I originally posted a not so kind review of this restaurant in the heat of the moment and did so under annoyance and was over zealous of my own thoughts and feelings towards a small business owner. For those that read any of what I said I apologize for such actions and words that were not deemed appropriate and the unkind things that were said. So I digress of my unkind nature. Having time to reflect of my experience here, I choose initially to harbor ill will on to the restaurant for small inconveniences that I might have seen and not to write what should have been said in the first place. My experience at Patrono was interesting , the ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice and was well decorated to suit the atmosphere of a nice Italian restaurant. The waitstaff was very kind from helping me to know where I could park safely to greeting and helping with any questions or concerns I had about the food and the many allergies that myself and my girlfriend suffer from. I applaud the chef for creating a new specialty menu of his pairing on a fairly regular basis as well as being able to maintain quality and performance of a set menu. The food that was presented to us was presented eloquently in presentation. My pallet was not displeased with the flavor or consistency of the food, I personally could have used more salt to my dish and that was easily remedied by the salt shaker not 10 inches from my reach. After reflection of my over all experience I would say that I would like to try more of what this chef has to offer OKC.

My boyfriend and I made reservations for 7:45 on a Saturday night. We arrived 10 minutes early & the man in charge (Brian) informed us that they were running a little behind. We went to the bar and got drinks while we were waiting. It ended up taking longer than expected. Brian was SO accommodating! We were seriously surprised by the amount of hospitality he had. We knew it wasnt his fault (tables stayed to talk after eating), but he still went above and beyond for us. He came & took our order himself and bought us desert. This was out first time here (we live in Tulsa). We came here because we were in the mood for Italian & my boyfriend looked up places in OKC. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! The food was so good! It was all around an amazing experience. Brian blew us out of the water! We will definitely recommend & be back whenever were in town. Jason was our server! He was amazing and makes a good strong drink. Great service all around.

I visited Patronos for the first time yesterday before I attended a concert at the Civic Center. The whole dining experience was very pleasant. A very nice comfortable feel with the atmosphere, soft music in the background and the wait staff very friendly. The wine was delicious and the meal I ordered was Linguine and Clams which was outstanding. Im not Italian but the food definitely will put some Italian joints like Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill to shame. I will definitely be back for more and the whole Italian experience at Patronos.

Good food with great service. Staff is very friendly. Our food was good but the pasta was a hair undercooked. The atmosphere was clean and basic - not much decor but it appears to be well kept. Paper menus, basic plating and simple garnishes make this a casual spot for some good food. They have a well-stocked bar and around 15 tables, for parties of 2 or 4 with few private booths. Larger parties may experience a long wait. I would definitely go back.

The girlfriends took me here for my bday dinner. Couldnt have been better. Great place for a group! Very classy and relaxed inside. When the moped is parked in front, its the perfect touch. The service is superb. They were so helpful and friendly. Our waitress gave tasty recomnendations on food, drinks, appetizers and desserts. I dont think you can go wrong on their menu. The food is delish. Drinks are impressive.

We sat at the bar - bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable. I dont eat meat, so she gave me a number of suggestions. The spreads that came out with the bread before the meal were spectacular! The entree was quite Good, as was the appetizer. Id have liked to see a cocktail menu, but the bartender had no problem with what I ordered.

The best Italian food Ive ever had in my life! Our server was fantastic - he helped up navigate through the menu, offering small bites of information that enhanced the menu and experience, such as the etymology of orecchiette and that the famous Tony Bennett has dined there. I have told many friends about this place and will be going back!

Very pleasant experience with good tasting entrees. Server was quite knowledgeable and made excellent wine, appetizer and entree selections. Price was spot on as were portion size. Owner or manager was present and active in the dining experience. We enjoyed this establishment for a nice Italian dinner in downtown OKC.

My gosh THE FOOD! WOW! It was phenomenal. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The people there were so kind and attentive. I felt like I met people I had known for years and the food was just incredible. I really cannot say enough. Best experience yet in OKC. Ill definitely be back next time Im in town.

This place is such a great find! The food is delish. Even the bread that was broight before the meal came with an amazing butter and basmic vinegar spread and some sort of relish that was to die for! Everything was prepared to perfection. Very authentic Italian food. We will be coming back for sure

Fantastic food and hospitality! I especially enjoyed the Chicken Al Mattone. Its a "fancy" restaurant since its only open for dinner and takes reservations, but the prices were reasonable (average $22 entrees) and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!

Empire Pizza is one of my go to pizza places. The only draw back to this place is lack of designated parking and sometimes you have to drive around quite awhile. However, the restaurant is located in the very hip Plaza neighborhood so its to be expected. T

The best food ever! Awesome service. Relaxing atmosphere. Well proportioned servings. Their menu frequently changes, but you cant go wrong with anything they have listed. Try the almond cake- not too sweet, just right.
