ok so let me start by saying the crab puffs were pretty good.. pork fried rice was pretty dry. but thats about expected in Chinese food. HERES MY PROBLEM. I made a delivery order at 8 tonight. I ordered crab puffs and orange chicken with pork fried rice. It took an hour an 15 minutes to get here, which again, whatever not a huge deal. But I opened my food and they FORGOT the chicken. They gave me the orange sauce, but NO CHICKEN! So i called immediately, and the lady on the phone acted like I was lying and said she packed the order herself. Why would I lie about that? To score some extra chicken? So she said ok well all my drivers are gone I will try to get it out to you when one gets back. Anyways its 10 oclock now, I am ready to go to bed, I already ate my dinner (because I was already really hungry) without the MAIN FOOD. Plus once the chicken gets here I am suppose to just eat it by itself? Will NEVER ORDER AGAIN. and just FYI Kowloon people, I have worked in food industry, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! even if you believe you did pack the chicken, you DONT call the customer a liar! I wish I remembered her name because I would definitely like to call the manager and complain. Retraining is in order.

Honestly i just had the worst experience i have ever had with a restaurant not just delivery. I ordered Lettuce wraps which is $11 dlls for chicken and LETTUCE delivered to the Marriot among other items, and they didnt send the lettuce. Thats like ordering tacos and not getting tortillas! I called and asked if they could do anything for me and they said either a store credit for next time (which i dont live in Oregon), or have another driver in one hour and a half. i already waited hour and a half for my order. 3 hours for lettuce? Or i can go pick it up. Then why did i just spend $10 in delivery fee and tip if i am going to pick it up? Gave me the manager number because he is not at the store. Called 3 times and no answer. called the store. AGAIN. they call the manager and same options. I asked if the can call the driver and see if he just forgot it in the car, and the guy left me on hold for 15 min. I hung up and call again and now i dont even get a response. Cant get my money back for the food i dint get. and not even an im sorry. If it was my restaurant i would call the driver to go buy a lettuce head and deliver!

I dont understand why this place has a 2.9 rating. This place has a cozy atmosphere and a super friendly waitstaff. the seating is spacious and private. A nice view along the river to enjoy while eating. I ordered the Mandarin Beef with steamed rice and Crab Puffs. The portions on each item I ordered was enough to feed 2 people. From ordering my food and receiving it at the table, less than 10 minutes. I did sit in the restaurant for about 2 hours doing some homework and the gentleman that was serving me was very polite and did not bother me every 5 minutes. the dessert menu is AMAZING! They offer desserts from Sweet Life! I ordered the Peanut butter chocolate cake, and it was amazing! I will come back to this restaurant more often. I would like to try more of their menu. Dont let the ratings fool you, this place has scrumptious food, portions that match the price and a friendly waitstaff. I am giving this place 5 stars. Thank you for the awesome experience and I hope to see more people giving this place a higher rating :)

Ordered on line and my credit card notified transaction complete. We waited 1 hr and I called to see if there was a problem and was asked my name (spelling of first and last name) and was told it should be here any moment. Well another 45 min go by and we called again and told that our order was never "went through" I advised the guy that it had indeed gone through and I was getting frustrated. He put me on hold several more times to ask his manager who was "talking to the owner" to offer me a 10$ off a 50$ order and he would put the order in. I said no thank you and he then said my manager said He is willing to give you a full refund. I was shocked as this was the 2nd lie. First one was the first call that he said our order had already gone out for delivery a long time ago. This second was that our order hadnt gone through. If that was the case what was the refund he was "willing" to give us? So disappointed. This place just aint worth 2 hrs of my time. I should have sent them a bill. No thanks not that hungry.

Ordered $41 worth of dinner. Took over an hour and a half to get my food after being told 45 mins. When the food got here it was completely cold. Called the restaurant and waited on hold for a while to talk to a manager who offered to send me more food so my son and I could wait another 45-90 mins for it. No apologies, just attitude. I told him I wanted a refund and he said thats fine but I have to I put the food on the porch for them to come pick it back up. He confirmed that he didnt care if I ever ordered from them again. Well Im glad hes ok with that. I guess you dont have to care about service and losing customers if you have a fresh batch of college students every year to choose from. The little Chinese place on 18th and Willamette by the the closing Blockbuster video has much better food. Too bad they dont deliver but Id rather pick up the food anyway if I get to pay less, get better food, and get better personalities.

Most people know by now that Kowloons changed owners and a lot of the food is different, and honestly doesnt taste as good, but that still hasnt stopped me from going. However, my issue is not with the food itself, but with the servers. I was seated at a table across the restaurant, but parallel to the server station. The three servers were gossiping and talking about how much they hated their jobs, and their shifts, and complaining about customers and talking about who was hooking up with who. Its not like I was eavesdropping either, they were being very loud and disrupting other customers as well. I mean Im all for workplace comradery, and I understand that they are young, but I feel like the conversations they were having were inappropriate, especially within earshot of customers. With this being the second time something like that has happened, I felt I needed to say something.

I just rec my order in about 30 minutes not bad. When I ordered I ask the young man who answered to let cook know I would like fresh wontons since the last time they were old. About a year ago, yes its been that long since i ordered from them for the same reasons , the food sucks. So anyway I am looking forward to my meal. nock nock. Cool food is here, The wontons tasted horrible what they put into it I dont know. Thru it all away. So then the shrimp chow fun how FUN!!. Its should have bean sprouts water chestnuts celery carrots ect.... news flash it had about 15 shrimp small, ( the cost is about 16.00 ) and noodles and one bean sprout but plenty of onions,celery all the cheap stuff. How these people stay in business only god knows.If someone opened another del they would go out of business.
