Someday I am going to work up the courage to eat at Celebrities and when I do, I promise to edit this review and at the very least adjust the star level.... I really hope the food is good.... but dude... Im scared. Celebrities is the weirdest bar in Portland. I mean, its awesome. It is just about as east side as you can get. Its a dive with 2 pool tables in great shape (could use to replace their cues or at least tips more often). They pour a mean a$$ drink on the cheap. This is the type of place you go when you have wadded up your last few fivers in your front pocket, but you aint done yet. Those fiversll get you more drink than most places in Portland. But the real treat at this place.... its the god damn music. This super east county apparent bastion of whiteness... its got soul and funk and R&B on music nights!!! If you get lucky and get in this place on a night where there is music and somebody is celebrating a birthday or something.... awwwwww damn... its amazing!!! Seriously... head to this place on any second Saturday night of the month. Cool Breeze!! Gah!!! Oh man... just do it. Just go! I know you wont want to.. its too far... but its not!! its right off the freeway. Its probably easier to get to than most hipster spots in Portland. Ill see you there. I love this spot!

Kind of operates like two separate businesses. Celebrities is the bar in the back, Parkway Grill is the family friendly restaurant in the front. I dont ever go to the bar side, but it seems to be a popular evening spot for the neighbors. The restaurant has a classic American diner menu, noticeably higher quality ingredients than most on the other places to eat in the neighborhood. Quick and friendly service. Its easy to be in and out in a half hour.

Oh My Word! I just went here after reading reviews, thinking it was probably decent. Soo good! I needed a good dose of bar food and that is basically what it was! Big servings, great quality, super fast service, very nice people working there! I am very pleased! The prices are fair, too! My kids are 8 & 9, so they couldnt finish theirs since they dont have kid portions, but that just means they got 2 meals in 1!

Food was good. Very quiet place when we stopped to eat with the kiddos at 2:30pm. We were the only ones on the restaurant side. The only issue was we were told one price with the waitress, and when we had someone else finish serving us he overcharged us. Disappointing.

Shockingly good food! The outside looks sketchy, but inside...wow! Halibut was fantastic! BEST mac & cheese Ive ever tasted! Go! Its totally family friendly!!
