. You cant choose what you want and dont want on an item which really sucks for people who have allergies. Their hours say 7-5 but usually when I come at 7 they arent open yet. Open on time!

Rude, slow, and too much attitude. I would not recommend unless you are looking for a irritating cup of joe. They seem more interested in themselves, their little chit chat and expect the customer to sit patiently by while they slow roll the day. Not worth the expense or the time. Avoid.

Best Burger Ive ever tasted! Panini bursting with flavor! I thought Id like my mocha better, but it tasted like a stout beer somehow, couldnt finish it. Ill try a different coffee next time. Location (at the bottom of the tram) makes it perfect lunch stop after a morning at Shiners.

Fresh-made food, sometimes decent, under $10, cooked in an open kitchen, and presented a by a friendly crew - airport style. Good coffee. Cookies are acceptable cookies apart from their standard appearance. This clinical restaurant serves its purpose very well.

*some* of the staff are very rude. I politely told the guy at the counter my drink was incorrect and he blamed me for ordering wrong instead of offering to correct the situation. The food is pretty good but not worth the high prices.

Rude cashier ( he was way cooler than my wife and I) very expensive (water is 3 dollars a bottle)... Most of the staff were chatting with each other and we were never greeted or even a look in our direction.... Never again...

Good food, high prices. Although the food was really tasty, the prices reflect that there is not a lot of competition in the area for tasty burgers.

Their pearl District location is much better, this is OK if you dont have any other choice, kind of pricey.

Expensive, and the people serving the food are usually very rude. Try eating somewhere else if you can!

Really expensive, low quality. Go out to the food carts or to surrounding restaurants instead.
