As my first experience here at Corona I rate it high. I was greeted immediately and seated by a friendly host. It was a Tuesday Eve and pretty mellow. For starters the bean dip they bring out with the chips is delicious and the "No Name" appetizer is a must. They were pouring what tasted like a fresh appocolypse IPA plus all the usually Mexican cervza suspects. I took food to go for friends, an el pastor and carne asada burrito and they gave them fives stars as well. Ill be back! In response to Gene Hamiltons review: Im sad for you. Its puzzling to me why you would take the time to write a scathing review over an isolated incident. You noted it was unusually busy yet as a "regular patron" who spends over $200 a month you can not exercise patients and understanding for those over taxed hard working service people, shame on you! Its dispicable that you bring up the money you spend as leverage, get over yourself and realize not everyone around you has time nor wants to be invited to your pitty party.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! The unfortunate thing is we have been eating at this restaurant almost every week for awhile, months. After an experience like tonight, NEVER AGAIN!!! Do the math, we spend over $200 a month, that is over $2000 over the last year. The restaurant was slammed, which was unusual. I ordered a Corona 3 different times. The funny thing is the charge made its way to my bill, just that the beer never made it to my table. When I pointed it out to the server, he said oops and removed the charge, said if we came back he would give us free alcohol. SERIOUSLY!?!??!? When I brought it to the gal at the front desk, she said they were too busy to help me right then. I pointed out that we eat there every week and she said, yes, we know that. Unbelievable. Regardless of who we were, good service is a right of everyone!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK, BUT I WILL TELL EVERYONE!!!!

My portion was a half a cup of rice and a half a cup of beans they must be running out at 5:00 in the afternoon. My my chili Rellenos had no egg on them or sauce. My husbands had lots of egg on it and red sauce how can two meals be so different and served at the same time and hard chilis in the inside. My margarita came on ice I said I would like it blended he was not happy he should have asked me when I ordered it. There was no taste of Tequila in the drink so ordered a shot to put in the drink initially when we entered, I asked for a booth near the fire place. They said its not on. Not on! It was 5:00 pm on a very rainy day, how cheap! $42.00 is not a cheep dinner.and 5.95 for the shot of Tequila to put a $8.95 margarita. will never go there again

The food was decent enough. A little of watery though, and it lacked flavor and spice. Also, the refills on soda are not free. $2.25, and you only get one refill. Pretty steep price considering its not free refills. When I asked the waiter about it to double check what Id read on the menu, he tried to push me on a margarita instead, but I dont drink. Honestly, youll get better food at Taco Del Sol, Don Pedros, or Don Chicos. Come here to drink magaritas and alcohol with some Mexican food on the side. If youre like me and you dont drink alcohol, save your money and go to Taco Del Sol, Don Pedros, or Don Chicos instead. Youll get better food at a lower price, and sodas have free refills.

My wife and I went to lunch today, and it was the best Mexican food I have had in a long time, and I usually eat Mexican once every two weeks. We were heading to our usually spot and noticed this and decided to try it. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge and fresh. They have every Mexican beer on tap you could imagine at reasonably prices as well. Im not sure why this place has no ratings other than it has only been in business for about a year. I will be a regular from here on out.

Ive never posted a review before but I wasnt impressed or satisfied with this place. I came based on the reviews and was disappointed. The food was blan, the carne asada had no flavor. The chimichanga was smaller than my hand. The carnitas was dry and the salsa lacked salt. Being from Arizona Ive experienced all sorts of Mexican food and this was not good. There are better tasting Mexican food restaurants in Tigard. The service was good though. Oh and the mints were nice!

First, they have a pretty good menu of various types of margaritas. Thankfully, there are several options that dont come mixed with the dreaded, pre-made sweet and sour that makes my stomach hurt. Many are mixed with fresh-squeezed lemon, lime & orange juice combo, which is a winner for me. The food is your standard Mexican food. Theres not really anything unique on the menu, but our dishes have been good and the service has been great.

My family and I love to eat at Corona. We are from California and had a hard time adjusting to Oregon initially because we were used to Mexican restaurants and taquerias being everywhere. When we discovered Corona it felt like we were back home eating at some of our favorite restaurants. The service is always friendly and they make you feel very well taken care of.

The staff was wonderful and we had very minimal wait time for any of our order. They had the perfect suggestions for those who are indecisive. All of the food was delicious and fresh. I will be going back to work my way through the menu, though the chile rellenos burrito with added chicken was perfect for this indecisive eater.

Staff was very professional, friendly, and genuine. Food was great - went for lunch 2 days in a row. Large portions and great price. Was so pleased I left my first restaurant review...Ever. As a travelling consultant who eats out twice a day, I think that says a lot in itself. Recommend the super burrito.

The server was nice (but slow) and it is a nice size restaurant. The food was not impressive. The chimichanga was 1/2 the size of a normal one. The carne asada and salsa that comes with chips was very bland. It lacked salt, pepper and/or adobo. They need a new chef in order for me to return.

Tastes like home. The food from this place is most similar to the Mexican restaurant food I grew up eating in Arizona. Their beans are particularly delicious. And one of the few places in town Ive found sopapillas. The food is always well prepared, generous portions and friendly staff.

Great selection of Mexican and local beers. All your favorite Mexican platter dishes - I really enjoy their fajitas. Great place to grab lunch when you want to get away from the office or to grab a beer with a friend after work.

Good Mexican food and never seems busy the 3-4 times Ive been with my daughters. Good call margaritas, burritos are huge, chips and salsa is good (they have a mild version my daughters love).
