We were guests at the Crowne Plaza hotel and decided to grab a late night snack, since we were staying and this place was convenient. First of all, we were unsure of how the seating worked, so we assumed it was self-seating. We found a nice table near the bar, and waited for someone to come greet us. We sat there for five minutes without anyone saying hello or offering us a drink. So, my poor husband went up to the bar, thinking that maybe we needed to order drinks there. The staff and bartender ignored him. We waited a while longer and then decided if we arent worth their time, then we probably didt want to dine here. I guess we werent not the only ones with this dilemma that night. There was a middle-aged gentleman in the elevator with Subway who had a similar problem: he had sat at the bar for 20 minutes waiting for service, and when they brought him his drink it was wrong. -_- Seriously, how hard is it to greet a customer? Anyways, I hope folks who are visiting our hometown wont find that their restaurant experiences in Seattle are all like this.

Had the breakfast buffet. Good food. Very high price but I had a discount that made it normally priced. However, they have an automatic 19% service fee or "tip" based on original price. First off, the original price was so over inflated that basing the tip on that is unrealistic. Second, a "tip" should be based on quality of service, not automtic. "Hidden fee" would be a better term for it. Unfortunately this is not the only restaurant I have seen do this.

Really good food with fine service. Salmon sandwich, Mac and Cheese, and burger all very good with reasonable prices for Seattle. Beer selection is ok but not notable. Nice desert list if one has room (we did not). Did not try but saw the tacos which look very good and certainly are on my list for next visit.
