The Friendliest store in town.....NOT!!!!! The crew in the meat department display a level of arrogance and insolence that I have not seen in some time. I stood waiting at the meat counter for approx. 1 minute while 3 people did their various chores in the back of the meat department. Not once did anyone recognize that I was there although they did look at me various times. Finally one of the individuals came to the front counter and started putting meat in the front case. Not once did he give any recognition that I was standing there waiting to purchase some meat. He did not say hello, he did not tell me he would be right with me, he did not tell either of the other two individuals that a customer needed help. The other two individuals also made not attempt to provide any service. UnFlippinBelievable!!!!!! After receiving the cold shoulder, I walked away and contacted the stores assistant manager. I will also be contacting corporate tomorrow. Not that they will give a rats behind, but at least I will have brought it to their attention.

Their hot line food has increased in the variety offered, which is great. Just wish theyd carry something other than Gem and Petunias for gluten free/vegan pastries. Lots of processed sugar and weird starches make them a treat only for every the rare occasion, while there are options from suppliers in town that are actually healthy for you [Rawdacious comes to mind...]. I just hope New Seasons maintains their attention to supporting local and sustainable practices/businesses as they grow in size, and that they dont start getting lazy by having all their GF/Vegan desserts [for instance] handled by one supplier. Great store, though - the people are always helpful, kind, and Ive caught the kitchen crew dancing more than once.

Great, great New Seasons! Its a lot smaller than some of the more recently built New Seasons, but I really like this one--it has all you need. The checkers and workers are all exceptionally nice here, very friendly, helpful, and chatty. They do great flowers outside, and I always am sure to taste their soups of the day (they of 4). They make yummy as-you-like-it sandwiches, and I do like their tuna sandwich. Cheese counter can be helpful, depending on who is working there. New Seasons guacamole is also great! Also--cant go wrong with a New Seasons wok!

I called the store 30 minutes before closing time, to see if they carried a certain product. No one answered so I called again, and again nobody answered. I drove over because its only 10 minutes away. I tried asking an employee a question and he ran by me and mumbled something incoherently. I tried asking another employee, she cut me off mid sentence and said "never heard of it" with her back turned to me and kept walking away. Ive never experienced anything like that at a grocery store before.

Of the New Seasons in the area, this one is my favorite. Their produce department is excellent and almost always has quality fruits and vegetables at decent prices. In terms of their deli, it isnt bad, but they could use more of a gluten free selection. They do have a nice selection of wines though and they arent really expensive, which is nice. They do have a wonderful selection of gluten free bakery treats (which may or may not be a good thing depending on how you look at it).

This is the best New Seasons I have been to in Portland. Usually when I go to New Seasons, Wholefoods or any other natural grocery store, I dont care for the pretentiousness of the staff, that "your not one of us" attitude. This place is different. Everyone is very friendly and helpful even if you are a republican. The food is great, the meat if fresh and so is the fish. Great produce selection

This place is REALLY the friendliest place in town! Not only do they have an amazing selection of food, great deli, large cheese and olive bar, but they also serve breakfast lunch and dinner! This place is truly amazing! The best part is the staff!! They were my best friends when I first moved to Oregon-- I swear, they remembered me by name. I feel so fortunate to live near this market!

Has the best selection of organic produce and humanely-raised meats around. New Seasons is a certified B Corp that supports local farmers and ranchers. My only quibble with the "friendliest store in town" is that sometimes, the staff are having so much fun joking around with each other, they forget to greet the customer. Still the best market around for quality food and good vibes.

New Seasons is fantastic! The only big downside is that it is far more expensive than just about any other grocery store in the area. Quality is generally very good, and there are some things you can only reliably find here. If youre on a budget, its better for the occasional splurge than a regular shopping trip. I slightly prefer the Nyberg location, but theyre pretty similar.

Ordered a cake for a company birthday/anniversary celebration and the writing on the cake is ATROCIOUS! Im actually embarrassed to be serving this to coworkers. It looks like a 3rd grader threw up on the cake. No wonder they put the price sticker over the close of the box. That way I couldnt see it before I got to my location. Havent tasted it yet but I sure hope it tastes ok.

Great new seasons market. It can be a pain to park during busy hours but its a nice one once you get inside. They remodeled a bit so that the aisles arent quite as tight as they used to be where getting 2 shopping carts past each other required the finesse of a gymnast They carry everything you would expect and I have no issues with this store other than the parking issues.

Shopping at New Seasons Market, this afternoon, absolutely made my day! Susan, one of the home economist for New Seasons, introduce me to the most delicious non dairy product I have ever tasted...Califia Farms AlmondMilk Vanilla Creamer @ 15 calories per Tbs. Fabulous with coffee and Heavenly with fresh strawberries! Thank you, Susan *

New Seasons is a great choice for natural foods shopping. They have a wonderful selection of cheese and beer and fresh bread. The meat is great and they have a good selection of pre-seasoned items that are easy to toss on the grill without a lot of prep. The staff is great and theyll even open new checkouts if the line gets too long.

It truly is the friendliest store in town. One afternoon I stopped by when I desperately needed 10 minutes of wifi, and watched 4 different store crew members enthusiastically greet, chat with, and give small jobs to a multipli-handicapped young man. That was a heart-melter. This location also has an incredible floral section.

The staff here is very friendly and professional. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the selection could be better as well as the pricing. This store is so similar to Whole Foods but they lack so many choices in the bulk and frozen sections that I am accustomed to seeing at Whole Foods and even Trader Joes.

Caters more towards those who need gluten free frozen pizza. Mostly a pricey place. Honestly what irks me the most is how much the staff chit chat with customers at the check out line. It seems friendly but it really slows the while process down and the wait really sucks.
