Hit the spot...After craving pupusas for a long time, my husband and I came here to celebrate a new client we got. We got the cheese and pork & cheese pupusas, and they were delicious. The slaw (curtido) was different than what I am used to, and the restaurant didnt serve the traditional mild, red salsa with the pupusas, but they were still good. My husband also ordered the large combination platter, which was awesome, but proved to be too much food for the both of us. This restaurant is a "must eat" location if you are looking for someplace new to try or are craving pupusas.

This is a great little spot for Salvadoran food made with love. Very reasonably priced and the staff couldnt be more friendly and welcoming. Flavors are good, but for me, not memorable enough to entice me back on a regular basis. The place was still busy when we went on a Friday night 45 minutes before closing which was great. Flat panel screens hang throughout, playing Spanish broadcast of sports coverage and Nickelodeon for the kiddos. Theres easy parking right in front and along side the restaurant but it can be a little tight depending on what time of day youre there.

Tried this last night after reading all the raves and we were glad we did. Food was great. We had the papusas and they were excellent. The rice was some of the best Ive ever had in my life, beans were also fantastic. The Curdito was fantastic, tangy and crunchy. Service was great and friendly. Ive already recommended it to 4 other people we saw later that night. Oh yeah, its an incredible value as well. With Papusas at $2.25 each, this place is hard to beat. next time well try some of the other items

Im a huge pupusa fan and I come from Florida. This was my first time trying a pupusa here and I was very disappointed. The flavor was simply off. Im not sure if the ingredients in Oregon are different than in Florida, but the taste definitely was different. I simply didnt love it. Their side salad for the pupusa was horrible. They pickled it too much and the tomato sauce was super watery. The service was fine. I wish someone had told us that we had to go to the counter and pay. Well, thats my two cents.

Me encanta este lugar , no lo frecuento mucho porque vivo en Gresham pero vale la pena manejar para disfrutar de mi plato preferido La Yuca con chicharron mmmm. Muy bien ambiente y todos son personas muy amables.

Although a quaint establishment the service is outstanding and the food is amazing. Although it can get very busy the patrons work very hard to ensure customers are well taken care of. Twice I had to wait a very long time and had free drinks thrown into my order for the trouble. Aside from the delicious pupusas, the warm and reliable service and hard working staff is what keeps me coming back.

I love this place but, be careful when paying because I have been charge more than what I suppose to be paying for food I only notice this after Paying a different amount the second time and for the same exact order. I actually look at the prices and realized they overcharged me the time before. This only happened when I ordered to go. Otherwise everything is tasty..

This place is delicious. My favorite plate is El Chevere. Which has meat and shrimp along with beans and rice. Im not a big fan of the refried beans however the rice is really good. I recommend trying out the ensalada drink which is pineapple juice with little chunks of apple. Trust me you will enjoy eating here. Worth the trip and the prices are not bad at all

The food is pretty greasy. I ordered one of their hamburgers, When it came time to pay they charged me for more than what I originally ordered. The guy told me it just defaults to the bigger size. Thats the biggest amount of crap Ive ever heard of. On top of everything, the restaurant is very unprofessional and not very nice to the customers.

Worst experience ever. If you eat here make sure you add up your own total because they always "make mistakes" in charging more for what you order. It has happened 3 times to us, the total didnt seem right for what we ordered and the chashier who is usually one of the owners just says my might i was adding the wrong account. Watch out.

Very friendly staff, low volume of customers means a table or two is almost always available. Parking is angled strangely and can raise your eyebrows, but is available. The food is very good. I always get the Pappoosas (chicken and pork), Tamales (chicken) and fried plantain. Get the fried plantain for sure.

Very friendly family joint at a very reasonable price. We went in a group and all of them are from el Salvador and these are the best pupusas we have tried also empanadas were great. Cant wait to revisit. We drive 30 minutes just to go here. Loved it !!!

Everything was amazing, good food and an above average variety. I had only two minor issues, I personally dont like soccer (they had soccer on the TVs) and it could use a veggie menu. Otherwise the meal and atmosphere was great

The food it is just fantastic. Their pupusas and drinks are just so yummy. The owner it is very nice but it seems he talks and greets more only to the people he knows the most or are frecuent regulars.

Love the papusas here. Very tasty. Cant speak for the other dishes as I never had them, but cant go wrong with the papusas and the curtido that they come with! The Horchata is also quite delicious!

Wanted to try pupusas. The atmosphere was very casual, good place for kids and very nice staff. I believe the food was authentic but it was a bit heavy/ starchy and a bit bland for my taste.

Very good food, quirky atmosphere, great people. Staff was very willing to answer questions and offer recommendations, as i was unfamiliar with Salvadoran cuisine.

Family owned and operated. You often hear laughter from the kitchen accompanying the preparation of some pretty amazing food. I am very fond of the hot chocolate.

Pros: delicious food, great atmosphere, the owner along with the staff have a lot of energy and are respectful. Cons: they need new tables and chairs
