My girlfriend and I wandered in here after some local shopping. We were hungry and our choices were the Thai place (gf said too spicy last time) , Pho (no one was in there at 12:15 pm; What?), Sushi (gf not sushi eater). She said "but thats a bar" And I said "But it says Bar and GRILL." So in we went. It was not tiny or huge, just cozy inside. Im not a sports fan, so I appreciated that although a game was on the biggest screen, the game was muted with cc on and good music played. The waiter was uber friendly and helped us with the menu, We decided to get something we couldnt get anywhere else: a batter-dipped, deep fried ham and cheese sandwich (on sourdough). They kindly split our meal for us and.... OMFG was that scrum-diddly-icious! Everyone we spoke with that worked there was so friendly and nice, and just real. I cant wait to return and order a Po Boy, YUM!

Cool little neighborhood joint with quirky decor and fun, animated wait staff. Does a MEAN kielbasa, first rate french fries, and they have good all beef hot dogs. Crowd is a little on the my-parents-age side but I went early afternoon. But 4 stars because the chili dog needs some work. While the dog was fine, the chili tasted like cheap canned Wolf brand chili. You know the kind if you ever had school lunch chili, where the tomato base sauce tastes like they used artificial tomatoes and the meat in the stuff tastes like textured vegetable protein. Ive heard it called "dog food chili" before. Maybe I got a bad batch, maybe it was on the stove too hot for too long but.... like I said the kielbasa is GOOD! Ill just keep getting that.

Today I went there was having a grand time when I decided to go to the " Ladies Room" and I saw a man coming out of the "Ladies Room" I went in to find he had urinated all over the seat. I came out called him the Pig that he had proven himself to be and I am ask to leave cause I was causing a scene. What the hell he used the ladies room and deposited his filthy body waste but I was ask to leave. That is messed up Ms. Peggy Mr. Dave What is a man doing in the "Ladies Room" ? Ladies stand in line to go to the correct restroom. I guess that signs mean nothing in Maxwells. Why even have a "Ladies Room" if you are going to let men who are pigs go in and leave their piss on the seat. Good bye to you.

Your typical bar experience, but beneath that, the food is surprisingly pretty great. The head of the bar is incredibly friendly, modifies orders as you see it fit to do so, and while the turnaround time isnt stellar, its well worth the wait, and priced amazingly low. My wife and I drop in for a bite every now and again, and while the fries are typically a bit overdone, the burgers are alright, the tacos are, as my wife says, Amazing, and the various other random things on the menu are pretty good as well.

Place is too cramped & noisy with regulars. Seems like most regulars hogged the whole area and tends to act like they own the place or its their home lounge. Food was ok. Service a bit slow. The first time I walked in, it felt like I am going to a high school gossiping room. That is all most of the regulars did was gossip about other people and other bars in the area. That is sad. Over-all, I like the bartenders are cool, Food a bit pricey for the hot dogs! Breakfast is alright.

This is my first time here, and it had been very enjoyable so far. Its quaint and clean, The menu surprised me, its quite a wide selection and it was very delicious! The beer menu is a little skinny but they have a full service bar with cool house specials. It does have a gambling parlor, and thats my only negative on it (since its something I want to avoid), but in Oregon thats hard to avoid. So far, a good place to check out!

What an interesting place. One of my favorite dive bars around. You never quite know what to expect but you will certainly get your share of people watching. Go for the inexpensive beer and hang out for the Karaoke. Its fantastically delicious. Its like that famous bar scene from Star Wars... in a good way. Real people having real fun from every possible background.

Good drinks or stiff here but definitely overpriced $13 for a shot of Patron? Get out of here. The food is amazing and thats what I would just go for. Skip the drinks and head straight for the food. Mainly older people are in here fifties and up. But its not a bad crowd to be around if you have a group of young friends or with :-)

I love this bar. I go here weekly because of the great bartenders and all the food that I have tried has been outstanding. I have tried other bars in the area and nothing compares, I will be a loyal customer of maxwells for years to come. Their potato skins are the best I have ever had.

Ordered the Italian combo sandwich and it was heaven! Italian sausage and Italian beef served with a spicy beef au jus. I added a bit of marinara on the side so I could double-deep and it was awesome. Friendly staff. Limited beer menu.

My favorite local bar. Its the Bombdiggidy! My girlfriend and I eat here all the time (and drink), and when we order a meal they split it onto two plates for us. There are free nachos on Sunday. The bartenders are very personable.

It is very easy to drive past this gem without a second thought. They have a good food selection in addition to a really good alcohol selection. The service was awesome and it was a great place to relax and drink a bit.

We had the Chicken fried steak and Meatloaf dinners, both were excellent and the portion sizes perfect for two hungry people who dont eat like birds. The wait staff were attentive and the price reasonable
