Okay, Ive been looking for a good barbecue joint that serves decent brisket. Ive spent a lot of time in Texas and have enjoyed some of the Hill Countrys finest BBQ. Ive tried almost every BBQ place around, from food carts to places with multiple locations labeled as "Texas Style" BBQ. The service at Boomers leaves a little bit to be desired. I tried calling in an order to go, but was left on infinite hold. I work close by, so I figured Id just drive there. Once I arrived I understood why I was left on hold forever, they were slammed and way understaffed. Ten minutes upon my arrival I was finally greeted, I placed my order, and was soon on my way to brisket heaven. Let me just say that this is hands down some of the finest brisket Ive had this side of the rockies. Well worth the wait. Moist, juicy, smoky deliciousness. Way better than that "Texas Style" BBQ joint that also starts with a B and ends with an S. When Im craving brisket, and I dont feel like waiting 13 hours to make it at home, Im totally coming back to Boomers

Pretty typical of west coast amateur bbq....mediocre at best and overpriced. Ribs have almost no meat on them, they dont remove the "skin" on the back before they smokem. Overcooked but I suspect thats because they arent smoked same day. Reheated to order like the rest of their BBQ. Ive never seen authentic BBQ pulled out of a fridge and reheated on the grill. "PULLED" BRISKET? Its chopped brisket guys, and its supposed to be "wet", which means they are using only a flat brisket and not a whole, chopped comes from the fatty end. Pulling meat off the flat is a way to not give the customer sliced, like its supposed to be and jipping the customer. Pork loin was ok, but not common fare for BBQ. Pulled pork was pretty bland. Sausage was pretty good, but youd have to be a real idiot to Fup sausage unless you made it yourself, which i know they dont do. Im sure their burgers are good. But dont expect good BBQ just because they have a "pit" prominently displayed outside so you know its "real".

If youre looking for ribs, look no further than Boomers. We had the mixed BBQ platter and enjoyed every bite. The ribs were the best. We were surprised with the pork loin and found it to be full of flavor. The homemade sauces will not disappoint. Tried the collard greens but were only moderately pleased. I cook mine a lot longer and add a little red wine vinegar or balsamic to sweeten it up. Coleslaw was good. The chicken was moist and the pulled pork and brisket were fantastic. Children are welcome but must stay on one side of the restaurant. Its a small place and one section has video poker/lottery type games that is restricted. Its somewhat easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will certainly go back and probably for a rack of ribs.

You always know its a great bbq joint when it feels like you need to take a shower when you are finished eating. I could choose between the special and the ultimate BBQ burger. Waitress suggested the burger and I was surprised when she brought it out with a rib in the basket "so I could try it" was her reasoning. The burger had pulled pork on it, so I took some off to try it by itself. Rob was nice and smokey and tender. Pulled pork was juicy and flavorful. The burger was an excellent combination of tastes and textures. The coleslaw , fries onions and bbq sauce complimented the pulled pork and meaty, juicy, not overcooked burger. Tots were crisp and on point. I wish I lived closer, this world behind one of my regular spots. I was happy with the burger, but, next time Ill get one of the BBQ combo platters.

Food: Excellent smoked barbecue Service: Very good Prices: Reasonable Atmosphere: Meh - Small unattractive bar Recommend half chicken, which is smoked and then fried - crispy and flavorful! Grilled Caesar salad - with pulled chicken - the romaine lettuce had been lightly charred on the grill, giving the salad amazing flavor! Sides were great - we had Cajun tots, baked beans, and roasted corn - all flavorful and delicious! Three different homemade barbecue sauces - sweet, hot, and mustard - each was great on its own, but mixing all three together worked for me! If you havent already, you should definitely give them a try. Well be going back soon!

The mouth-watering smell hits you half a mile away... great bbq being smoked outside. You can sit at the bar, at the tables, or at a booth, or even outside on the patio when the sun is shining. Ive had the ribs, chicken, burgers (the Jamaican Jerk Burger is.. is... is... unbelievable!), and the chili. They actually use real pieces of meat in the chili. The staff is awesome. I read the other review and think they probably went in during the initial period before the management was changed. Ive been going there off and on for the last three months and have received nothing but outstanding service.

This was the first time I ate here. This is not a family type of restaurant. NO MINORS ALLOWED. Its located in a strip mall of 5 other businesses. Which results in little parking available. I ordered the pork ribs, beef ribs, and the chicken. I ate it without the sauce and with the sauce. Both were fine. The meat was smoked but I was not sure if it was really smoked or Boomer used "Liquid Smoke" to give it a smokey flavor. The key was the sauces. They have a sweet sauce and spicy sauce. I loved both of them.

Definitely worth a visit. Slightly greasy but tasty brisket. Chicken was just ok. Sausage was really good. The ribs were great but other pork meats were also just ok. I like my meat on bone and in pieces not shredded. Hole in the wall with moderate prices. Sides were good but small servings even with $20 plate. The Texas toast was not favorable. To go food didnt include napkins or utensils. I should mention the food didnt have a Smokey taste even tho it was smoked! But I will try it again.

Mmmmmmm. Best BBQ in town!!!! We had dinner at Boomers and cant believe we found the place. The smokehouse sampler platter we shared had baby back ribs ( tender and juicy) pulled pork, beef brisket, and some of the best hot links we ever had. There baked beans and texas toast are to die for!

Brisket was full of fat. When I called to tell them about it they said well you have to request no fat. Really, Ive heard would you like some pink in your hamburger meat, but you need to say no fat please when you order no meat. I guess you have to have a reward drinks before you eat.

Not sure why Ive never eaten at this place, I never knew it was here. Very good food and service! Would defiantly go again. I ordered to go, the brisket and smoked drums. Good flavor, tender and nice portion. I give it a 4 star only because my daddy makes the the best bbq

Brad recommended this place. The pulled pork was awesome. I had mine with the baked beans and corn. The size wasnt overwhelming like most BBQ places. The taste was delicious, though. I didnt have any drinks, but they were reasonably priced.
