Nice place to get yer country on... This place can get down on Friday, Saturday night . They put the... " down " in " down home". When I was there last, I was talking to a gentleman . He was by all accounts , having trouble understanding my language ( English ). So I left him alone . Thinking that it was fortunate for him that he had 3 other friends with him that spoke his brand of Spanish. After last call I heard " you want a ride, you need ride"? Low and be hold, the very same mute that couldnt speak or understand my English . He and his 3 amigos encircled a young blonde lady and were moving toward the exit. Her friend and another moved to break off the pushy Latinos maneuver. Ive seen this before at another pub in Springfield. This was in no way the establishments fault . Be careful out there folks... A and yall come back now , ya hear !

This place is decent if you live near. Its an average "neighborhood" bar. Its just in a very bad area of Springfield. That doesnt promote a lot of positive vibes from the outside. It has some room for improvement in the cleanliness department as well. But you dont go in expecting it to be a shiny and clean place. The food is bar food. If youre hungry itll hit the spot. Being beer drunk helps make any good taste great when youre hungry. No reason to visit this place unless youre walking distance and you want to strike up a depressing conversation with the bar tender while drinking cheap whisky. The staff is friendly though. Theyll listen.

Emma isnt pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but when I was in the bar for 2 hours, bought 5 beers, no hard liquor , didnt buy drinks for anybody else, they charged me $44 when I tipped the KJ $12 & the bartender $8 what a bunch of crap. Worst bar in town. I left a complaint & the manager never called me back.
