I should have stopped placing my order on the phone as soon as I called. When I tryed to order something that was not an exact item on their lunch menu by adding on a spring roll it seemed to be a major ordeal, almost inappropriate that she was arguing with me, instead of just trying to get me what I wanted to eat. Id pay for an extra spring roll its not a big deal. Once I got there they didnt have my food ready because they wanted to make sure what I was ordering since it was not on the lunch menu I ended up ordering the dinner twice as expensive. Once I got home to eat they had given me the wrong food, with no spring roll.. not only was the food not what I ordered but the chicken tasted like it had been boiled for hours, or microwaved it was very hard to chew. I wouldnt expect it to be a five star restaurant but not even sure if its a one. Yuck.

I had their Kung Pao Chicken. There was a lot of chicken, minimal veggies, and a fair amount of peanuts. I thought the chicken was too tough. The vegetables were celery, water chestnuts and what appeared to be small pieces of broccoli. I think it would have been better with some green and red bell pepper with onion, and zero broccoli. The peanuts werent cooked with the food long enough, in my opinion. The texture and flavor were off. On the positive side, the food was served quickly and the waitress provided attentive service. I still cannot recommend this place. I was not impressed with the food.

Weve lived in Canby for just over two years and have been dining at Joy Kitchen pretty regularly since then. The food is always served hot (temperature wise), quickly, and its delicious! The sweet and sour chicken is my absolute favorite but all of the chicken dishes are good. I absolutely love the broccoli beef as well. The staff is friendly and assertive... You just cant go wrong with this place! :)

My husband and I discovered this place last year and weve only been about 5 times. But I must say...it gets better and better every time! If thats even possible! The ladies are incredibly nice, and the food is always plated well, and tastes amazingly fresh and delicious! I recommend it to everyone in the area!

This was mine and my boyfriends first time here and it was amazing from beginning to end. The two Chinese women greeted us and sat us down right away. Excellent service, our glasses never stayed empty and they checked on us almost every five to ten minutes. The food was devine (real Chinese food).

I love the service at Joy Kitchen! We are always welcomed in with smiles and hard working waitresses. This small town Chinese restaurant is anything but small when it comes to flavor. Get their Schezuan Chicken, it falls apart in your mouth. 5 stars every single time we visit.

Tonight was our second time eating there since we moved into Canby. The restaurant smells very clean and seating areas are not sticky. Very affordable and the food is super hot when it arrives to your table. Will definitely be coming back.
