God awful. I have to preface this review by saying that I was never on the huge "OMG FIVE GUYS THEYRE THE BEST EVAR!" bandwagon that popped up several years ago. The first time I got one about four years ago was inarguably the best, even despite all the semi-let-down hype, it was still pretty good. Every time since however has been a letdown, even with modified expectations. Its almost like the more I lowered said expectations, remembering to expect nothing more than a slightly-above-par fast food burger, the results lowered with them. This particular chain in Gresham only warrants a review because of how godawful it is. Ive eaten here twice now, and dumped $30 on a grand total of four burger and two orders of fries. The first time was eaten in the restaurant, the second time we drove it the whopping five minute drive home before eating. Both times, unfortunately, yielded the exact same results: soggy, clay-like bun, cold burger, unmelted cheese, and just very gross in general. I honestly have no clue how this particular branch can have a 3.5 star review. Have most people never eaten a decent burger? Is the prevalence of McBurgers to blame for such incredibly poor overall taste? Ugh, what IS it??! HOW?? When you wait 15 minutes for a fresh to order burger to be completed, and the burger STILL never reaches a great enough temp to melt the cheese directly on top of it (regardless of whether you have it right away, or give it a few minutes with its own heat in the bag), something is wrong. When the bun turns into the texture and consistency of raw dough, regardless of eating it immediately or letting it sit a few minutes, something is wrong. For those who say the fries save the experience...no. They taste bitter even fresh and steaming hot from the fryer. The mounds of salt dont even begin to hide the rank flavor. The fries themselves take no time whatsoever to become gummy, soggy, and mealy. Not even going to comment on the grease factor, or the fact that a large is nearly 1500 calories (presumably due to said grease). Absolutely disgusting. When I spend $5 on a burger, I expect it to be better than a $2 burger from jack in the box. Hasnt happened here. Gave it a second try just in case I was missing something, but Im not. This locations food is horrid. $30 on two absolutely disgusting meals for nothing. YUCK. Never again, even if I was desperate. Let me reiterate: There is NO excuse for a cold, gummy burger. Especially when it takes 15 minutes to put the thing together. Jesus H, this is the worst food Ive eaten in a while, and this is coming from someone who has gone to a Sharis recently. I have a feeling that the 5guys obsession is more front than substance. Does anyone actually like this garbage? Or do you just feel like you should because its hyped as a "better burger"? Seriously. If you want a TRULY better burger and are craving that subway-style order what you want toppings, hit up wow burger at cascade station. Infinitely better burgers and fries, and costs pretty much the same.

GRESHAM FIVE GUYS- THIS PLACE WAS DISGUSTING. I asked for grilled onions and got RAW. I asked for grilled mushrooms and I got cold canned mushrooms. My husband asked for green peppers on his burger and got RAW GREEN BELL PEPPER slices on it. Who eats raw bell peppers on their burger?! Fries were old, soggy and flimsy. This was my first time eating here in 3 years, no wonder why I havent been back in so long! You would think this place isnt so bad because you see other people eating inside, but if your USED TO eating LOW QUALITY, thrown together meals, than you wouldnt mind this place at all. If Im going to pay $7 for a burger, Id like to actually get what I payed for and I would like the presentation to be nice. Id also prefer fresh fries. Believe me, I wont be suggesting this place to anyone!

What a treasure for Gresham to have. Five Guys has the best burger you can get in under 10 minutes. I have no reservations saying that. Everything is fresh made-to-order. Theyre consistently generous with the top notch fries. There are peanuts-in-the-shell for you to snack on while you wait. Theres not too much on the menu, and this is good. They know what they do well and they stick to it. This restaurant is no different from any of the other branches Ive visited. Great staff, clean dining room (peanut shells on the floor of course), and nice location-- you get to park in the giant parking lot and can walk to shop at fred meyer after eating your fill.

Best things about this place is tat the burgers are super fresh and so are the fries. Soda is the best idk how their fountain drinks taste better than most places but they do. My problem is the burgers are really a premium price for a pretty normal burger I paid about $23 for my wife and I. Which is way too much considering id rather have Carls Jr. Instead for half the price. Not to mention I had killer burger for about $7 less for my wife and I. All in all good food for not so good of price ill only eat here once a year.

Some of the best burgers you can get without breaking the bank. Their standard cheeseburger is a double with bacon. You can choose from a ton of different options to add to your burger as well. They have hotdogs, grilled cheese, custom milk shakes, and even the smaller orders of fries are actually a lot. One of my favorite burger places for sure.

The service is great, every single one of the staff member always has a happy look in their face. The food is amazing so many ways you can customize your burger. The line isnt a problem at all and the wait for your food crazy fast. Trust me it will not disappoint!

The burgers were okay, tasted like quality meat, though better buns and cheese would take them far. Burgers even seemed a little smooshed. Was disappointed, heard good things about the place but they didnt deliver on the hype.

An excellent Five Guys experience as always! The staff was friendly, the restaurant itself felt clean, and the food was absolutely delicious! Their menu may be a bit small, but all of their food tastes phenomenal!

Glad that I went here for dinner. The burgers were some of the best that I have ever had, but just a little pricey. If you have money to spend on a quality burger, make sure to come here.

I have eaten at other 5 guys , none of them had any flavor , bun gets soggy before you get to sit down to eat , only thing good is they give lots of french fries, but they are just so so.

Great burgers as always. Love to get them fresh off the grill and definitely get the cajun fries. Just be aware that the waits can be a bit long if you are looking for truly fast food.
