This coffee house is next to work so its convenient. However today, I was really disappointed and decided to write this review. I ordered a ham breakfast sandwich, cup of soup and a drink. I usually have a white mocha with Ghirardelli but the guy said that they dont have it anymore. However, I saw a can on the self behind him. He told me it was not usable. The sandwich and soup were good but both were cold and required me to re-heat it. Also, I cant recall the last time I order soup and not receive some crackers with it. Overall bill was over $15. Even though its a quaint place, its very over priced and the espresso I get from Primo Espresso in Tigard is definitely superior. I think I will bring in my own espresso maker

I have been going here for years, beginning with their first location on McLoughlin. The quality just keeps improving, and it was great from the start. the owner bends over backward to give his customers a first-class coffee experience - it is his reason for living, and if hes ever failed, Ive never seen it. As baristas do, they move on, so if the owner isnt personally waiting on you, service may not be what you expect, but it will NEVER be poor. And this place is so good and so comfortable that it gets busy shortly after opening. If youre open to the possibility that Starbucks really isnt coffee, Windhorse is a place you should try.

Wind Horse is wonderful! Most importantly, they know how to make a perfect cup of coffee. They also carry local, high quality products. The service is attentive and helpful and the atmosphere is very homey and pleasant. Love their music selections! This is a place I frequent in Milwaukie.

Though the owner is sometimes a little gruff, this tidy little spot delivers. Consistent espresso drinks, and a getting-ever-better pastry case are worth the stop. I like the books, has a casual library feel and cool paint job. One of the few easy hangs in Milwaukie.

This is my local coffee shop, steps from my front door, and it has gotten better and better over the last couple of years. Full service espresso, coffees, snacks (pastries, sandwiches), treats, great people and very comfortable to hang out.
