I grew up in Hawaii where we had amazing Chinese food pretty much everywhere. Needless to say, it is really difficult to find any place comparable anywhere in Oregon. Szechuan Kitchen is the BEST Chinese food I have found in Oregon and I have tried a lot. Most people go here for take out, however I have found if you enjoy eating their food in the lovely dining area you get a much better food experience and presentation. My familys favorites are the Mango Shrimp, Brocolli Beef and the deep fried Won Ton that are stuffed with meat filling. They also make an excellent spicy chicken noodle soup. We love this place.

, during that time Ive been to Szechuan Kitchen three times. Food is very good. The last time I asked if I could set away from the windows, in the past Ive found it cold. Instead of a "yes no problem" I got attude from the hostess, she said how the temp was mild. Never fails to surprise me that even with todays economy business still have not learned the lesson of "good customer service" they still think they can do whatever they please including being rude, and still have customers! A lot of places to eat in Lake Oswego, this place is off my list.

My family and I have been eating at Szechuan Kitchen for years and have never had anything less than fast service and a delicious meal. Their dine-in atmosphere is almost never too crowded and is nice and quiet; the perfect setting for a nice quiet date or a family gathering. The food is delicious and is seasoned to the customers specifications and the service always very prompt and friendly.

I had come across this restaurant one our 1st night in town after a drive acorss country (yeah.. leave it to the Chinese to find a Chinese restaurant). Anyhow, I had ordered an assortment of items that night. The only thing that was up to par was the duck, the wood & tea smoked duck, somewhat authantic. Give it a try! Everthing else? Well.. it was either too oily or to salty.

This is my favorite Szechuan place! The crispy sesame chicken is the best I have had in Oregon. I try it at every Szechuan place I come across and rarely get what I am after but this restaurant has never failed me. My husband and kids love their sweet and sour chicken but really everything they serve is delicious. The soup, the tea, every dish we have tried is worthy of 5

Food was ok, at best. I ordered over $50 of food to go. Played video poker while I waited, of which the owner makes money. I ordered a drink for me and my girlfriend. Vodka cranberry. I think the owner made the drinks. He poured pretty much no vodka in the drinks to be cheap. He has no appreciation for customers...only his own profit. I will never go there again.

Ive had Szechuan kitchen a few times for my Chinese food craving and have to say I dont like it anymore. The first few times I went there, their food was pretty good but as of lately their food quality has gone down. The Sesame beef doesnt taste like it use to. I would not recommend this restaurant for Chinese food and would look to go somewhere else.

My favorite Chinese restaurant of all time. The food is always as fresh as fresh can be with generous portions! Their General Toa chicken is the best Ive ever had! And their service has consistently been very friendly and prompt over the 10+ years that I have been eating at the Szechuan Kitchen. Definitely the best Chinese place in the area!

A basic, copy and paste Chinese fast-food chain. Its good for down and dirty, I guess, but just feels like Im in an Asian McDonalds. Food is exactly what you will see at every other one, prepared quickly and laid out sloppily in an environment that is cold, dark and old. Its not the worst, but it certainly doesnt stand out.

Sezchuan Kitchen is great spot to meet up with friends and colleagues. I was there last night indulging in the wantons and eggrolls. Add a little spicy mustard sauce to the rolls for an extra kick. If you get a chance to meet Stephanie (the owner), youll see why the restaurant has some of the best service in town.

Amazing hot and sour soup. The best in town. Also all the standards are way better here. Sweet n sour pork general Tao and sesame chick are far superior than any other place in town. Friendly staff and generous portions. Ive eaten here at least thirty five times. And am here while writing this.

Stop going here after new owners, about 2 - 3 years ago because they werent very nice. Decided to try it again only because they were the only thing open on July 4. Staff was still rude and food wasnt that good. Not even hot. She told me they didnt have sweet and sour sauce.....

Terrible Chinese Food which I ever had in my Life Time. God Promise. The Fried Rices Rice itself terrible. Absolutely No Taste at all. Be Careful with the Taste. But waiters are polite. There are several Chinese food around but dont waste your $ for this Restaurant.

A lot of quality Chinese bang for your buck. Waiters always with a smile. Unlike certain other Chinese restaurants in town, everybody speaks excellent English. Separate room available for large-party events, at a very reasonable price. A good to-go place as well.

We ordered food to go and when we opened it saw that the chicken in the chicken and vegetables was pink and translucent with rawness. The vegetables in the green jade vegetables were soggy, overcooked, and swimming in a dark sauce that tasted charred.

This place is fantastic - all food, over 30 times in take - out and 1X eating there for lunch, in person, have been fantastic. These other reviews that are *not fantastic* are suspect, but judge for yourself. Its a great place.

Love them! They are so close, the food is yummy. Best potstickers in Oregon. Cream cheese puffs to die for. There are very few good restaurants in lake Oswego that arent chains, love this place.

All the items were priced less on the Google maps menu. We were charged $1-$2 more per item in the restaurant. Other than that our order was fast and tasted pretty good.
