We stopped in one day for dinner, then went back the next day for lunch. We pop in and out of Nuevo Acapulco a couple of times a week now. We are greeted with warmth and served with the best and most genuine care from the staff at N.A. A special thank you to Kathy and DC for making the family birthday party for our 82 yr old mother a resounding success this past weekend. We had 20 people there and the staff never missed a beat! You MUST try the tableside guacamole, its not only the best and freshest youll ever have, but its a show in and of itself too! For an appetizer to share, PLEASE try the chicken wings with mole sauce over them. They are way too yummy! AND.. you have to get Kathy or DC to make you a frozen strawberry Cadillac margarita! Whooooohooooo! The main dish burrito or the pollo con queso are to die for! Tell every one that Tim and Deb sent you. DO stop by and experience a totally genuine Mexican dining experience!

Let me just start with . . . Yum. Clean, cute place, fast service, and the food . . . oh, my gosh. I had a vegetarian burrito that was huge. I did stop myself from licking my plate, but it was close. :-) My husband had the chicken chimichanga and it was, in his words, delicioso. And being from Arizona, hes very picky about his Mexican food. I cant wait to sit out on that big patio on hot summer nights. Me, my love and a margarita . . . yes. Today was my second visit and I cant recommend it highly enough! Update: Im a mad karaoke fan, so Im so PSYCHED -- just found out that theyre starting karaoke on May 24th. I will be there! I might be too full to sing well, but Im going anyway!

The service was poor, it seemed as though our waiter either didnt like us, or he didnt want to be at work. The food was not the greatest, just went for the enchiladas with mole sauce which is rare in my area to find. Mole sauce was pretty good, but the chips and salsa were not tasty in my opinion, neither are the beans. Also my daughter went to the restroom and after 10 minutes the light had turned off on her. She was on the toilet in the dark waiting for someone to walk in to sensor the light back on. We explained this to them and they already knew and acted like that isnt an issue. I wont be going back.

Love El Tren, honestly my favorite local Mexican restaurant. Love the friendly staff and the food is very good. My favorite dish is the steak Ranchero. The steak is cooked perfectly and tender and super tasty. I prefer this steak than to any you might find at Outback, Roadhouse, Longhorn, etc. The Cadillac Margarita is definitely something to order. It doesnt taste fake like many super sweet green dyed margaritas that come out of a freezing machine. It may very well come from a machine but the taste isnt that typical fake lime.

My daughter-in-law took me there to eat on 2/16/14 food was great service fantastic atmosphere wonderful I live in the Warren area and visit my children in the area would highly recommend to any one also, home made gaucomale was to die for took some home. Needless to say when I visit again I will be ordering more to go Thank you for your great service. Forgot to mention prices are good to........ Need to get one in warren, Austintown area.

We live in Charlotte, NC and visit our sons and families regularly. Since its opening, weve eaten at Nuevo Acapulco three times and look forward to our next visit each and every time! The atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and most importantly, the excellent food quality keeps bringing us back. Kudos to everyone at this restaurant for providing a great place to dine...we highly recommend it!

You can get good quality Mexican food just about anywhere in the area; however if you want exceptional quality you should be spending your money at El Tren Grill. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas and they were amazing, you can tell they use good quality beef and seafood in their meals. Good portion sizes just as youd expect. A+, will return!

Get the tableside guacamole...you will not be disappointed! Great food and atmosphere, with both Mexican standards (i.e tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc.) and their own creative options. More use of seafood than I typically see, and they feature meats fresh from a local butcher (Duma Meats) used in their dishes. Easily a favorite spot.

Totally different then those other Mex places. Staff that clearly can work in America a menus that is way different then those other places. I go in and try something different on the menu every time we come in. The Cadillac Margaritas are the boom! Try the green hot salsa you ha e to request it. So good!

This restaurant just opened and replaced the old train station grill. They did an amazing job remodeling. They have the best margaritas I have ever had. They make the guacamole fresh table side for you and but it in a giant cauldron. Probably the best mexican restraunt I have ever been to.

this place is delicious. Everything tastes fresh and is made when to order. Even the soups are made when you order it, not in the morning. I highly recommend trying this place cause it sure it worth the money and is one of the best tasting Mexican restaurant in the area.

Too expensive. $8.95 for guacamole?? Nuts! The food was pretty good but the service not so much. The server wasnt knowledgeable on whether or not they had something listed on the menu and we didnt really get greeted on the way in nor thanked or anything on the way out.

Solid Mexican fare, always consistent. I get the enchiladas verdura without cheese for a bit lighter lunch. The staff is wonderful, particularly the young lady who always waits on us. Definitely recommended, just not for a date night special dinner occasion.

We had a party of 12. Waiter would bring 2 drinks, then another etc. Forgot water...asked several times. Same w checks. Brought 1 then got change etc. We asked if he would take all at same time. Not sure he could multi task. Food was good but out of coleslaw...

Excellent food quality... The food is what you expect for a good Mexican place... What makes it stand apart is the freshness and quality of the ingredients... I will highly recommend the fried ice cream which is just like the old "chi-chis" restaurant

Service was good, our waitress Katie was very attentive and very friendly. Her sales skills spot on recommending the fried ice cream! Very good! Our food was excellent, the mole sauce was excellent and the margaritas we so good.

We come for the outdoor patio and the table side fresh guacamole which is always fantastic. This restaurant is right off the bike trail that goes from Ravenna to Akron and it is a great place to stop, rest and re-fuel.

Place was clean and nice. I ordered seafood chimchonga, was so disappointed, all veggies no seafood to speak of. Did not even taste of seafood. Never again! Son and daughter in law not impressed with their food either.
