... it goes really, really wrong. First Sunday they did brunch: It took 16 minutes to bring us a drink. there were 9 people in there and a bartender and two wait staff. We ordered. They seated another group of 5 in dribbles about 10 minutes later. 8 minutes later the waitress returned to tell me the last of the item I ordered had been cooked and I needed to pick another item . I did, with the specification: no pork please. 5 minutes later that illusive item was served to the party that sat behind me. A couple minutes later my meal showed up. With pork. And my companions order was not hers, it was a different dish. It took another 10 minutes, and a (polite) mention of the menu item hand off to the later seated group to get our food (not the item I wanted of course, but it did look good from afar). It was still incorrect. Thanks to the long wait between visits we walked up to the bar to order the next bloody mary, to which he replied "Well I guess I better check we charged you for that first one!". Yes, please, after our 49-50 minute wait to even get some food we can actually eat, you should totally overcharge us for those drinks... by all means.... The drink was wrong anyway. The waitress tried to save the day by comp-ing our meal, and I am no dummy, I know it was a kitchen mistake"... But, hell, talk to each other for 30 seconds while you toss up tickets... It wasnt busy in there, so please just check for a sec and see what might be going up in the window, or what the cook is working on for your table..... and bring us the bread we asked for - 3 times. And didnt get. The final product was "Ok" but by then we were starving and needed to finish up so we could compare notes and write a darn review. And while the waitress comp-ed the food, we still tipped her, as I knew she was truly trying to get it all back on track. And I give A for effort, even if it was a hail mary. But in the end - this meal went sideways with little recovery and was NOT worth the wait. Meh. Not worth the $. Even free.

I have regarded the Paragon as one of my favorite places to eat in Seattle for the last 3 years. Now I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! After raving about the Paragon to my parents (and craving a portabella burger), I took them there after a day at the SAM. Immediately I was handed a muttled down brunch menu complete with grease stains and food residue. The menu was disappointing and I had my doubts. I was confused and asked where the lunch menu was. The waitress told me that they were now only serving brunch and that both the prior cooks had quit. I had a sinking feeling in my gut that the food was going to be bad. Man, I was more than right about this! The $11 Ceaser salad with calamari I ordered was HORRIBLE!!! The lettuce was obviously taken from a pre-made salad package, there was only a teeny tiny bit of salad dressing and the calamari had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. And the lemonade was 3 parts water! The bill (gasp!!!) came out to $40!!! And that was 3 dishes of food subpar to a fast food joint! What happened to the fabulous Bruschetta?? And the terrific Portabella Burger?? You think another cook would be able to make these dishes with no problem. Not like the recipes are THAT hard. It was once worth it to travel from the Eastside and sit in the hard wood benches for their great dishes! Next time instead of spending $40 at the Paragon. Take your parents to McDonalds instead. You will save about 30 bucks and the cooks have more experience and expertise.

Due to the great location and ambiance, we gave this place a second chance after a lackluster first visit. What a mistake! Drinks were small and so weak its hard to know how they qualified as a cocktail. (Especially at those prices!) The food was mediocre -- fish & chips and mac & cheese -- and fairly expensive, especially given portion size. The server was one of the worst weve ever had. Though it wasnt crowded, it was impossible to get her attention, she knew nothing about the drinks or menu, acted inconvenienced by questions, stood chatting with coworkers while our drinks sat waiting on the bar. I could go on.... So, this was it. Well never go to Paragon again....

Came down from corpus for business and decided to eat here my wife and I had the floutitas., The food was very good and the service was prompt., The reason why Im giving it three stars is because before around dinner time we have gone to get the ponchos which have to be in them only to find out they run out of beef for the day and its only like 4 PM . A restaurant running out of food before they close is just ridiculous considering there is an H-E-B just across the street.

It was our first time in Seattle and our friends took us to their favorite local bar where they always hang out :) This place was very nice. One of those local bars that has been around for ages so people know one another here. Good cocktails and beer and bar food (although we didnt have any). Loved the fireplace, we all got cozy there with our drinks and having chit chats. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Would definitely return.

Great atmosphere and low light setting for some tasty drinks and flavorful food. We had the Maple Glazed Salmon with Sweet Potato Fries/Brussel Sprouts, and it was fantastic! Only thing was the Brussel Sprouts couldve been crispier, but that may be from my home cooking personal taste. The combinations of flavor were all there, and the drinks truly complimented the meal. Would totally be back to get it again if I could.

Service and staff were excellent! From start to finish we were taken care of extremely well. The beer was cold, food delicious, everything was great. Live music is incredible here, definitely the best spot on Queen Anne to hear lots of great local (or visiting?) artists.

1st time was ok. 2nd time BURNT BURGER! THIS will be the last time gave me COLD AF FRIES, bartender never check back with me! Over priced with poor service, should have gone to Dicks and bought my own wine! This was on a Sunday no excuse for this experience!

I love this place but I get sick every time I eat there because the chef uses so much salt. I stick to a cocktail now. Also, the table service is not that great since the waitresses have to run back and forth between the front and the back.

Im a Norwegian astronomy astronaut from New Zealand and I was hungry so I came here. Amazed of their service and respect for my background. Best chilli dogs with oyster sauce in the city of Nebraska.

If you from another culture, you should not forget the first greeting. It will bring a good service. Male employee were very friendly to us. I recommend Chicken breast dish. Really great.

During a 1 week trip to Seattle, I spent several nights at Paragon. Great food, drinks, and excellent staff. Live music there was outstanding. Easily the best bar in the Queen Anne area.
