I would rather be torn apart by wild dogs than shop at this store, parking is a disaster unless you drive a smart car and take a valium before you leave the house. Horrible produce, HERDS of poorly behaved children and then we come to the bulk food section, where the herds of children hastily shove their filthy little hands in to grab handfulls of what ever is closest, I have seen children eating and playing in the bulk foods.....to disgusting for words! the seafood market smells like.......eeew. Some meats are ok, pork and chicken are a safe bet, (would be better had I not slipped in chicken blood that was all over the floor) chewing on your work boot is a safer bet if your trying to buy a steak. The bakery is mediocre at best, they do however have a good selection of mexican ingredients.. Other than that the only good thing I can see about this store is the exit. I would rather pay a little bit more for a better quality product and not wish I was dead the entire time Im shopping...Ill stick with Costco and Safeway...sorry Winco but you all need to step up your game.

I like WinCo Foods! But I didnt appreciate the Garlic Bread Baker as much as I should have when I had the chance.... Apparently (she/he) retired. Whoever is in charge of making the garlic bread now doesnt put enough butter on the bread - or to the edges of the bread. In addition, the loaf is NOT sliced equally in half as it had been sliced in the past. So the top "half" is about 3 times as thick as the bottom "half". Im just hoping this message gets to the new Garlic Bread Baker so that (she/he) will realize that real people eat these things they prepare. I suspect their goal is to get the goods on the bread rack as quickly as possible... but also, I hope theyll consider that the quality is also important. Thanks!

I recently discovered Winco after shopping at Freddys for a long time. Winco is out of my way but its worth it with the money I save. The meat selection is awesome and the check out lines are fast. Honestly I prefer to bag my own groceries so it works out well. Some of the produce is iffy, but I find the same issue at all major chains in the area. As a professional cook I would love to buy higher quality protiens and produce but as a mother struggling to pay student loans Winco has been a lifesaver.

Winco has the best pricing in Tigard and the employees remember my face. Shop early to avoid rush hours and if possible avoid shopping on day of or day after entitlement checks are received. Good parking and they have several electric chairs with large baskets if you are disabled. Easy to maneuver. Restroom inside to far left past service counter. Bulk section with lots of choices. Small bakery. Pizza and drink by the slice after checkout. 4 self-serve registers. Nice helpful people.

Best balance of low price point and selection. Vegetarian, gluten free, even a few vegan things in the mix. This location has brewers supply in bulk as well and a grinder. Pretty much anything you could want to eat or mix in the bulk bins, good array of spices which are always fresh, huge selection of coffee in whole bean with grinder available. Friendly staff. Deli has all the mammal meats and decent seafood selection. All the big brands and generics at less than most other places.

The pros: Its dirt-cheap grocery shopping. The cons: Is it just me or do all of the shoppers here think theyre the only ones shopping here? High-speed cart pushing, letting children run amok, standing still in front of the lettuce for hours. I thought Trader Joes was bad with its "Hey, lets give little shopping carts to the kids" thing, but the sheer madhouse that is WinCo is insanity on another level. That said, its dirt-cheap grocery shopping.

A surprisingly good grocery experience. If youre new to the area, check it out. Shopping here is actually fun, because it always costs far less than you anticipate. I mean, at checkout youll look over your basket and think you have $80 dollars worth of stuff at a Safeway or Target but when the Winco cashier rings it up, the total is only $50. Guaranteed to make anyone smile!

Prices, great. Selection, good. Meat quality, god awful. For our past 3 visits, weve gotten a different cut of meat. For the 3rd time now, the middle has been greenish... Definitely should of been on its way out, and not into our basket. I guess 3rd time is definitely shame on us, but at least Now we know better. Has anyone else had this experience here recently??

if i could give it a negative i could. had a disgusting experience with one of their senior cashiers, longish white hair, small dark blue glasses. treating me and my family (or lack thereof) in an insultive way & her way or resolution was to glare when i noticed. dont waste your time visiting a place that permits overt racism & discrimination.

I actually did have a bad experience with a bad checker. However, Tim the manager and the rest of his amazing staff stepped right in and made me a happy lady. He has great courtesy staff and I got a five star treatment. Even though the one staff member treated me poorly, I believe she was dealt with appropriately. I will definitely be back.

I love Winco, because they have the best prices anywhere. But the recent remodel has been very disappointing. The parking lot is a nightmare, with no room for larger vehicles to navigate, which blocks traffic for everyone. And the re-arrangement of groceries inside is hare-brained. Put it back!

Winco is such a good place for all of your grocery needs at very reasonable pricing! The only thing that gets me is that right at the front of the store, they have this aisle of sales that you have to walk through and its impossible not to grab like 5 info rigt in the beginning!

I have shopped there repeatedly over the past year for certain items where the price difference is 25-40% below my local market. There has never been a problem with quality, checkout delays or parking. It is a plus that employees are paid a living wage and are stockholders.

I really love shopping at Winco, just wish they could get more of a variety of Fancy Feast cat food, especially the newer ones, they hardly have any variety at all, it upsets me that I cannot do all my grocery shopping in one store, have to yet go to another just for cat food.

I love WinCo! I come here every week and save money on groceries. My shopping experience is always great, I find what I need, the produce is fresh, the meat is fabulous. Cant say enough good about this store. Thanks, WinCo, for helping me feed 3 teenagers and stay on budget! :)

I freaking love how I can go in at 3am (when I come home from work) and can get my groceries and also some sushi or pizza or a sandwich or anything quick an easy. Easily my favorite place to go to get my groceries or if Im randomly hungry at the wee hours of the morning.
