I spent over twenty dollars at the Chinese Panda in Sherwood today. I have never had such a bad experience at a chinese restaurant in my life! First of all, they have no bell on their front door and the entire staff hangs out in the kitchen behind doors. I waited for five minutes until I had to call from my cell phone and ask where they were. I should have known by the deserted restaurant that this food was going to be horrible! After the "waitress" answered my phone call she came out of the kitchen and she was obviously "irritated" that I called waiting out in their lobby. Apparently I must have interrupted a very important conversation! I asked for chopsticks and she rolled her eyes at me and said she would have to charge me extra for them. Seriously? Why pay extra for cheap wooden chopsticks when I bought over 20 worth of greasy Chinese food?!!! Beyond the grease, there was no vegetables in the lo mein to the naked eye. They overcooked my sweet and sour chicken to the point of not being able to eat it. It was dry and had no seasoning whatsoever! I will never eat here again and will always have time to write a bad review for this horrible restaurant. Customers beware!

Worst Chinese food Ive ever had. We got take-out there and they got confused about our order or something because we had to wait an extra 20 minutes on top of the 20 minutes they said it would take. The real problem though, is the food, it was disgusting. We couldnt identify any of the meat, but it might explain the recent increase in missing cats in Sherwood. We werent even sure what each menu item was supposed to be, it was all just a pile of mush. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because we were all genuinely shocked that we didnt get diarrhea from it, maybe because we tossed most of it in the trash. I realize Sherwood is not the place to expect good Chinese food, but Chinese Panda is inedible. There are enough good reviews in here coupled with the fact that there are only two Chinese restaurants in town, that most of you reading this will probably eat here anyway, to you I say "I warned you," in advance.

Ive been going here for years. Its kind of hidden, otherwise they would be busier! Good fresh Chinese food! Great combinations! Great value! In response to another post, the reason they are in the kitchen all the time is because it is family run, and they cant afford the extra staff, so the nice lady who works up front usually has to help in the kitchen as well. And the people who work there are ALL very nice in my opinion.

We tried this restaurant after hearing about their large portions and friendly service. It was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and quite dining area. There were a lot of people who cane in just to pick up the orders that they phoned in. It seems like a very popular place. The servings were more than enough, we took hoame left overs. We will definitely be back!

I miss this place, but I still have to wait another year. Hope everything is going well. This is my favorite place for Chinese food. Not many places make these selections this way anymore. I usually order Fried Shrimp, Pork Fried Rice , Pork Chow Mein. Really Great Food! Very nice people...see you next summer. Sorry Im in Florida right now, nothing here compares.

Unfortunately eating here right now and this place is terrible!!! Food is awful and not of the Chinese norm. Came here cuz of the great reviews but theyre incredibly misleading. The service is AWFUL!!!!!!! The main Chinese lady is quite the witch. Never coming back and not leaving a tip.

Basically got a bunch of slimy and greasy food. We did a take out order and everything was separated and we didnt know what sauces were or what they went with. Just a bunch of deep fried pieces of chicken and shrimp...no veggies in S&S Chicken. We threw it out....wont eat there again.

We have been eating at the Chinese Panda for at least 8 years. The food is always good and reasonably priced. We are always full when we leave with leftovers to take home. We have eaten here dozens of times and have always had great friendly service.

Slightly under staffed but positive and personable server made the small wait more then worth it, as did the food. Huge portions and great quality. By far the best Sweet and Sour Chicken I have ever had. Good food at a great price. Thank you!
