Horrible this is what happened to my cousin ... I went to the "Run" friday night.I have always been accused of being drunk but this one takes the cake right here:: . I walked in and I was pulling out my ID before I even got it out: Security: are you with someone tonight? Me: No Security: I cant let you in tonight? Me: why? Oh wait you probably think I am dunk but I am not, I have a disability Security: maam come step outside with me. As we stepped out side i repeatec myself. Me: I have a diabity I am not drunk. Security:: well it Is my job to protectect our business and our Customers safety as well as yours.. I am not allowing you to come in tonight. Me: I came here to see my brother play music and sing, and your not going to let me in to see him cause I am dissabled As I started to walk away: security: OH Wait!!!! Thats your brother in there?? I kept walking and ignored him cause I did not an was not going to cause a scene where my brother was working/singing... Thats a nono. I have since talked to the manager. Heres our conversation after I told her what had happened. Manager: I am sorry he did not know, you will be able to come in next time now that we know your siutuation Me: yes he did because I told him twice. Manager: well mam even if you are drunk or not we still have a right to refuse service to anyone. Up to this point have been complety calm. Now this time I had little attitude in my voice Me: so just because I walk like this 24/7 I am no longer allowed in this place. this is norm for me but normally after telling someone once what the deal it is, it is usually all good and I am not treated like your security treated me, so dont you think it then it becomes discrimination issue after I told him the situation and him not letting me in. Manager: no not at all, but if you want keep arguing with me I dont have to ever let you in again. Just wow!!! Even though there are a few good bands that I like to go see that play there I will never attempt to step foot in that place again, I dont care who it is! That is what you call stupidity and pure ignorance:

had to comment after reading the review below about waitresses deserve to b slapped and dont tip any of the barstaff. wow! i come here all the time because the elephant run has some of the best bands in oklahoma and i promise i have never wanted to assault any of the bar waitresses or bartenders ever. everyone seems to b very nice when i come on weekends.they have 3 waitresses normally and at least 2 to 4 people behind bar so i have never had to wait too long for a drink. if u r a fan of live music and like a nice place to enjoy it then i would say elephant run is a great place to go. place is alot more upscale then the other live music venues around it. crowd is all different ages of people who just want to dance, drink and have a good time listening to some great local music. always have fun here. not alot of fights like other places ive been. usually see groups of people here.big tables full of party people just like me on weekends. food is good and drinks r fair. usually do some kind of $2 shot special that i like to take advantage of.

We were in on November 26th,2011 and with a rather large group..When we first walked in their was a 5 dollar cover charge, which is ridiculous. Then my husband and I went to the bar to get drinks where we ordered a. Dbl crown and coke and a single redbull vodka, both of which were served in small styrofoam cups and then we were charged 23.00 for the 2 drinks..Then later in the evening I went to thie same male bartender and orderd a redbull vodka, handed him a 20.00 bill for him to turn around and give me 3 dollars change...wth..when I pointed out that I handed him a 20.00 he acted very nonchalant about how he was new and went and got me 11 dollars more...I have bartended for many years and know all the tricks that bad bartenders pull and I will never step foot in the Elephamt Run again..Ever!

We recently visited Elephant Run, it was newly remodeled. Friendly staff and the band was great. The price of drinks arent any higer than most clubs in town. They also ran a special on drinks from 8 to 12 and made it fun. the girls bring around shot trays and they were only 2 dollars . They have jagger and redbull specials . If you want to support your local bands and have a great time, in a nice club Come to the Elephant Run . They are selling New Years Eve packages and we bought one, I hear New Years is the best , they have Sweatin Bullets Band .

this place is rip off got a double crown and 7 at $11. I was like that was expensive so i got a double seven and seven and it was $11.25 asked the bartender why it cost more than crown he looked at the computer screen with a f u attitude and said thats what the computer says with that ill never go back and the waitress was nice but slow. I paid $5 to get in to hear 2 songs from the band in 20 min. had 2 drinks in this time and spent 28.75 DONT GO HERE unless u got money to throw away side note a shot of petron is 10.50

The elephant run in Tulsa has been in business for several years. It is of the main attractions in Tulsa if you like cocktails and dancing. The dance floor is too small to accommodate a very large crowd but otherwise its not bad. They have about 2 or 3 pool tables and the regular bar and tables. a few television sets and somebody attempted to do a jungle like atmosphere in the club but I cannot say that I was impressed with the outcome. Overall it seems to be a safe friendly place to go and have a good time .

Absolutely the most talentless, godawful band playing what can only be described as the most terrible music known to man ....to a group of know nothing savages who have no concept of music. I am talking about SWEATIN BULLETS - NEVER EVER EVER SE THIS BAND OR GO TO THIS CLUB AGAIN IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. Live orangutans would sound better! This bar should be condemned as a public health hazard. If you ever think about going to this bar, shoot yourself in the head. You will be better off

The Run is back i rate this best bar/club/restaurant in town ive hit em all over the last 10 yrs and im not gonna lie this place has a great crowd that loves to party have a awesome time and they are classy and mature fun ADULTS no childish bs there wasnt even the possibility of a bad time truly felt comfortable and had a blast come see ( The Run) on skelly drive come once and it will be your new favorite spot!!!!!!

Have no intentions on coming back here worst bar in tulsa. Had a waitress run into me and then just stand their and look at me like i was in the wrong extremely rude waitresses and dont deserve a dime they deserve a smack in the face. Dont go to this bar not worth your time go downtown where atleast the people are nice to the customers.
