I am going to give a fair review. The atmosphere is an interesting amalgamation of Mexican and Persian. Radio is played on low, and a TV if you stop in for lunch. The menu is quite expansive, both Persian and Mexican cuisine food available. The customer service is fantastic, interpersonal and witty, plus they wont let you get thirsty or wait for long. Restaurant is very clean. The food is mediocre. The meat in the Mexican food is tasty but dry. Everything needs salt, (coming from an ex navy sailor) who hates salt. Another big thing I noticed was employees dont wear gloves when preparing your food. They just touch it by hand and that always bothers me. Even subway wears gloves, buy some for your employees. The food wasnt bad. It just wasnt memorable by any means. Someone compared it to Taco Bell, which is a terrible comparison. Its great if you need something on the way home and are not willing to cook, but the food here will not be winning any awards, thats for sure. 3 stars.

Bandito Taco is located in Cedar Mill on Cornell Road (across from Sunset High School). This locally owned and operated gem opened in 1990, and has been serving up a large selection of healthy affordable Mexican food choices ever since. Its not surprising that people love this place. The restaurant is clean and the menu is plentiful. The food is fresh, tasty—and fits any budget! You will also find vegetarian and always healthy-eating options. Fresh ingredients, huge menu, friendly and helpful restaurant owners and wait staff, quick service and chunky-spicy delicious homemade salsa makes Bandito Taco a great choice for lunch or dinner! Dont miss their ongoing Sunday Crunch special, when you can order their regular tacos for just $.59! REMEMBER: Bandito Taco can cater your next staff meeting, presentation, school event or family gathering. Serving Healthy Mexican food to Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro for more than 20 years

Nice folks who are running the shop! They have fresh handmade salsa they are willing to give out on request that they keep refrigerated. I ordered the Terminator burrito because I think the menu said it would "terminate your hunger" or something like that; I was very hungry. It didnt terminate my hunger, it didnt quite fill me up, also the burrito was bland. Like absolutely no flavor. I usually dont salsafy my burritos but I asked for a salsa, then another (I got a kind of funny look on the second request). I was looking forward to a good family owned local spot, I cant bring myself to eat there again.

Having just moved from Los Angeles I was looking forward to some Mexican food. The place smelled great and they had a banner up that said theyd been open for 18 years. It seemed so promising. Maybe I was there on a bad day. The ground beef had been under a heat lamp for way too long and the Spanish rice was low on salsa. It was just white rice with the teensiest amount of pink added - no flavor at all. I see the other reviews are good but I will never return.

Im submitting this review for the Taste of Persia side. Firstly, the staff is ALWAYS positive and welcoming. I occasionally swing by for a daily special on my lunch break and my favorites off the menu are the Shirazi Salad (I get it every time) and the Thursday special Ash - E Shaleh Qalam Kar, which the menu does not specify, but is a thick lamb stew with a flavor that is out of this world. In fact, eating it for the 3rd time prompted me to write this review.

Torn. The Mexican food is awesome 4+ star, the Persian food is a maybe 2- star. The Mexican food, the salsa everything made on that end is to die for. Better than most restaurants. An absolute favorite and great portions. The salsa is fresh, very flaverful and chunky. The chile relleno is amazing, great nachos and killer burritos. Definitely have to go, ignore the other side.

This place is spectacular!!I love the owner and his wife. The food is always great and the conversation is awesome! I am a huge Blazer fan and so are the owners. I get great food and get to talk ball with them. I went in yesterday to beat the heat. Ahmad gave me a picture of the Blazers and a C.J Mccullum signed basketball!!! I cant say how much I love this place!!

Staff was very friendly. However their food was extremely aweful. The meat taste like meat biproduct. We had the nachos, Mexican pizza, and tacos. Horrible. I do not recommend eating here. Also they touch your food with their bare hands. I will never eat their food again and honestly their prices for the quality I would rather enjoy muchos gracias.

I like this place. The staff is always friendly. The food is good, very handmade. You should eat their salsa on everything. Prices range from cheaper than tacobell to more than my food budget (my friend says those items are excellent though :) ). Its also a pretty calm environment where you can sit for a few minutes (they have wifi).

We have eaten at Bandito for years. The people and the owner have always been friendly and the food is good and healthier than most mexican restaurants. We recently had them cater a business lunch and our employees were very happy with the service and the value. Two thumbs up!

The staff is really nice, but the food is bad. Stale chips. Bland spices. Small portions. The chicken enchiladas didnt have any enchilada sauce and very little chicken. Authenticity ranks 0 out of 5 stars. Go to Taco Bell, and at least get more food for your dollar.

Pretty good food, but for the price, Ive found better. We had hard and soft tacos and both were more of an American take - not super authentic which is my personal preference for this type of food. We didnt try anything off the Persian side of the menu.

The customer service is disaster. They serve food in plastic plates. Everything is plastic. No salt ,no napkin, nothing on table. You have to pay bill first ,before you tast your food. the wosrt persian food ever. I do not recommand this place .

Easily became my new favorite taco place... $0.59 on sundays? Please, more!! Super cheap and incredibly good. Taco shells were a bit more kid sized than expected, but given the price and how good they were, Ill easily order and extra or two

Such a friendly atmosphere. I was supposed they had both anauthentic Mexican Menu and an authentic Persian menu as well. Delicious on both sides. And very personable service. Thanks for the wonderful lunch:)

For the price of the food, they really arent that great. The salsa is bland, and the rice is very boring. Overall, its a lot more on par with Taco Bell than, say, The Original Taco House.

Best place around for mexican food! Family owned and a local staple for the last 25+ year. Friendly staff and great food. Now with some of their familys Persian food specialties

The service was excellent - no issues! After going twice, and with friends, we found the food was the weak point as it was just alright. Well priced but not that good.
