Update: had delivery and takeout several times and its always good. Today we dined inside again and the servers were great. Upgrading to 4 stars. =================================== Arrived 2pm Sunday in a group of 4. They were a little over half full. Got our water and menus right away but took 15 minutes to ask what our drink order was, then at least another 15 to actually get them (1 iced tea and 1 thai iced tea). Ordered the curry puff appetiser, they were delicious but very overpriced, $9 for 3. They were the size of about 2 golf balls each. Finally took our dinner order after getting the puffs. Ordered drunken halibut, green curry, Panang curry, spicy chicken with basil, and thai fried rice. They arrived fast (yay) and they were amazing, some of the best thai food Ive had. Loved the spice level, had a nice heat that enhanced the flavor of the dish. Be warned that hot is hot!! Portion sizes were good. My wife found a hair in her dish, they promptly replaced the dish, but the apology was quiet and sounded insincere. No offer of compensation. We had to ask to get our water refilled, to which they gave us a pitcher and walked away. When we were ready to leave it took another 15 minutes to box the leftovers. Overall, service 1.5/5, food 4.5/5. Will try again but may be limited to takeout.

After being mostly disappointed by Portlands Thai offerings so far, my best friend did a quick yelp search while we were out in Beaverton and we decided to check this place out on a whim. We arrived at the start of happy hour, and elected to sit in the bar to get the special menu. Our waiter was really nice, and the atmosphere was relaxed in the bar. All of the food we tried far exceeded our expectations. My barometer for Thai restaurants is always the pad thai -- this one brought me back to the first time I tried the dish - just the right amount of bean sprouts (both cooked in and fresh on top), there were no fillers (shaved carrots), and the sauce wasnt overly sweet. It was just damn good pad thai. We also tried the spring rolls, which were light and flaky, perfect with the dipping sauce. The shining star in my opinion was the tom kha soup. The milky citrusy base was filled with mushrooms, cauliflower, broccoli and other veggies. It was the first time Ive seen it done that way and it WORKED. This place is our new go-to Thai place. (Did I mention the happy hour specials were CHEAP?)

Typhoon is back! Yah, love this place. It is pretty much EXACTLY the same menu, same chefs, etc. as Typhoon used to be. For those of us who absolutely LOVED Typhoon, youll love this. All the same. Just basically changed company name. For those of you who havent been here, WOW! Youre missing out. Plus, they deliver to all over in Beaverton for a really great price!!! Although they only have limited number of drivers so sometimes they cant do a delivery for a long time. Call early in the evening if you want delivery. Anyway, our familys favs are Drunken Noodles (amazing here!!!!), Salad Rolls (better than anyone else!), Tum Yung Gung soup (shrimp. Crazy spicy but you wont care, because it tastes so good!), and Pad Thai Noodles. Crying Tiger is also good. Oh! And if you like the more mild stuff, you cant ever go wrong with the Pinapple Curry!!!!! That stuff rocks! But its pretty mild. Everything here is amazing. Gourmet Thai food at great prices.

We finally made it to Thai Bloom! tonight, and were really glad we did. Its hard not to draw some comparisons to Typhoon, at least in terms of the similar quality and creative nature of these very tasty dishes! Heres what we tried (and loved) on our maiden voyage: Hoi Joh (seafood meatball appetizers), tom kha (always a good test dish, theirs does not disappoint with generous chunks of tender chicken and a perfect balance of ingredients), panang curry, pad see ew, and a couple of their fall specials: Hung-Lay Pork Chops (pork chops marinated with ginger and red curry paste, grilled and topped with spicy tamarind sauce, fried ginger, shallots and peanuts - very tasty), and kong goong-yai (steaming pot of giant prawns with glass noodles, ginger and bacon - also very tasty). The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, we will be back for sure!

I recently moved up to Oregon. My boyfriend and I spent the day in Beaverton and decided to end our day at Thai Bloom! because of all the Yelp reviews. We started our dinner with each a glass of their delicious Thai iced tea and soup as an appetizer, I had a cup of Tofu and Veggie Soup which I found to be a little plain, but the veggies ad tofu were good. My boyfriend had the Tom Kha, he really enjoyed it. For the main dish I had the Pad See Ew, it was really good, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the veggies and the tofu were done well, the sauce combined everything nicely although it could have been a little spicier. My boyfriend had the Crab Pad Thai and he kept going on about it. We ended our evening with my boyfriend getting the Fried Banana and I got the Homemade Coconut Ice Cream. Both desserts were delicious! I cant wait to go back and try their other dishes and desserts!

Yummy!!!! After doing some Saturday shopping at the goodwill across the street, I was lured into the place by the aromatic and delicious smell coming from it. I ordered take out and choose veggie spring rolls and pineapple fried rice. Both were excellent. The rolls were filled with non traditional items like corn and came with perfect plum sauce The real shining star of the meal was my dessert which I treated myself to; sweet sticky rice with homemade coconut ice cream. Served with a liquefied sweet cream sauce and fresh fruit. So amazing with every bite. They gave enough for a second helping of ice cream which I stored in my freezer and am very much looking forward to. I live / work close by and will be back for more and recommending. Many vegan and vegetarian options. This place is a YES!!

Write the next great American Novel while you wait. My family has been here before and had adequate experiences. Appreciated the Vegan options for my family. While on the more expensive side including the spendy cocktails we headed out with high hopes. Tonight was the worst as we waited 20 minutes to order and were largely ignored by the waittess. Heck, it was the bartender who took our orders. This restarted the clock and it was another half hour before we got our COLD food. Groups who has been seated well after us were eating and just about finished when we got our plates. As dinner wound down the server was nowhere to be found. In the time we waited to box everything up, we just ate everything instead. This was easily the worst dining experience I have ever had.
