No lies, the food was good. The prices were terrible. TERRIBLE! But forget that, if you like sitting around WAITING, this is definitely the place for you. Its probably not fair to judge all of the waitstaff at once, I saw lots of other people getting service. My wife and I were there for over 2 hours on a Monday night, I had people come by every 5 minutes trying to put water in my glass, but my server didnt feel the need to come by more than once per half hour. It took over an hour to get our food - I can put up with that, although it doesnt take that long to cook a burger and some pasta. I was a lot more offended by the fact that we had finished our food, pushed our plates to the side, and emptied our drinks for over a half hour before our server came back. My wife went to wait in the car, and I was in the process of getting up to walk out when the server decided to come back. She wanted to know if I wanted another Dr. Pepper. Yea, my wife left and she took her purse, and the food on the table has been eaten, Id love another Dr. Pepper. The prices, food, and service are all better at Mos. To top it all off, when I called to complain about the service, the manager that supposedly wasnt there when I asked to speak with her, claimed to have been there that night. To top it off, she claimed that when I was there they were full with a 45 minute wait. Then she tells me that we were only there for an hour, and that shed gladly see me tell everyone I know and everyone I talk to about my experience there, as long as I didnt come back. Very classy joint.

After driving around trying to find a restaurant that didnt require reservations we ended up at this place. After eating there, I could see why the wait was only 5 minutes. The service was incredibly slow, I mean incredibly SLOW. I ordered the crab cakes with a pint of Hefeweizen. The crab cakes were decent, but the rest of the plate was horrible. My beer had "something brown floating in the bottom...I didnt notice it obviously, but my wife did when I got to the bottom of the beer because I was tipping the glass up more. We brought it to the attention of our server who just took the glass and never offered any compensation. Oh, did I mention that my beer was served in a plastic water glass? Not sure what that was about, but add it to the list of things not to like about this place. ...continuing...my wifes plate was inedible. Her prawns were severely overcooked and had turned to rubber. She ended up eating one of my crab cakes...the most edible things on our plates. We were pretty hungry, too. Its not like we went to this place just a few hours after eating lunch. We went to this place after going to several places that had an hour wait. Honestly, I wish wed have gone to Dairy Queen...wed have been more satisfied with the service, food, and definitely the price. Dont waste your time here...there are so many good seafood places in Lincoln City.

Before I start, the positives were: The Pepsi was awesome and their oyster shooters were pretty good too. My girlfriend and I went in at about 15 till three looking for a decent meal on our day trip from Portland. We were a disappointed from the beginning. Initially we were sat right by the door at one of two oddly placed tables in the nearly empty restaurant. This meant that whenever the doors were opened we would get a freezing cold draft, we waited for our server for 15 minutes to greet us and asked her to move us, whereby she directed us to another table and asked us to grab our own waters. She came back with drinks, took our order and after a brief wait brought out our soups and salad. At this point she asked for our order again because she had forgot it and didnt write it down. When the food did come out my order of Brie Salmon did not have the fries that I asked for, just as well though because my girlfriends meal did have them and they were very greasy and soggy, as though they had been sitting for a long time and the tartar sauce tasted like warm mayo with chopped pickles. My salmon was not seasoned at all and tasted so awful that I could not even finish half of my meal. Most of these things would not bother me so much at another restaurant, however at nearly $25 a plate I would expect a lot more.

Absolutely the worst meal I have had in a very long time. We went in fairly early on Friday night, and were ushered into the bar area (which seemed to be the norm for small parties). It took some time to see our waiter even though it wasn’t that busy. We gave him our order and got our bread and clam chowder fairly quickly and that was very good. The actual meal of prime rib and stuffed salmon was awful. We have been there in the past and had wonderful food; in fact it was one of the reasons we came to Lincoln City. This was definitely not the case for this trip. After we got our meal, which by the way was delivered by a different server, we never really saw our waiter again. We should have sent the whole meal back. The prime rib was fatty and tough and more done than we asked for. The salmon was tasteless and the shrimp was not that great either. When we were done we waited at least 15 minutes and the waiter never came back to ask how the meal was or if we wanted dessert. The busboy was very attentive and the other female server in the bar was very attentive to her customers. We finally had to ask if we could have our check. The absolute worst $60.00 I’ve spent. I will never go back there again ever.

WORST SERVICE AND FOOD! Pier 101 was absolutely over priced for the quality of the food. My husband ordered a tasteless burger that fell apart in his hands, I had a Caesar salad which was served with watery drip off the plate dressing. I sent back the salad and was served this weird texture of clam chowder which lacked in taste and clams. Then my meal came out "The Sea Basket" I had confidence it would be amazing and it was not! I ate about 1/3 of it! How can you mess up on Sea Food! When we talked to our server about the food and lack of quality, she said that wasnt an adequate reason to talk to her manager and ran out card. I was shocked! I then asked to talk to the manager and all I got was an attitude from her. She question why we didnt like the food? When we told her "She told us thats not a good reason to complain! Then asked "So what do you want me to do about it? Im assuming you want a refund!" Again shocked! My husband told her we would pay for the cost of the food we ate, she didnt agree, then asked us what we think she should give her! My kids didnt touch their food, thats got to tell you something! Never Go here!
