I was hungry and in a rush to get to a company dinner at the Mattress Factory. One quick stop to visit the family and I was enticed to stay and eat a home cooked Mexican meal. A small bight to go of delicious so as not to ruin dinner and I was out. Had I known that was going to be the best meal of the evening I would have stayed and eaten a full meal, enjoyed conversation with family, watched TV and still had time to make my dinner meeting and wait for someone to serve us. Beer...anybody. The grilled chicken was dry, the veggies overcooked, the flavor gone and the beers too far apart. I have been to many renovated downtown tourist attractions and eats. They get it right. The Mattress Factory not only has to up its game, they have to find it. With CWS in my backyard, I would want people to spread the word...THAT IS THE PLACE TO GO.

My husband and I chose The Old Mattress Factory for our Wedding Reception location for its size and price. We couldnt have been more impressed by the hard work of the event coordinator, Cyndi, and her hard working staff. The location was perfect as many of our guest were from out of town and there were plenty of hotels to pick from that were all walking distance. The room was much bigger than it looked and had a great ambiance. They put on the Nebraska game (my request!) between the Wedding and when we arrived for our guests so they didnt have to watch it at the bar. The food was amazing, the staff was very attentive and Cyndi kept everything on time! I dont use the word Perfect, EVER, however our Wedding Reception was PERFECT! We couldnt have done it without the help of Cyndi and the fabulous staff at The Old Mattress Factory!

This place has thw worst food and customer service. My husband and i attended the cws on saturday a d decided to give this place a try. We ordered our food and ate it. Nothing that spectacular by any means . Our waitress was there just to order and drop off food. I wrapped 1/2 of my order up, and another gal came and took our plates. I realized right away i forgot my food and told my waitress, she brought over the gal who pick up the plates and she was snide and nasty which the waitress realized and brought the manager over. The manager asked me if i like bbq, i said not really, he said he could offer me a bbq sandwich which i didnt want but took anyway. Omg, now i know why they were giving those away. It was old and the meat was hard and chewy, the most rotten thing i have ever bitten into!! Never again!!! Dont go!!

We stopped here before an event at Centurylink Center and it’s a fun place to meet a group of people. Seating is serve yourself with some long tables as well as some smaller tables. This is a noisy sports bar and a bit difficult to have a conversation but great to share a sporting event. During events at Centurylink, they have a “limited” menu which means much less choice so be sure to check the website if you have a favorite on the menu and it’s event night. Stricter parking rules as well. It is what it is—typical bar food such as nachos and pizzas however I was impressed with the buffalo chicken pizza. A small selection of microbrews on draft and in bottles lets you do a bit of pre game warm up before the less quality food and beers at Centurylink

I have been to the Mattress Factory Bar and Grill a Few Times and I have the utmost respect for their food, staff, and spirits. Yes it may be considered an event bar but id rather call it a unique place to Omaha where the booze is never gone and the menu is always changing. When the new ball bark comes in 2011 there is no doubt that the mattress factory is the place to be. The menu is decent and changes every so months. If you want a place to hang with your friends, drink, enjoy the nightlife of downtown omaha come to the mattress factory. You will only be impressed.

Well, ordered a beer, I was given a 12 oz, supposed to be 16 oz, oops, sorry, my second was the correct size, charged for 2, 16 oz beers, no attempt to make better, OK Im out 4 oz no big deal. Ordered the fish and chips, the actual fish was only 1/3 of the mess of deep fried batter ball served, I am not picky, but it was so bad I am actually writing a review, beer thing is a dumb, but the food was terrible, Long John Silvers is way better, and thats not saying much, hope you have better luck, maybe the chicken?????

Really good food I would give the waitress a 6 out of 10. I ordered a Jameson on the rocks and I could tell by the first drink that it was watered down, I told the waitress I wasnt going to drink a watered down whiskey and she gave my money back on the ticket. it was a little noisy with a couple of large parties in there. basically a sports bar and grill atmosphere. We may go again but it wasnt an experience that would say OMG we have to go back to the mattress factory

My review is for the VIP Upper Deck Area during the CWS and may not reflect OMF as a whole. I definitely enjoyed myself during the experience. Everything they had for food was good, the beer selection seemed okay, and the atmosphere was nice. Since it was a self serve event, I did not really have any experience with the staff, but the bartenders were nice enough. Overall a good time, but nothing to make it outstanding. I would recommend the artichoke dip they served.

Okay, first off dont listen to the poor stars/ comments that are on this location. this place has amazing food and good service. ive been here plenty of times and have not had a bad experience. other than waiting on your food to arrive that dose take a while but what place honestly gets you your food within the 5 minutes of waiting. I recommend every one in Omaha or traveling to Omaha to come here and enjoy a good time with your friends or family:]

Did have rated at a 5 since the first few times I was there everything was outstanding. But my last visit was horrible. Misplaced our order and then when the food final arrived it was cold. Plus most places when they make a mistake of their own accord they offer you at least half off or free drinks or something. We did not get an offer of any kind , seemed like our waiter did a dash and run when it was time to pay.
