Cute diner but it pretty much ended at that. Very slow service. 10 minutes for a glass of water and coffee after being seated, 30 minutes for a cup of fruit, toast, biscuits and gravy. The food was awful. Cup of fruit riddled with rotten grapes. Toast turned to crutons. Ants crawling on our jar of jelly. Cold biscuts, flavorless gravy, dintymore-esque bits of "sausage." 2 bites made my husband sick... When we sat down there was a family waiting to be served before us. By the time we finished our coffee (we didnt eat the food it was awful) the family still hadnt been served. We told the woman in charge the food was bad when she checked in with us, and explained that we felt sick, we had lost our appetites. We didnt want another serving of the "world class biscuits" the woman referred to them as after we explained how they were cold, flavorless, and some weird texture. I showed her the rotten grapes and explained I already had to kill ants on the jelly jar. The woman (whom Im assuming was the manager) was very rude, did not apologize or acknowledge our issues, and snydely said, "I got it" after we asked for our check, then walked away. We sat there for about 7 more minutes, waiting for our check, until the lady walked back up and said loudly, "I TOLD YOU I GOT IT!" I asked, "Do you mean we dont have to pay for this?" Again she said, "I GOT IT!" I just said thank you and left. It was a very saddening experience to be treated so terribly for being honest when she asked how the food was. I would warn anyone thinking about eating at this venue to really consider if they want to support such indecent customer service and hospitality.

Came in a few months back for the first time. Everything was great including our server Rhonda. Came in again today and Rhonda was our server again and we are so happy she was. Even though she was busy with lots of customers and short staffed she still wore her beautiful smile and made our day. We left with our bellies and hearts full. Her kindness literally made me tear up. Its very rare to find people (especially in customer service) who are that kind and generous. Rhonda (and the great food) will keep us coming back for more!

Friends took me for a birthday lunch - what a wonderful, hidden treat! The train car is absolutely charming in a Diner meets Arts and Crafts Design kind of way. I had the brisket sandwich with apple slaw; both were delicious. Two friends split an appetizer of brisket/pulled pork BBQ fries which was outrageous. Emma and Jake took great care of us, and even got the staff and diners to sing Happy Birthday to me, helping to serve the cake that was brought in. I will go back soon for lunch again, and breakfast too!

Dollar for dollar, Apple Junction has the best smoked meats Ive had this side of the Mississippi. You cant go wrong here and the brisket and pulled pork are melt-in-your-mouth standouts. I highly recommend the potato skins and the junction fries as well, decadent but absolutely delicious. Great food and always a friendly smile when you walk in the door, it doesnt get better than that.

Amazing "junction" fries! Amazing burgers! This is my favorite restaurant. The Manager is super nice, caring, and great at her job. She deserves the biggest tips you can afford. You will not be disappointed in the food or customer service.

My friend and I shared the Junction Platter for Dinner. It has a selection of BBQ meet and comes with 4 choices of sides. Loved it, will have to take hubby there to try it again. Some of the restaurant is inside an old railroad car. Fun!

Cute train car decor. The pie was alright, but not the best pie I have ever had. I think this place is a good option for a quick dinner in an interesting locale, but it is more of a diner than a classy upscale joint. Overall good.

My family and I love this place! The owner is incredibly sweet and down to earth, and the servers are always so kind and awesome at their job. Never have I experienced anything less than perfection, and weve gone a dozen times.

Great bbq food in an old train car. Very fun to dine in. They run out of ribs fast because they are that good! Amazing service and family owned. The owners are absolutely adorable and sweet and their staff are very good too!

Great lunch place, very friendly. Good ribs, very meaty, nice smoke. Tri-tip sandwich was excellent but needs a more durable bun. Skip the Mac and cheese go for beans instead. Definitely will be back
