Some of the worst service around. The waitress will have about 6 tables and will still only manage to make it to you about once an hour. This is not even an exaggeration. Whenever my friends drag me there we just order 3 beers at once, since you wont see her again for at least 45 minutes, if not longer. Ive been there a lot but Im finally sick of it. They also take your drivers license at the beginning and you always have to go track them down if you want it back and if you want to pay your tab. Unless you dont mind waiting the 45 minutes for her to come back and then another 30 minutes for her to bring back your change, then I suggest going elsewhere.

Ive been here on many occasions and really like it. The interior is small but charming and the patio is relaxed even when its busy. It helps that its several blocks down the street from the overcrowded Campus Corner district. They have a sizable beer selection here. And the food, while not exactly revelatory, is still very good. The service here is mixed. Like so many restaurants in and around campus servers occasionally fall into the "Condescending Hipster" category. I cant comment on Emily The Bartender and whether or not she is awesome or sucks but overall I like The Library.

The Library is hands down my favorite bar in Norman. Its a great place to sit down and chat with friends. I love the patio because its sheltered from the street by trees and well-kept landscaping. The happy hour and drink specials cant be beat, and the food is great. I recommend the pizzas, nachos, salads and quesadillas. Seriously, they have the best nachos in town! Service is super friendly and hospitable. The beer selection is among the best around and theres always something new for me to try. I love this place!

My biggest dislike: the table space - theres a big table post in a very inconvenient location under the front side of the "booth" tables that makes it difficult to get in or out, and on my way out I smacked my knee against it hard and bruised my knee. Im not a particularly clumsy person, so this wasnt just me not watching what I was doing. Food selection is okay, but kinda small, like the rest of the place.

Always great service and good prices on drinks. We had a slight problem with our bill once and the manager Shelby figured out the problem and corrected it quickly. She was very apologetic for what turned out to be an honest mistake. I really appreciated the speed and professionalism of the whole interaction.

We absolutely love the Library, however, twice we have been there on a Saturday when the bartender, manager was working ... Service was non-existent as she seemed to want to stay behind the bar and talk with the few patrons nursing their drinks..

Answered all my questions, very casual quiet atmosphere. My only complaint is that they wouldnt let me use my library card. Not the best selection of literature but I did see a catfight. I also saw a mermaid.

I havent lived in Norman in years but I still love this place. Perfect neighborhood bar, especially around the Holidays when they eschew the conventional inside lighting for Xmas lights and glowing wreaths.
