Had their Fried Chicken a year ago when i was visiting was very good and place looked alot better and cleaner than it dose now on.this visit so of course I order the Fried chicken this Year only to be very disappointed Chicken was Over done and almost brunt plus oil tasted old almost ransid my dinning mate said yes looked over done almost brunt. So when I called our Sever over and told him he immediately said the chickens not brurt over done. I told him this is not how I had their chicken before and to me it tastes Burnt Over done and the oil tasted bad he informed his manager then came back and said he would take the chicken off the bill but that I couldnt take the chicken home with me. I asked him why does he think I would take the chicken home if I didnt want to eat it then Im not going to eat it later crazy they should have comp me for the small amount of over cooked soggy veggies and awful mashed potatoes and gravy with bits and pieces of raw potato in it My this place is nothing like it was last year server was very cocky with me and I could hear the cook yelling at him that his food was good and there must be something wrong with me. I was so embarrassed sitting at my table he was yelling so loud. If he cant please the customer youre serving and feeding food to dont shame them and embarrass them in front of others I will never go to this place again

As we left out the door after our meal here yesterday I looked at my girlfriend and said..."take a look around....well never be back in here". The waitress who seated us was friendly....she took our breakfast order and brought us coffee around 10:30. Our food did not arrive for 30 minutes. The restaurant was way less than half full and it appeared there was plenty of staff. Were looking around and at each other wondering what the problem could be. It was just oatmeal and an omelet we ordered. The cook seemed preoccupied with himself and chatter. The food was delivered by a young man who just put the plates in front of us and was gone. I had ordered home fries and got hash browns. No one ever came by to ask how our order was. Our waitress finally came back to our table with a bill when we were finished eating.....but just laid it on the table and never asked if everything had been OK. As we went to the register to pay we and another couple had to wait quite some time to pay our bill. Again it was our waitress who came to the register....and we were never asked how the meal was. She just took our money and moved on. The carpet around the register was so dirty the soles of my shoes stuck to some crud on it. Im new to Eugene and have found many wonderful places to eat here......unfortunately....this is not one of them.

We have been there twice now, once with the whole family (6 of us) and once with just my husband and I with our 10 month old grandson.. Both times it was terrible. Service was ok until you got your food and then they forget about you. Neither time were we asked if everything was ok, if we needed a drink refill, didnt see our waitress/waiter until they brought the bill. Both times when old what was wrong with the meal (a lot) we were told "sometimes thats how it comes out". Today I took my food home to finish cooking it. No one asked a manager to talk to us, in fact today the waiter went down and was laughing with the waitress because I said I would never come back,( I wont). Wouldnt suggest that anyone eat there. Also the person who seated us saw I use a cane and have a hard time walking but he seated us up some steps.

The first time I dined at the Eugene location not only were we ignored for almost the entirety of the meal, we were snubbed when we asked for a check. The waiter acted like it was a big hassle . I am a big be liver in second chances so we attempted to eat there a second time. The second Time we went, we waited for someone to seat us for 8 minutes and it was not busy at all. Then after we were seated we waited 44 minutes without as much as getting a water. We walked out. When I called to talk to a manager the person who answered knew who I was and refused to put me throigh. They said I could come back. When I said I would never be back they hung up on me. The most terrible service I have ever experinced. Do not recommend Eugene location

My wife and I eat at the KOZY quite often after discovering how good it is. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the menu items are great. You get a lot of of food for the price of the meal. Three items that are exceptional are their Navy Bean and ham soup w/cornbread (a special), the Chef Salad is best in town and if you have their spegetti (another special) when they offer it, you get alot more then Olive Garden serves. It comes at a lower price and you get three meatballs with it at no extra cost and the sauce is good.

These other reviewers must have had a different waitress than we did! I think the name of our waitress was Betty (?) and she was great! I ordered eggs, hashbrowns, french toast, and tea - all delicious! They even got the eggs right (yolks runny, whites completely cooked) and restaurants NEVER get that right! My friend got beef stroganoff for about $9 and he liked his too. Our waitress was super speedy about refilling his drink. Overall, great experience! Would LOVE to go back soon!

The staff was wonderful and I love the atmosphere. The food tasted good, however the amount of food the kids get is kinda crazy epically the chicken strips. They were full size chicken breast (like the size of my hand) and really hot. The other thing I didnt like is the fact that you get potato chips with a hamburger, and they arent homemade ones or anything, it was a small bag of Lays chips. And it cost almost $2 to upgrade to french fries. It was okay

Great food and speedy. The country fried steak is the best Ive had in the area and Ive been to a lot of places with it. Meatloaf melt was equally great. Meatloaf was moist and well cooked. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Good arrived quickly and service was pleasant. Didnt quite understand why there was not more people. Prices also great for the amount of food and quality. Would highly recommend. Will come back and try something different next time.

I like Kozy for a quick bite. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy (pun intended). The food is good, not great but good. As for the service, its hit and miss. The servers are "friendly" but some of them seem like its forced. Fake smiles pasted on for the customers benefit which is fine, we all have bad days but this is not a once in a while thing. Over all the dining experience here is good, yes Ill go back but its not going to be a favorite.
