Overall an unsatisfying experience. Upon walking in and sitting down at the counter, I just receive a grumpy look from the waitress and a mumbled "will be right with you". After several minutes and chatting with customers, she decided to ask me what I need. What I need??? First, I need a friendly greeting and a smile when I enter as a customer, followed by a "How are you today and what can I get you?" Is that so hard??? Her behavior made me feel like an unwelcome intruder, not a paying customer. I choose the pulled pork sandwich. It was mediocre at best. For a place that has "BBQ" in their business name, the meat should be barbecued and not just be flavorless pulled pork drenched in BBQ sauce. No BBQ smoked flavor at all. It only got worse. I was going camping and ordered a pound of the pulled port and a pound of ham. The pulled pork was totally different from the meat that was in my sandwich. Gross big chunks of pork meat, fat and cartilage (!!!) floating in slimy gibberish meat jelly! The ham was ok, however with a lot of fat on it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GOT BACK TO THIS PLACE. GROSS, GROSS, GROSS!!

I tracked this place down for my friends and I to visit after our trip to the pro football hall of fame (on an aside, how can such an exciting sport produce such a boring hall of fame. I can see jerseys and shoes at Foot Locker). From the hall its less than a 10 minute trek and the food was good. The lunch counter looked like it may have been there for the entirety of the 90 years they have been in business and this is a good thing. The much heralded relish was very mustardy and horseradishy and very tasty. Chocolate shake was good too. The thing I really enjoyed at the waitresses suggestion was the bean soup. Very hammy and very very good. The pork on my sandwich was piled high, mildly smoky and with the aforementioned slaw and some bbq sauce was quite good. Id like to give it three and a half stars just because I think it should have been just a tad less expensive (sandwich, cup of soup, milkshake $11.50+), but Kennedys benefits from my elementary school math class which teaches that you round up anything over a half star. Recommended.

Seating area is small and not suitable for very large people. The pulled pork, smoked ham, and turkey are the best Ive had anywhere. The bean soup is good but, in my opinion, needs some onion. However, that doesnt stop me from ordering it every time I go there. I love the lunch special which includes a sandwich, side and drink and is for dine in only. They participate in Belly Rewards. Michael, the manager and cook is very friendly, always smiling, and always willing to help. They have a very loyal return customer base. This is one of favorite lunch spots.

Small, hole in the wall type spot. Food was tasty. I got the ham sandwich with American cheese and the special radish they make there, I added that. Chili and cornbread with a lemonade to drink. It was all tasty. Reasonably priced overall. Might be ever so slightly on the high end for canton area tho. My service was good. The black guy who was the manager served me and he was there solo. Only a few ppl in there at that time. If youre out of town and in canton, definitely pay a visit and try it out. You shant be disappointed.

I was in town visiting family and they took my son and I here for a great lunch. I never knew this place was here but Ill make it a point to stop again the next time I am in town. The service is good, the food was great and it wasnt expensive.

What a great local gem. I had the bean soup and ham slider. I also tried the corn bread and the new scalloped potatoes to the menu. Excellent! My husband had the pulled pork and cole slaw. Says he will be back for more.
