My family visited Cash Brewing last Sunday evening....we arrived at about 8:35 pm after looking up information on the restaurant online showing it open till 11:00 pm. When we arrived, we sat down with our large group of 8 and were promptly told by the hostess that it was last call and they were closing at 9:00.....we asked why does the website show 11:00 and the Manager stated that they cant get that changed no matter how hard they try. We then said, we can go if you are closing soon and they said "oh no, we are doing a slow close" and its no problem...to take our time. We then decided to stay and ordered drinks and an appetizer but my wife specifically asked if anything on the menu was off limits as they were close to closing and the waiter said absolutely not....order anything (we are not about being difficult as we are also in a service business and I have never rated or reviewed anything online in the past). My daughter enjoyed her specialty lemonade until she took a drink and caught a piece of glass in her mouth....we took the drink to the front where the waiter said "no way!" and said that his Manager would be over to talk to us....we had no issue, things happen and the chip on the edge of the glass showed that it was just an accident....the Manager did come over and was very gracious and apologized over and over and asked if my daughter would like something else....she said that she just wanted another of the same as it was good....we proceeded with our dinner and all was good until we began to receive our food in increments.....we did not get the appetizer, and the food came out at different times which we attributed to the fact that they were almost closed. When everyone had their dinners and my son was sitting across from me with no food the Manager came out with a plate of french fries and apologized and stated that his pizza was going to take a little longer because the first one had been over cooked. (Also understandable and a good gesture to bring out the fries) We continued to eat and overall the meals were adequate...not great by any means but again, it was late and we were a large group. My prime rib was really loaded with garlic (too much in my opinion) and the baked potatoes were small, over cooked and tough and considered "loaded" with an up-charge of $1.00 for tab of butter and a teaspoon of sour cream was a little over the top. The biggest issue we all had and the only real reason that I am taking the time to write this is that when the check came, not only was my daughters replacement drink on the bill but so was the original one with the glass chip....the only thing that we were not asked to pay for was the fries. Again, we are not about getting something for free or taking advantage of others mistakes for our own benefit, but we thought that it was in very poor judgement that this restaurant chose not to offer some sort of consolation for a drink my daughter didnt even receive.....maybe just an over sight, but we paid the bill and included a 20% tip as we feel that service is difficult and it is not a perfect world.

The beers are pretty good and diverse. The menu has a few pleasant surprises you wouldnt expect from a bar and grill like delicious sashimi tuna served with wasabi, soy, and a chili sauce. Its as good as any tuna youd get at an actual sushi joint. The jalapeno poppers are actually whole jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese and herbs. They are enormous. Kids meals come with a dessert included. They really milk the flatbread thing, even using it as a pizza crust which Im not a fan of but its not bad, just not what I would consider a pizza. The fish they use for their fish and chips is a little bland. Could use a bit more spicy in the breading or a brine. Nothing some salt and tarter sauce cant fix though. The service has always been great every time Ive been. The atmosphere is of a dark sports bar but its not overly noisy like many are. Theres a small outdoor patio that catches a nice cool breeze off the inlet on hot days. None of my nitpicks were bad enough to make me feel like they deserve anything less than five stars. The fantastic tuna alone will keep me coming back here as long as its on the menu.

I attended a small (about 20 people) dinner professional meeting in the upstairs conference room. The service was a little disappointing. Even though they knew what time we had planned to eat, and had all of our entre choices, they didnt serve the meals until the middle of the presentation. Then, they were oblivious enough to interrupt the speaker, in the middle of him talking, to ask what they should do with his meal. I applaud him for not giving the obvious answer!?! Then, well after everyone had their meals, they finally passed-out ketchup to the tables. We all looked at each other because most of the fries were already gone! Individual servers were nice and tried hard, but they were clearly poorly-managed and/or trained in these types of events. Food was tasty, but portions were small for what we paid. Their craft beers were on the sweet side, even the IPA; not my preference.

By far one of my favorite places to eat in Kitsap. They offer a great variety of food menu items along with a huge selection on their own brewed beers and your typical favorite alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. Im a huge fan of the Fish Tacos, Ichiro Tuna, and their wings. Top must eat place here in Kitsap county.

Had the ahi burger. It tasted like a salt patty, was drenched in what I think was thick soy sauce and the Tuna was over cooked and hard to eat. The price was also steep for the type of food and the atmosphere.

Its hard to find a place that has a passion for what they are trying to do! These folks are great all around (food, ambience, and service!)
