We have gone a couple of times for date night. The food has been good both times. The atmosphere is hit or miss. While I know that seating can be difficult, when you obviously have couples coming in for date night, you should try to not seat them next to the conference group who are going to loudly talk about their trade and make inappropriate jokes all night or the family celebrating a small childs birthday. Look a little better at your seating options. That being said the food was always good. Steaks cooked well and accompaniments also spot on. Prices fall in line with what you would expect from a steak house. But if they want to be known as an upper class restaurant for fine dimming, they need to concentrate on their seating arrangement. We will be back for the food.

Not impressed with this restaurant by any means! I have tried it over & over hoping for a different result but always get the same one & have finally refused to ever eat there again! They cannot get my order right ever now how do you screw up a club house add Cheddar & fries Im not sure since theyre never busy but they do EVERY time & the food lacks in taste & quality & temperature every time. The staff is OK they do not come around enough & to get acknowledged & seated has taken up to 15+ mins because the hostess wasnt at her station & they were NOT busy by any means maybe 2 other tables but no hostess in sight. All in all if save your money & irritation & go somewhere else there are many different restaurants not to far from the hotels

The food here is OK but the service is terrible. It wasnt at all crowded but all the wait staff stayed in the back. We only saw our waitress 3 times throughout the evening and we couldnt even find another wait staff to ask them to get her. I dont know whats in that kitchen but they all scurry back there like their lives depend on it. They should be walking around the dining room checking on people. My dinner was cold and by the time she came back so I could tell her the rest of the table was all finished. She did take it off my bill but I would have rather she had come out earlier so it could have been heated and I would have had dinner!

Very average food. Clearly cooked the day before hamburger patties. Ridiculously skimpy french fries. Fish and chips was two pieces of fish. Kitchen forgot to cook other kids pizza so the kid had to wait six minutes for their food. Most places bring the kids for first. Waitress was very good. Of note... No printed beer list....

Service is good, atmosphere is bland, calamari were cooked to perfection but the crab stuffed mushrooms where horrible unless you like the entire plate and mushrooms covered in a 1/2 inch of thick greasy butter sauce in which I could have been eating cardboard instead of stuffed mushrooms and wouldnt have known the difference.

They take the "grill" part of their name seriously, they are very few dishes on the menu that do no contain grilled meat. That being said, they have some of the best seafood and mean in Albany, and fairly reasonable prices. The dining room is a little dark and fairly cozy. Service was good.

Came here for the prime rib and the service was decent. Its a nice clean newer restaurant and the seating was very comfortable. The meal came with soup, I got minestrone, and it was way too salty. Then the prime rib tasted bland and under seasoned. For the price I was very disappointed.

We were in Albany over the weekend and on Monday for the eclipse. We discovered this restaurant and really liked it. We had dinner there one night and lunch a few days later. Everything was great -- the food, the service and the atmosphere. Terrific place and well be back.

Excellent upscale food and staff with casual dining feel and no need to dress up. Very nice dining restaurant area as well as a more casual lounge/bar dining area featuring local beers, wines and a full bar. Price is fair for great quality and variety of dishes.

Never thought this type of place would be in Albany either. Great food loved the Chicken Alfredo, Steak and Coconut Prawns were good as well., Try the loaded Baked Potato Soup if you like that sort of thing. Very clean and the service was great.

Excellent food and the servers are responsive and friendly. Theres a younger male server with glasses that gives one of the best dinner experiences Ive had in a long time. Ive eaten there approximately 20 times and yet to have a bad experience.

Great food and no complaints from my whole family. We had steak and seafood plates with tons of appetizers. It was all delicious! Highly recommended. Fancy or casual nice dress to go here. Take your time and enjoy the food.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was divine, especially the bread. They do not have a gluten-free menu but the waitress knew what items were safe for me to eat - I have celiac disease and need to be cautious.

Very friendly, good food and wine! We were a group of 7 aged from 5 to 75 and all of us felt good about this place and the food. Easier on the Caesar salad dressing and fresh mango on tuna salad will make it to 5 stars.

After a week long trip to California this was the best restaurant we found. Stopped here by chance but was impressed with everything. food, service and atmosphere. I cant say enough good. Loved the clam chowder too.

Reasonable food, staff was friendly and attentive. We were here for the Eclipse and stayed at the hotel next door. Its a great way to handle the Not in the Hotel but Right There Restaurant. We ate there three times.

The only thing I can knock is the service. It is usually pretty slow, and some times it feels like they forgot about you. But the food is great! We have eaten here a lot. It is our "go-to" place for a good meal.

Good food. Little bit pricey. Not enough staff working considering there was a huge event at the Fairgrounds and this is the only restaurant within walking distance. Waited over an hour for our food.

Fun atmosphere, and mah-vo-lus mac n cheese! Best in the west, IMHO :) They also have some wonderful weekly specials that Ive tried, with no success, to have them add to the regular menu.

Out-of-town and picked this restaurant on a whim. Was not disappointed. Everything was great, from appetizer to entree. Incredible selections, something for everybody! Nice interior too!

On 2-26-16 for dinner. Silverware and glasses dirty and server got order wrong. Server was very courtious and I still left large tip because of his good service in spite of challenges.
