Firstly, I would like to state that 8 years ago, this place was amazing. Now I wont even give this place a 1star review. Terrible from the moment we got sat. They sat us at a table that the seats and table were wet and sticky. We asked to be moved, they did but proceeded to sit us at another wet table. Now, as for the food, all of it was bad. Old and cold is the most accurate description. Everything I tried I couldnt even finish. I also waited about 15 min for them to bring out crab legs, I then asked one of the workers when they were going to bring some out, and was given attitude. After waiting 15 more minutes for the crab legs ( and watching as they brought out "fresh food" which they mixed in with the old and cold !?!?!) they finally brought out the crab legs, which they just put in the old water that had clearly been there all day and had stuff just floating in it. I decided to try it any way -mistake. Oh and dont eat the crab rangoon, worst Ive ever had. It had to be days old (like many other things Im sure). So to conclude this review I would say, if you go here, just stick to the fresh fruit. Thats about all I could stomach. Cleanliness: 4 out of 10 Food: 2 out of 10 Service:5 out of 10 Server was good but overall bad because I got an attitude more than once, and it wasnt just directed at me (a table almost walked out BC they kept getting attitude for asking when crab would be out ( which the customer told me was the only reason he goes there )).

If you are looking for a great Chinese buffet, the Great Wall Buffet in North Olmsted is NOT the place to go. To start, the service is scripted and rude when off-script, the décor is dingy and cliché, and the bathrooms are filthy. The food is another thing entirely. Anything they serve that is made of chicken is dry, their crab legs are completely over-cooked, and their mozzarella is spongy and unusually sweet. What’s worse - if one asks for fresh stock, they return with more lukewarm, over-cooked food in seconds! Even their fortune cookies taste as if they have been lying around since before the restaurant opened! The only thing that is spot-on is the lady who comes to clear away the plates full of inedible food from one’s table, but don’t try to ask her to speak with the cooks – she’ll walk away and ignore you! Only a human garbage disposal could eat at Great Wall Buffet. Take the advice I got from the fortune cookie I spat out (They arent supposed to be chewy) – “Examine the situation before making a hasty decision.”

Let me take the 1 star back the more aggravated I get. The wall next to our table had a spray of popall over it and at closer look all the walls NEEDED cleaned. The waiter that took my dirty plate sat it on the end of one of the buffet tables for at least 15 minutes. The green beans were ice cold. Last but most certainly not least, the waiter turned his head and fully sneexed on a clean table. Now if this is how he behaves when customers are all around how nasty can things get when were not there. Try to let the mgr/owner (or whoever she was) at the register know and she smiles, shakes her head yes and conveniently doesnt understand English. Last time well be in there.

Food is not great But the service is terrible.. Today I was there and there are a very rude waiter ..he treat me very bad ..because I sate before he serve me,, actually I didnt mean it but because there are no in the place but him .. He brought my check before I finish, even before I take my dessert.. He is like kicking me out I asked him for an empty Cup to go ..he said we dont have cup to go.. When I told him i was here few days ago and I got Cup… he says those cups only for kids… He refuse to give his name and he said he is the manager… he needs behavior This place is really not safe any more.. The food was not fresh

The selection is great. The food is warm but I do agree with the previous post that it could be a little hotter it does cool pretty quickly as you walk to the table. It is just warm enough, but not really as warm as I would like it. My only complaint is the price. It is usually close to $13 per person for us, which seems a little high for a buffet. We would go there a lot more if it was $10 per person or a little less. The staff is very frienly and very good about drink refills.

Food was great, tasty and hot. They were bringing out new food several times while we were there. They had crab legs during dinner when we were there. Special compliments on the chicken, it was prepared good and had actual pieces of chicken meat not just fat and tenderloins. All that at a reasonable price. I would recommend this place.

There are three things I would recommend on this buffet: dumplings/potstickers, coconut shrimp, and pepper steak. Everything beyond that was mediocre to below average when I went. Still, $7.50 for all you can eat lunch isnt a bad value, but theres not enough good options to make it truly worth it.

I must say, 99% of the time, everything is great. Food is hot and fresh. Occasionally, during very slow times its not so fresh and mostly not hot, but still cant say its bad. Its a buffet. It NEEDS customers to keep the food rotating. Other than that, it is a 5 star rating. I still go!

I dont understand why people are complaining. So what they dont have crab legs anymore, costs too much money and wastes too much time opening them. I never had one issue here and ive been coming jere over a year or two. I go twice a month and yet never had one problem.

Wide selection - but the "hot" food wasnt hot, and the consistancy of some of the items suffered as a result. The servers seemed impersonable, but stared at me the whole time I was eating. Cleanliness was pretty good, but the atmosphere seemed very bland.

I just got the lunch special and I was really suprised by how good the quality of chicken was and the amount I got for the price. Sesame chicken with rice and egg drop soup all for $5.50. Probably some of the best Chinese take out Ive ever had :D

Giving them 2 stars only because the service was actually decent. There was lots of variety but unfortunately all of the food (including the sushi) is terrible--bland, reused, and very poor quality. Lunch with a water ran me $8 tax included.

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The food is old and pretty much disgusting. Staff is impersonal. They really dont seem to care about what sort of crap they serve. Go anywhere but here. It doesnt deserve ANY stars.

This restaurant is extremely worn out from the carpet to the walls. The food was either seasoned too much or too little. Lacked proper utensils for crab legs but that was okay because they were flavorless. This place needs an overhaul.
