Out of all of the Olive Garden locations that weve been to, this one has been the worst. We did get seated right away and that was the best thing about this visit. It was my wife and Is 20th wedding anniversary and I hadnt made any reservations. Olive Garden doesnt accept same day reservations but it was a Wednesday so we just showed up with a party of 6. We got seated right away and the waiter came over and took our drink order. Then he spent quite a while explaining the 8" touch screen tablet that was sitting on our table. Pretty soon, you wont even need a waiter at a restaurant because we could order all of our needs on this impersonal little machine right from our table and even pay our check with it. My question is, do you leave a tip if you have a machine do all of the work? Olive Garden prides themselves on offering you endless salad and breadsticks so I get really confused when they take your order and they ask you if you would like soup or salad with your entree. I mean, isnt the salad a given? Arent they going to bring your endless salad anyways? If you choose the soup do you not get to eat any of the salad? Im confused... Anyways, the salad and breadsticks and and the breadsticks were horrible. So hard that you couldnt hardly bite through them. We addressed this with our waiter and he brought out some fresh breadstick but after a few minutes of them cooling off, the same thing happened. They turned too tough to eat. Things didnt get much better when our entrees came out either. My wife had the ravioli in alfredo sauce and she barely ate half of it. It just wasnt good and I ordered the herb roasted salmon from the special menu. The fish looked absolutely nothing like the photo on the menu and tasted worse. A side of broccoli came with my fish and it was hard to swallow as well. Undercooked? Overcooked? Im not sure but it was bland and cold and dry and soggy all at the same time. Kudos for the spicy calamari that we had on our appetizer sampler though, that was delicious! You could tell our waiter was new at his job as he stumbled through every sentence when addressing our table and his etiquette needs a lot of work but I gave him a pass since he is obviously new. At least I hope he is new. If we ever did go back and he served us and was still so green under the collar, Id be a little suspicious of the training program provided by place. Instead of would you like a refill or would you like me to etc... it was, you want me to bring? You want me to get? Maybe thats the new standard. Overall, this was a bad experience at the Olive Garden. One that wont have us returning any time soon if ever to this location. Its disappointing because weve come to have such a great expectation of the place because of our previous experiences so when they drop the ball like this, you have to wonder whats going on around there. Thanks for reading.

Went to the Federal Way restaurant and pick Mussels as an appetizer (~$11) and a dish of prawns with pasta (~$18). The mussels were very small, overcooked and with texture more like rubber than seafood. But what is most upsetting is the dish advertising pictures given to the customers to make their selection. None of the dishes that I selected looked at all like the pictures. To just take the prawn dish for example, the pictures clearly shows a serving of several large (likely 15-20 /lb) good looking and well presented prawns on a bed of pasta . The reality is that the dish included small (40-50 /lb) un-appetizing prawns on a bed of overcooked pasta smothered with what supposed to be a cheese sauce. Nothing looking like the picture. I was actually tempted to send back the dish. Dont be fooled by the picture of the dishes. It is not what you will get. It is overpriced for what I would consider very mediocre food. The lady who did the service was nice. About the only good thing.

Visited the Olive Garden today with a couple of coworkers Im close with. We were helped today by Cindy. I really have nothing bad to say about today period. We had a little wait to get in, but going at dinner time, we expected that. As soon as we got in we were constantly helped, it almost seemed like we were her only table, even though we could see her helping many other tables. When she was helping us, Cindy was very fun, and funny, as well as professional and helpful. The food was amazing! I got soup (I love their salad, and have never tried soup) and loved the Zuppa Toscana soup!!! I filled up so much in the soup, I barely ate any of the super delicious five-cheese ziti al forno, which just blew my mind how delicious it was!! I was happy to bring the rest home to finish tomorrow. To sum up, I was very impressed with the customer service, the feel that for well for our social visit, and the food that really impressed me!

I love Olive Garden and usually always have a great experience with our regular waitress Jen . Unfortunately yesterday was and terrible experience for our family . We were a group of 8 and had two servers Tony and Hope , it took about 20mins for them to come and take our DRINKS . As they were taking our drink Tony was EXTREMELY rude to not only us but the other server , Hope . This made our entire table uncomfortable. As he was passing out the drinks he rudely told me to move my phone , didnt ask but told me to move my phone . Fast forward we are done eating our food and everyone is paying and leaving and he has the audacity to accuse my husband who was paying cash for not paying ! Then when my husband told him he paid cash he then grabbed the bill and counted the money RIGHT IN FRONT OF US !!!!!!!!!!!. Terrible terrible terrible service .

We were seated by a nice young lady and she said our server would be by shortly, well shortly turned into half hour later and she still was t around, so I see the host and told her we still havent seen anyone. She appologizes and said she will get someone. Another 10 minutes goes by and she came back and said she would take our drink order while we waited for our server. We ordered two margaritas and a smoothly for our two year old. Our server finally came close to an hour later and said sorry I just got on shift. Took another 15-20 minutes for our drinks to come, so over an hour to get 4 drinks. We then ordered and everything else went kinda smoothly from there, but didnt offer us anything for our wasted time. It wasnt an enjoyable wait with a toddler,. We were quit disappointed at the service, but the food was decent.

Went here on a date with my girlfriend one evening. The wait wasnt too bad and we were seated in a nice corner promptly. Ordered a two person meal special for $25 with an appetizer, two entrees from a list of about ten and shared desert. The food wasnt bad but nothing special and I would not even insult Italian cuisine to say it was comparable. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us regularly. If you are looking for a quick bite out and dont mind dropping 10 bucks for one glass of wine to go with your meal this is the place. If you want real Italian food that isnt just prepared meals that have been heated for you, find a smaller family owned restaurant (not always easy to locate in the NW). Suffice to say our expectations for a faux-foreign-food chain were met.
