Very horrible experience. Upon being served my breakfast, my eggs had a long black hair on them. Yuck. Politely, I returned my plate, claiming the hair wasnt mine. I was served again, with nothing more the a sheepish, sorry. When the bull came, I was shocked to learn the meal wasnt camps. The eggs were, as was a small fruit cup of cataloupe that was hard and had green on nearly each piece. I mentioned it wasnt ok that the meal wasnt compd, and she said "I did comp the fruit cup. That just never happens." Wonder if she would feel similar if upon eating at a restaurant she discovered a hair in her meal? Maybe Ill check with the health departments to see what they think? Really dont want anyone to have to go through this. YUCK!

Kept driving by the site offering a "Special Pastrami" sandwich for $8.95, a reasonable price if it were good. Good it was not. We stopped and inquired about the sandwich and got a very cryptic reply but ordered to go anyway. Got it home and found a very small, grilled, greasy, dry pastrami meat sandwich. Granted they wanted to put grilled onions and tomatoes on the sandwich which to us was not a pastrami sandwich so we ordered it without the onions and tomatoes. Either way it was a disappointment. Wanted a good pastrami and what we received was not good. Way to greasy and little taste.

There breakfast selection is great. I have eaten there several times. I love there French Toast Breakfast with eggs and your choice of bacon, sausage, or sausage patty. I always get a hot beverage to go along with my meal. There deserts look so delicious the last time I was in they had chocolate cheese cake and enormous cinnamon rolls. The staff is always friendly and personable. This was one of my aunts favorite places to eat and mine as well. I like to go inside but they also have a drive up window in the back.

Sticky table, sticky menu. Fatty & greasy corned beef hash doused w. Gravy (why?) All covered w. Black pepper so thick it was a choking hazard. Inedible after I picked off the egg. Waitress was sure no pepper is added except mixed into the gravy until I showed her one bite of the hash with too many pepper grains to even count. Oh and a gummy, heavy biscuit. Second time we have tried this local restaurant. Disappointed both times, we will not be back. Warning to others, ask details before ordering.

The food was good, but service was non-existant and filled with mistakes. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 20 to get it. It was not busy at all. The waitress forgot the to order the side of hashbrowns and forgot no peppers. She did apologize. If we had brought our children we would have walked out before even placing our order. Food was delicious though. Not sure if I would try it again though... this was our second time with poor service there

Greasy, bland, overpriced, lunch-lady food. I got brunch to go home. The biscuits and gravy where very gelatinous as if it was just out of a can. They were cold (I live right down the street so not a long commute). The corn-beef is thin and comparable to salty lunch meat packet dumped on some potatoes that were so greasy i could not stomach them. The cinnamon roll was stale. The food was terrible.

The food are almost comparable to other breakfast joint in the area. I mean, theres really not much mistake you can do with eggs, links and bacon. The french toast is okay. Their chicken fried steak and gravy I think is on the bland side and a little salty. The batter is also thicker than the meat so you cant taste the meat. I like Annettes and Word of Mouths CFS better.

Real good, pretty popular and rightfully so. The place is packed around breakfast/lunch hours, though thats partially due to its small dining room size (about as big as a medium housess kitchen and living room). Expect to wait up to a quarter hour for seating during the rush. Great tasting gravy and breakfast quesadilla! Though a bit on the spendy side for a breakfast.

Good home-cooked breakfast, the corned beef hash is good and most all breakfast items. customer service is friendly and you can usually find a good conversation with another customer. The building is like an old big house converted. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because I have called in the past and they have been closed before their scheduled hours.

Heard great things from friends so I thought I would try out. Have been 3 times now and everything was great! Great variety of food choices. Breakfast was great 2 of the 3 times and lunch was excellent! I love that most things here are from scratch and not a can or box. Highly recommend this neat little place!

Best food and service in the Salem area. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast burrito is hands down the best Ive ever tasted. I started coming here a few months ago, and it quickly became the spot. Never had a bad experience. You gotta try it!

This place has really good breakfast and their coffee is pretty good. I recomend it to everyone. Some might thing the fact that its a house is strange but I think its cool. I imagine renovating it into a house to actually live in. The food is super good.

Friendly service, neat atmosphere. This is the kind of place that will learn your name and treat you like family. You can tell they have a lot of regulars. They have a drivethru if you are in a hurry, but I recommend slowing down and going inside.

The food was great, the service was friendly and fast. Nice homey yet understated atmosphere. Add in a drive thru and youve got a perfect local alternative to the fast food scene. Will definitely become a repeat customer!

Charming, authentic place with very good heartland items like chicken fried steak, and huge fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Feels like a country farmhouse.

Corned beef hash was outstanding! Best Ive had in decades. Biscuit and hash browns were wonderful. The French Toast was tender and succulent. Must return!
